After two months of collecting overall design plans for the company's new headquarters campus, Wu Hao and the others finally received a total of 1,428 related design plans from home and abroad before the specified deadline.
After the initial screening, a total of 173 alternative design plans stood out and successfully entered the second round.
These 173 design plans come from nearly 200 designers or design teams at home and abroad. Among them, famous designers and design firms account for about 60%, and the remaining 40% come from young and emerging designers.
Compared with famous designers and established design teams, these young and cutting-edge designers are not as good as them in terms of the overall design scheme and the expressiveness of some details. But it is more novel than ever, and there are many eye-catching works among them.
In order to evaluate these 173 design plans, Wu Hao and others also made very full preparations. They not only invited expert professors from relevant design schools, but also many building structure experts to form a special review and qualification expert group to provide relevant professional technical support to Wu Hao and others.
Not only that, many construction companies interested in their project also sent relevant teams to attend and prepare for later project bidding.
Even Du Yonghui was very concerned about the design screening and bidding work and called many times to inquire about the relevant situation.
Du Yonghui's thoughts and Wu Hao knew very well, that is, he hoped that they could choose a good design plan this time to give Anxi one more landmark building or scenic spot that could represent Anxi's new image and new look.
The same idea was behind the one hundred acres of land previously approved in the development zone. They hoped that Wu Hao and the others could build an iconic skyscraper for Anxi. There is no way, and I don’t know where the trend comes from. Every place wants to be the first in some fields.

As a result, Wu Hao didn't buy it, but started anew and chose to acquire a piece of land in the Linghu International Business District.
This kind of skyscraper looks more impressive and majestic, and can provide a panoramic view of the mountains and small mountains. The floor space is relatively small and the space utilization rate is relatively high.

Therefore, looking at many large corporate headquarters in the world, without exception, they have not chosen to build such skyscrapers, but comprehensive parks composed of multiple functional buildings.
Although Du Yonghui was a little disappointed, this was Wu Hao's own choice, so naturally he couldn't interfere too much. And looking at the overall development of Anxi, it seems that the choice of Linghu International Business District is also very good.
This place is located between the main urban area of Anxi and Linghu District. If it can be used to promote the development of this place, it will create a new economic growth point. However, there is a premise for all of this, that is, Wu Hao and the others must first establish a foothold here and develop. Therefore, Du Yonghui can be said to be very concerned about Haoyu Technology, and therefore can be said to have a green light in related preparatory work.
In fact, the selection of design plans is very subjective. In industry terms, there is no high or low design plan. The key is whether it can capture the heart of the owner and make the owner like it.

This time, the conditions set by Wu Hao can be said to strictly limit the scope of the designer's performance.
For example, as Wu Hao said, you should not show off your skills or play with individual concepts. All designs must be simple and elegant, practical and comfortable, etc.
This has caused many designers and design teams to abandon many bold and adventurous designs and return to normal design ideas.
It is precisely because of this that the competition is more intense. The scope has been limited. If we come up with something different and refreshing within such a limited space, this has been a headache for many designers and design teams in the past two months.
Of course, there are still some bold, novel and outstanding design solutions. For example, there is a plan from a famous designer from Ruidian. This famous designer boldly proposed a deformation plan of building blocks.
Inspired by the building block game, he designed a bold design plan centered on the stacking of space building blocks.
In the entire design scheme, there are a total of twenty-seven buildings. These twenty-seven buildings are all in the shape of building blocks, including long strips, squares, 'T' shapes, 'L' shapes, and even 'Z' shapes.
These buildings of various shapes are then scattered throughout the campus and are connected to each other. For example, two buildings are superimposed on each other, or multiple buildings are built together to form a complex polyhedral building complex.
Moreover, the twenty-seven buildings are subdivided into different functional areas, such as market operation center, central comprehensive office area, data center, supercomputing center, customer center, etc.
In order to introduce this design, the designer not only produced a three-dimensional demonstration animation, but also brought a huge sandbox model to explain. Even though the designer could speak baby talk and translate in real time through a smart voice assistant, the entire explanation lasted for most of the morning.
Regarding this very bold and novel design plan, the opinions of the expert group are also polarized. I like it and think this design is very novel and bold, and full of technology.
Moreover, the structural design is very reasonable, it is relatively easy to build, and the overall cost is controlled within an acceptable range.
But some experts feel that this design is too fragmented and confusing. Too much emphasis is placed on dividing functional areas and neglecting the overall unity. He also pointed out that this design plan is not original, but borrowed from certain buildings and so on.
Compared with the polarized opinions of the expert group, Wu Hao and Zhang Jun think this design is good. At least it meets Wu Hao's requirements. The overall architecture is relatively simple, and the atmosphere is full of novelty.
However, this is only good and can be used as one of the alternative design options. The specific results will have to wait for other design options to be evaluated before making a decision.
