Ever since he came back from the cave last time, Wu Nan has been hiding in his room and refusing to show his face.
Lin Ji went to find him several times, but he just refused to disturb Yun Yun at the critical moment of cultivation.
Although Lin Ji had long sensed that something was wrong, he believed in Wu Nan, so he did not get to the bottom of it.
Sure enough, now that he was about to go to Sakya Monastery, he finally showed up.
Lin Ji and Wu Nan left the city together and walked in the direction of Moxi.
After just a few steps, Lin Ji grabbed Wunan again, then jumped into the air and flew away into the distance.
Wu Nan said with some embarrassment: "Sorry for the trouble, donor."
"If you have any trouble, this is what I promised you..." Lin Ji said casually, "Although I don't know what you are going to Sakya Temple for, but since we have an agreement, I will help you as long as I can."
Wu Nan nodded slightly, looking a little unnatural.
It's a pity that he was slipped into Lin Jiti's hands, and Lin Jiti couldn't see anything strange about him.
Lin Ji asked again: "You know more about Sakya Monastery than I do. How should we deal with Alayaji Bodhisattva when we go there this time?"
"The withered bones of Alaya consciousness are in the main hall behind the tower forest." Wu Nan said.
By this time, he had no need to hide anything.
Hearing this, Lin Ji looked puzzled.
"The dry bones of Alaya Consciousness? Doesn't it mean that the Bodhisattva is formless? Where do the dry bones come from?"
"It's a fake Bodhisattva."
After a pause, Wu Nan hesitated for a moment. This time, he no longer waited for Lin Ji to ask, and said again: "Donor, do you want to hear a story?"
"you say."
After Lin Jigang finished speaking, everything in front of him was spinning, and his whole consciousness was blurred for a moment.
This felt familiar to him.
But just when he thought he was unlucky enough to be targeted by the Bodhisattva again, he suddenly disappeared.
At this moment, two thoughts appeared in his mind. It was like they were doing two things without interfering with each other.
One of the thoughts was himself. At this time, he could realize that he was still holding Wu Nan in his hands and rushing towards the direction of Moxi.
But my second thought was that I was in a completely unfamiliar place.
It was a town and looked quite noisy.
But Lin Ji was sure that this town was definitely not somewhere in the Central Plains, because the people in this town were wearing strange clothes that were not found in the Central Plains.
"This is a Buddhist country." Wu Nan's voice sounded in Lin Ji's mind.
Lin Ji came to his senses.
"Did you bring me here? How did you do it?"
How could a little bald donkey in the third realm be so capable that he, a monk in the late fifth realm, could be tricked without even realizing it?
Enlightenment did not answer, but continued: "This is the hometown of Alaya Consciousness, the Buddha's country."
Lin Jizheng wanted to ask more questions, but found that he could not speak.
His consciousness was walking in the town, as if he was possessed by someone, but he could only watch.
This is a first-person observer's perspective.
It’s a paradox, but it’s true.
Soon, the man who was watched by Lin Ji's consciousness walked all the way out of the city and finally stood at a certain place.
This mountain is an isolated mountain, with only rocks and no vegetation.
There is a huge temple complex on the mountain, which is a bit like the Potala Palace that Lin Ji saw in his previous life. It is magnificent.
But Lin Ji's eyes looked through everything and inexplicably saw the plaque at the main entrance of the temple.
Daci'en Temple.
"The Great Ci'en Temple is dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, the true Buddha of thousands of Arhats and Bodhisattvas in the Buddhist kingdom." Wu Nan's voice sounded, "Alaya consciousness comes out from here."
Lin Ji suddenly realized that what he was watching should be everything Alaya experienced back then.
The scene changes.
Alaya Consciousness is already in the main hall of the Great Ci'en Temple.
He was surrounded by seven or eight monks. The monks kept talking, but Lin Ji could not hear their voices.
"The concept of Alaya Consciousness deviated from Amitabha Buddha. The monks of Daci'en Temple were angry and tried to restore his idea."
"Failed?" Lin Ji found that he could speak out, and it was the voice that sounded in his heart.
Wu Nan whispered: "Da Ci'en Temple believes that all living beings are equal. As long as you have the Buddha in your heart, then the Buddha will be everywhere. Every flower, every plant, every tree is destined by the Buddha's law."
"Where is Alaya Consciousness?"
"The Alaya Consciousness has traveled through thousands of Buddhist lands and is used to seeing the suffering of all living beings. He has seen the forest of wine and meat pools in Zhumen, and has also seen the withered bones frozen to death by the roadside."
"He saw that the rich gave their wealth to the temple, and the temple gave the rich their due status."
"He saw the poor people crowding at the soup kitchen during the famine years, just trying to grab a bowl of brown rice porridge that was as clear as soup."
After a pause, Wu Nan suddenly sneered.
"Oh, that brown rice porridge is something that even the servants of the rich family cannot swallow, but it is given out to the poor, and the rich man also gets a reputation as a good person."
Lin Ji suddenly couldn't tell whether Wu Nan was talking about Alaya's thoughts or what he saw and heard.
Wu Nan's voice continued to sound.
"The rich give money to the temple, and the temple gives the rich the status they deserve. Then they give away a drop of this huge wealth, and the poor still have to be grateful."
"If it was just once or twice, he would just treat it as an exception, but he has seen too many, so many that he can no longer stick to his original intention and believe in the so-called equality of all living beings."
After a pause, Wu Nan suddenly asked: "Donor Lin, do you believe that all living beings are equal?"
"I do not believe."
There was a hint of smile in Wu Nan's voice.
"I believed it at first, but then I stopped believing it."
Hearing this, Lin Ji had some enlightenment in his heart.
A realization that made his hair stand on end.
The scene in front of him changed again. This time, dozens of people gathered around Alaya Shi again.
"From birth, people are divided into three, six or nine levels."
"The superior ones are monks. They are born to be enshrined. They are the ones who serve before the Buddha."
"The middle-class people are merchants. They collect all the wealth in the world and offer it to the Buddha, and the Buddha gives them all the good things in the world."
"The lower class are officials. They carry out the will of the monks, but they cannot worship the Buddha directly."
Someone in the audience asked a question.
Judging from the clothes of the person who asked the question, it was obvious that he was a poor man.
He was sallow and thin, and his clothes were patched everywhere.
"Master, what about ordinary people like us?"
"Common people?" Alaya sighed softly, "In the eyes of monks, merchants, and officials, how are the common people different from pigs?"
Most of the audience members were in pain, and upon hearing Alaya's words, despair appeared on all their faces.
"Pigs are beasts, how can they be compared with humans?" someone else retorted.
Alaya smiled softly, as if he had heard some joke.
He looked at the questioner.
"Think about it carefully."
"What are you thinking about?"
"Think about it, are the people of this Buddhist country really any different from pigs?"
