Guanyin Temple.
Before the fire started.
There were some strange noises coming from the window behind the Zen room.
Fahai paid no attention to it. If he guessed correctly, it was those rogue monks who wanted to inquire about the situation in the Zen room.
"Great Sage, Great Sage!"
But the childish voice that came next made Fahai feel a little surprised.
Fahai walked to the back window and imitated Wukong's voice and tone: "What's the matter?"
"You should hurry up and run away at night, otherwise it will be too late." The man outside said this and left without looking back.
Through the gap, Fa Hai saw the figure of a young novice monk leaving in a hurry. Compared with the evil monks who were adding firewood outside the Zen room, he felt that he was particularly cute.
I guessed wrong.
At this time, the firewood had surrounded the entire Zen room. Monk Guangzhi waved an order, and about ten monks threw their torches on it.
Fahai sat meditating in the room again, motionless.
Seeing that the fire was gradually rising, I looked outside and saw that the Buddhist monks who were supposed to be compassionate and help others and themselves were now looking at the Buddhist temples burned by the fire without any compassion at all.
Those who pointed and applauded were all present, showing their abominable features.
Fahai held the Fire-Bearing Jue with one hand and the Sunda Wind Curse with the other. It turned out that he saw that the fire started too slowly, so he secretly used the wind to help it.
This sudden "strange wind" caused the fire to reach the sky. The flames raged with the force of the wind. In just a few breaths, it almost enveloped the entire Guanyin Temple.
The monks who were watching the excitement finally became afraid. When the flames approached, they all screamed in fear and panicked.
Thick smoke billowed, covering the sky, and there was no starlight in the sky; red flames were rising, like a red dragon rising from the earth, tumbling nine times.
After all, water and fire have no mercy, Fa Hai also used wind to help the fire, and the flames soared into the sky, wishing to burn into the sky, crackling, and there were air explosions when the flames burned the wood, making the monks in the courtyard tremble.
A single spark can start a prairie fire, but once it takes off, it is not easily extinguished.
Although there are monks putting out the fire, it is only a drop in the bucket, not to mention that now everyone is only focused on escaping, who can take care of much?
That is to say, Elder Jinchi was reluctant to part with the treasure he had accumulated over the years, and even more reluctant to part with the precious cassock he had just received. Instead, he rushed into the sea of fire without hesitation, trying to rescue the cassock...
The wind was strong and the fire was strong, burning all the Guanyin Temple red. This group of monks really suffered, and they all complained incessantly.
Fahai has great magical power, and the flames seem to be raging and ruthless, but in fact they are all under his control, otherwise it will burn even more fiercely. Now he is carefully controlling the fire and only burns one Buddhist temple building in Guanyin Temple. In fact, No human life was affected.
Fahai just wants these harmful people to experience for themselves what it feels like to be surrounded by flames.
If he hadn't been a capable person today, wouldn't he have been poisoned long ago?
Judging by the way the monks in the temple were not surprised, it was not difficult to guess that this was by no means the first time such a thing was attempted.
That is to say, the little novice monk still has his conscience and knows how to take huge risks to report the news. It can be seen that there are many sanctimonious people in Guanyin Temple, who are clearly the same as the elder Jinchi.
Those who knew it said this was Guanyin Temple, a holy land of Buddhism; those who didn't know thought it was a bandit's den, with strongmen everywhere and no kind people except the young ones.
The fire reached the main hall.
It is steaming under the jade statue of Guanyin.
...
Luojia Mountain in the South China Sea is the ashram of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
When she came out of Lingshan Mountain, she did not go to find Tang Monk and his disciples. After all, most of the Journey to the West scripts were written by her. Therefore, the Bodhisattva knew very well that the next disaster on Tripitaka's journey to the west would be at Guanyin Temple.
Although it is only the Guanyin Temple, it has to endure two catastrophes before it can be considered complete.
One is the abbot and elder of this monastery, and the other is the black bear spirit of Black Wind Mountain. As for where and how this calamity should occur, there is no need to arrange everything in detail, just let nature take its course.
Because the five-person group from Xitian for Buddhist scriptures has not yet assembled, they will not encounter any fatal disaster.
Although Elder Jinchi is a little greedy, he is afraid that he cannot threaten Tang Monk and his disciples... As for the black bear spirit, he does have some skills and is quite spiritual with Buddha. The Bodhisattva has long wanted to bring him back to Luoyang. Gasan is the great god who guards the mountain.
I just thought that Black Wind Mountain happened to be on Tang Monk's westward journey, so I left it alone for the time being. When Sanzang and his entourage pass by, they can also create a disaster.
In this way, it can be regarded as personally participating in the journey to the West. After the Buddhist scriptures are successfully obtained, it will also be able to get some merit. This is a great blessing that can only be encountered.
The Bodhisattva is sorting out some key details on the way to the west in his dojo. Whether Master Tripitaka has "awakened the true spirit of Jin Chanzi" is a completely different existence. Some of the previous arrangements are naturally inappropriate. Fine-tuning, fine-tuning, A big change of a big change.
As for disasters like Guanyin Temple, it can be said that it is just a matter of making up for it. It doesn't matter whether it happens or not.
"Um--"
The Bodhisattva suddenly groaned, stretched out his hand to cover his chest, pinched a secret in his hand, and a ray of spiritual thought came out of his body and landed on the jade statue of Guanyin Temple.
With just a quick glance, I could see the brilliant red flames, the fire was shining brightly, and there were constant groans in my ears. I was just about to take advantage of the appearance of the jade statue to take a few more glances, when I suddenly felt a heavy weight on the back of my head, and then I heard a crisp sound of jade breaking - —
When her spiritual thoughts left the jade statue, the Bodhisattva saw clearly that the flames burned down the beams of the room and knocked her jade statue to the ground, breaking into pieces. When the soul turned back, it was not difficult to see from mid-air that the entire Guanyin Temple turned into a sea of fire and was about to be burned to ashes.
brush!
The Bodhisattva's thoughts returned, and he lost his former composure. He subconsciously stood up from the lotus platform and glared towards the east.
What on earth are you doing!
The good-wealth dragon girl who was waiting on the side had never seen the Bodhisattva act so rude. Although she was a little curious, she did not dare to ask.
"Long'er."
"Disciple is here." The Good Fortune Dragon Girl heard the Bodhisattva calling her and quickly stepped forward to listen.
"Just stay at home, and the poor monk will come as he goes."
Although he did have the intention to renovate the Guanyin Temple and punish Elder Jinchi with the help of Tang Monk and Sun Wukong, even if the Guanyin Temple was burned down, it would not be a big deal. But now his enshrined jade statue was smashed in the palace, which made the Bodhisattva angry.
After all, the Bodhisattva is a practicing person and quickly calmed down the anger that had not yet arisen.
She wanted to see for herself.
According to previous calculations, it was the evil monkey who was bold and showed off the treasure to the villain, which caused trouble... But now that Master Tripitaka has awakened his true spirit, he should be able to control the evil monkey.
If this is the case, where is the mistake?
If I had known this, I shouldn't have gone back to Luojia Mountain. I should have gone directly to find their master and disciple.
The Bodhisattva performed the magic act of stepping on the clouds and rushed all the way to Guanyin Temple.
After all, the Bodhisattva is far away. Even if he has great supernatural powers, it will take some time.
The black wind monster that was twenty miles away had already arrived outside the monastery, and the little white dragon that turned into a white snake followed behind him. It did not disturb him, but wanted to see what he was doing. .
"Ouch!" the black bear spirit exclaimed outside the monastery: "It's such a big fire. These monks are so careless. They need to be saved."
Xiao Bailong was quite surprised when he heard what the black bear spirit said. He thought he was here to fish in troubled waters, but he didn't expect that he was here to put out the fire... Since you are here to put out the fire, I won't care about you for now. You put out your fire. I'll go take care of my master first.
Little Bailong abandoned the black bear spirit and went straight to the master's meditation room.
