For example, data centers set up underground have serious problems. You must know that the land that Wu Hao and the others acquired in Linghu Lake is adjacent to the Linghu Field Protection Area. The terrain is relatively flat, and it is basically only three or four meters away from the water level of the lake.
For the fifth underground floor, it is about minus 20 meters. This location can be said to be already below the waterline. Even if adequate waterproofing and moisture-proofing is done, the effect cannot last long.
Although some electronic equipment in the data center is waterproof, if it is kept in a humid state for a long time, it is easy to accelerate the oxidation and rust of some components, and may even cause a short circuit.
There is also a fatal problem. If there is an extreme rainstorm, the water in the wetland near the lake will rise. Once the campus is flooded and water flows into the underground data center from the entrance, the entire data center will face scrapping.
Therefore, the underground data center is definitely imagined by these designers and is not realistic. On the other hand, the underground space in the garage can be used to provide some support facilities, such as emergency generators in the event of a power outage, the pipe network control center of the entire park, ground source heat pump systems, etc.
As for the data center, it can be placed in the same building as the supercomputing center, and the height and location can be adjusted appropriately.
Even with these problems, Wu Hao still favored this design plan, and these were naturally noticed by the people around him.

Kitagawa Yuichi’s design is very beautiful and has a traditional oriental aesthetic appeal, but it is too fancy. Don't you think these things are built more like a leisure resort hotel campus than a technology company?
Simple and concise, generous in use, this is the design tone I set at the beginning. In this regard, Yuichi Kitagawa's design is already off topic. The reason why he has entered the final evaluation stage is, on the one hand, because his design is more exciting, especially in the harmonious unity of people and links, and on the other hand, it is also because you like it better.
In fact, Yang Qiming's design is also very beautiful. Except for the central area, we can design these twenty-eight small buildings at will, and each place can have its own scene. For example, peach grove, apricot grove, maple leaf, ginkgo, bamboo forest, or some rose vines, etc. This is much more flexible and interesting than Kitagawa Yuichi's finalized plan.
If you like it, I can leave the layout and greening plans for other areas outside the core area of the park to you, and you can do whatever you want. "
