"Venerable Guanyin, do you really not know the origin of this Mahayana sutra?"
"We did a lot of research not long ago, but found nothing.

Instead, they want to maliciously misinterpret this Mahayana Buddhist scripture and pour dirty water on Buddhism.
This Mahayana Buddhist sutra was the key to Buddhism's missionary mission to the southern continent during its journey to the west.
In order to start the journey to the West, Buddhism made many arrangements and even sent Guanyin Bodhisattva to preach the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures.
This Mahayana Buddhist sutra is directly described as a good medicine to save the world.
It seems that as long as the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures are retrieved and spread to the world, the creatures in Nanzhanbuzhou will be free from disease and disaster, and will not fall into reincarnation.

But Tathagata knows that all of this is false, and all the magical effects are the result of Buddhism's own bragging.
Of course, this Mahayana Buddhist sutra is not without merit.
But in the final analysis, it is neither a set of methods for cultivating immortals nor a panacea, but a tool for gathering believers.
At the Dharma Conference, the Tang king did not even need to maliciously misinterpret the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, he only needed to translate them completely.
Those present will naturally understand.
It turns out that Buddhism is deceiving people from beginning to end. The so-called true Buddha actually has this kind of virtue.
After a lot of hard work and many plans, even the emperor tricked it. It took more than ten years to get it back, and it turned out to be just this thing.
If the lie is exposed, Buddhism's reputation will surely plummet.
When the time comes, if the Emperor of Tang wants to destroy the Buddha, who will say a word about it?

"Venerable Guanyin, you go to the Tang Dynasty quickly. No matter what method you use, you must stop the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty.
Guanyin Bodhisattva quickly shook his head and said:
"Buddha, I'm afraid there's something wrong with me going this time."
What a joke, she went all the way back and forth just to get out of this matter, how could she get herself into it again?
"Why?" Tathagata was stunned for a moment.
"When the journey to the West was originally planned, I went to the Tang Dynasty and came forward to facilitate it. Now the King of Tang has known some of the inside stories about the journey to the West, so he hates me deeply. If I come forward again this time, it may make things self-defeating."
Guanyin Bodhisattva explained.

"Venerable Manjusri, I'd like you to take a trip this time.

Manjushri Bodhisattva said:
"Buddha, if the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty dares to provoke Buddhism in this way, there must be an expert behind him. I'm afraid it will be difficult for me to deal with it alone."
Tathagata pondered for a while and said:
"Then let Venerable Guanyin go with you. Venerable Guanyin is in the dark and you are in the light. They will take care of each other and there will be no mistakes."

After several days of preparations, the Dharma Conference officially opened.
In a neat courtyard, all civil and military officials gathered together, with Emperor Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty sitting at the audience first.

All this is understandable.
After all, the previous calculations of Buddhism were so despicable that no one could bear it, let alone a majestic emperor?
But now, just a few days later, the other party unexpectedly started to preach Buddhism. Isn’t the contrast too big?

For this Dharma conference, His Majesty has issued strict orders, and all officials of the seventh rank and above from the Tang Dynasty will be present.

It is not certain that the content of the Buddhist scriptures preached by these eminent monks has any profound meaning.
Therefore, although these ministers felt that this scripture was very boring, they had to brace themselves up and listen carefully.
But after listening to it, the ministers felt that something was wrong with Shi.
How come this Buddhist scripture is purely vernacular? What’s more, it only promotes some concepts of destiny, reincarnation, and the world of paradise.
The sufferings suffered in this life are to atone for the sins of the past life and to accumulate negative virtues for the next life.
Only by being devoted to the Buddha and cultivating diligently can we be able to transcend suffering, avoid falling into reincarnation, and even be able to ascend to the Land of Ultimate Bliss one day.
The core concept is to worship Buddha.
Ordinary people may find nothing wrong with it.
But who are these important officials of the imperial court? They are outstanding figures in the world, top figures in the secular world, existences with first-class eyes, some are proficient in magic, and know all kinds of things in the world of immortals and Buddhas.
Naturally, I quickly figured out what the Buddhist scriptures were talking about.
There are a lot of twists and turns, and it seems very profound, but the core concept is nothing more than worshiping the Buddha.
As long as you are sincere and sincere to the Buddha, you will be free from illness and disaster, and transcend suffering.
What, you said you believe in Buddhism, why do you still do that?
Sorry, that must be because you have committed many sins in your previous life and are trying to atone for your sins.
This is the mystery of Buddhism. It's almost an endless loop.
As for what you were like in your previous life, who can ordinary people see it? So just believe in Buddhism.
The difference from ordinary Buddhist scriptures is that ordinary Buddhist scriptures say that monks must meditate and recite sutras, get rid of greed, anger and delusion, and subdue their own evil spirits, so that it is possible for monks to achieve perfection.
But the pattern of this Buddhist sutra is much larger. The pattern is in the name of the soldiers.
Transform oneself into a person.
The opening chapter talks about how to save all sentient beings, saving one life is better than building a seven-level pagoda, and using Buddhism to influence people in the world and make them believe in Buddhism. That is even more meritorious.
"Lord Changsun, is this a Buddhist scripture? Why does it sound a bit like Legalism?"

"If believing in Buddhism can really transcend suffering and avoid illness and disaster, then do the people of the Tang Dynasty still need to work hard all day long?"
Du Ruhui couldn't help but his face twitched and he almost laughed.
This old Cheng is so bold to speak out. Compared with this, his own straightforwardness is nothing.

Although this statement made sense, they couldn't figure out Li Shimin's true intention.

"My dear friends, what do you think of this well?" As soon as these words came out, the audience fell into silence. All the ministers looked at each other, and no one dared to answer.
The knowledgeable people present will naturally know what this Buddhist scripture is like.
But this is a court, there is no right or wrong.
Many things must go according to the intention of this stroke, otherwise there will be big trouble.
Li Shimin said:
You don’t dare to say that, right? Well, then I’m here to tell you that what this Buddhist scripture says is nothing but falsehood. "
"It's flashy, unrealistic, and has no redeeming qualities."

"Your Majesty is really happy to say this. What is said in the Buddhist scriptures is too exaggerated. If you just recite a few Buddhist scriptures, can you still have enough food and clothing?"
