Lunch is over.
Gu Chen went back to the bedroom upstairs.
He took out last night's notes, which were full of notes. Although he didn't know if they were useful, he could understand a lot of them.
In fact, apart from these, the most important thing about the whole book is the illustrations of the meridians running in the last few pages.
Gu Chen had an intuition that it should be a kind of skill, and it was extremely profound.
Therefore, he did not dare to start practicing directly. At least he had to read the entire "Huang Ting Sutra" before starting to learn new ways to exercise his skills.
Gu Chen flipped through page after page, the fruits of his efforts.
"Is this really a method of cultivation?"
Gu Chen watched it carefully for more than an hour and realized the power of the book "Huang Ting Jing".
Although there are not many descriptions of realms in the book, he knows that after the dark realm is the transformation realm, the alchemy realm, and then the Gang realm.
As for what realms there are later, the book does not explain them.
"There are so many realms?"
Gu Chen was shocked and a little disappointed at the same time.
I think he is now in the realm of dark energy. As for the method of breaking through the realm, it is only a flash in the pan in the book. It can be summed up in one word: Tong.
Gu Chen didn't understand. He flipped through it again, but he still didn't understand.
"Why--"
Gu Chen let out a long sigh.
The book is a good book, but I can’t understand it. The things in the book are too whimsical.
However, through this book, Gu Chen also learned a lot about Taoist cultivation methods.
And this "Huang Ting Jing" is an ancient Taoist cultivation classic.
Taoism pays attention to three major cultivation methods: preserving the spirit, refining the qi, and consolidating the essence.
In this "Huang Ting Jing", the three major cultivation methods are all described.
The so-called Cushen Shen, as the name suggests, means to preserve thoughts.
To store means to store thoughts, and to think is to meditate on their form.
When practicing this method, Taoists require the eyes to be closed or slightly closed.
To think, you need to observe an object, or the appearance and movements of a true god, in order to achieve the magical effect of removing distracting thoughts in the mind and concentrating the energy.
Taoists believe that maintaining health and practicing cultivation are meant to preserve the spirit.
The skin, muscles and various organs of the human body, such as the internal organs, joints, eyes, ears, mouth, nose and tongue, etc., are all controlled by their own gods.
The so-called Niwan has gods in every section. If gods exist, humans will survive. If gods disappear, humans will perish.
Just like Qi is closely related to human life, breathing Qi is very important to life. Qi and life are one, Qi exists in life, and when Qi disappears, people also die.
The objects of meditation are also very wide. Everything has its god, ranging from the universe and the stars, to the small drop in the ocean, or the god inside and outside the body. These can all be used as gods for meditation.
There is a saying in Taoism that "the reason is the foundation of learning, and thinking is the first."
Taoism believes that all organs of the human body are directed and controlled by various true gods within the body.
If they fail to perform their duties or abandon people, people will get sick or even die.
Therefore, it is not unreasonable to say in the "Huang Ting Jing" that "the key to maintaining health and practicing cultivation is to preserve the spirit."
As for Qi training, all Taoist practices are inseparable from the breathing method.
Refining Qi can strengthen the body and bones, rejuvenate the spirit, prolong life, and promote longevity.
Gu Chen agreed very much with this. Thinking about himself, he understood how fragile he was before.
But since he developed the sense of Qi, until now, he can be as hard as he wants, and as hard as he wants.
As for longevity and long-term vision, he only has a lifespan of more than 200 years now, which is far from reaching that state.
Regarding the introduction of Qi refining method, the ancient book "Huang Ting Jing" also mentioned a very fantasy word, that is "spiritual root".
Everyone who has read it knows that spiritual roots are related to whether a person can practice and how fast he can practice.
"Isn't there a spiritual root in the cell?" Gu Chen suddenly thought.
Because he had discovered it before.
Some people have atresia or even disappear when they grow up, while some people still have it.
Although they are also in a closed state, they are also different in size. Once they are opened, the relatively large ones will definitely be easier to practice than the relatively small ones.
However, Taoism believes that refining Qi can cultivate spiritual roots, while Yuan Qi can make spiritual roots permanent.
The spiritual root here is not what Gu Chen thought, but refers to the root of human life (not the wisdom root below). The heart is the divine root, and the kidney is the essence root...
The so-called essence, energy and spirit, the word essence ranks first. You can imagine how important it is.
Accumulating energy is of great benefit to cultivation, and only by concentrating on it can you succeed in cultivation.
If you really succeed in practicing, then the eight-element nectar will automatically be produced in the throat, and after swallowing, it will be transformed into jade essence in the kidney palace.
Therefore, if you want to accumulate essence, the first goal is to nourish your kidneys.
It is recorded in the "Huang Ting Jing" that Taoism believes that the five flavors of grains and grains, although they appear to be delicious, are regarded as smelly and smelly things that can confuse the gods, deplete the innate energy, and cause the three souls and seven souls to collapse.
However, Gu Chen didn't think so. Food was the most important thing for people, and if they didn't eat, there would be no strength.
Now that the essence is present, the last step is to consolidate the essence.
However, Gu Chen agreed with this Gu Jing, but did not fully approve it.
Because, literally speaking, how can we consolidate our essence?
That is to eliminate the desire between men and women.
Because things in the house consume the most energy.
Accumulating essence means accumulating essence through practice and then secreting it; preserving essence requires guarding the essence chamber carefully and not leaking it.
Gu Chen smiled bitterly and shook his head. If he really eliminated the desire between men and women and kept his semen from leaking, his mother would probably be pissed to death by him.
Gu Chen believes that consolidating essence does not require true abstinence. Love between a man and a woman is the path of human ethics and is in line with yin and yang. As long as the frequency is controlled and lust is not indulged, it will be fine.
Otherwise, if those eunuchs in the past practiced cultivation, would they all become peerless masters?
Gu Chen believes that there are two main sources of essence. One is innate essence, which mainly comes from the reproductive essence of parents.
The second is acquired essence. These essences come from the essence of water and grain transformed by the spleen and stomach, and are hidden in the internal organs of the human body.
After spending more than an hour, Gu Chen finally memorized most of the useful content.
Then, he turned to the last few pages of the folder, which showed the meridians of the human body.
The first page is just a head, the second page is the chest.
In order: the back, upper limbs, buttocks, lower limbs, soles and palms.
The names of the meridians and acupoints are densely marked on it.
"Huh?"
Gu Chen suddenly discovered that there were many meridians in this picture that he had never known about, and the Eight Extraordinary Meridians were among them.
"Huh~"
He adjusted his breathing, and the entire humanoid meridian map was imprinted in his mind.
Immediately, a trace of Yuan Qi flowed out from the dantian, following the small arrows on the picture, and traveling through the various meridians in the body according to a specific trajectory.
Gu Chen was extremely cautious and muttered:
"The two orifices entering and exiting merge into the Yellow Courtyard, breathing into nothingness sees my form, breathing into the hut into the Dantian, the clear spring from the Jade Pond fills the spiritual roots..."
Listen back to the ratings and look inwards at yourself.
Half an hour later, Gu Chen's forehead was covered with sweat.
Another half hour later, his brows were wrinkled and his back was soaked.
I don't know how much time passed, but the Yuan Qi in Gu Chen's body was less than one-third of its original size.
I saw that his eyebrows had stretched, and white energy began to rise all over his body, gradually gathering at the top of his head.
Like a fairy in the clouds, a guest under the moon.
It's as if a fairy has descended into the human world, but her appearance cannot be clearly seen. She seems to be like the moon covered by light clouds, and fluttering like snow in the flowing wind.
Suddenly, the vision disintegrated and dissipated.
Gu Chen opened his eyes suddenly and quickly called out the panel, unable to stop the smile from appearing on his cheeks.
"It's done!"
