Originally, I didn’t write a testimonial for the release, but someone said it was customary to write one, so I thought about it and I decided to write it.

This book is my first attempt. How should I put it? Because it is my first time, I really care about the comments and evaluations of book friends. I read every comment carefully. You guys really know a lot of blind spots that I don’t know myself. I really learned a lot by reading the comments. Thank you all.

However, because of reading the reviews, I must admit that some of the negative reviews confused me, causing some parts of the plot to be a bit abrupt and some to be too gentle. The rhythm is a bit messy, and I'm not satisfied with it either. Only then did I finally understand the reason why someone warned me, “You can’t be led by comments when writing a book.”

Everything is still because I am too immature.

The original intention of writing this book was to simulate another possible Ming Dynasty. Starting from the early Ming Dynasty, let the Ming Dynasty lead the Han nation onto a beautiful path that completely avoids subsequent tragedies and disasters. I had previously thought about setting the protagonist to be a commoner, a noble, a scholar, a relative, etc., but in the end I chose to make the protagonist the youngest son of Lao Zhu and Queen Ma. The reason is that the identity of "vassal king" had a unique and special existence in the Ming Dynasty.

The vassal kings of the early Ming Dynasty were most similar to the "vassal states" of the Zhou Dynasty. However, due to various reasons, the various vassal states of the Zhou Dynasty laid a large foundation and opened up the land of China, laying the foundation for our Han nation to gain a firm foothold in this land. However, the vassal kings of the Ming Dynasty became the biggest obstacle to the Ming Dynasty. Not only did they not continue to expand territory for the Han nation like the Zhou Dynasty, but they became a huge stone weighing on the Han nation.

What if this situation could be changed in the early Ming Dynasty?

Lao Zhu's magnificent but miserable life is also one of the important reasons why I set up the protagonist's identity. They lose their parents and brothers in their early years, they lose their grandchildren and their wives in their middle years, and they lose their children in their later years. Not even one of the posthumous affairs that he had tried so hard to arrange went according to his wishes.

If he knew all this, would he feel that his life was a success? Or failed?

The Zhu family started with Zhu Yunwen, and the uncles and nephews killed each other, and then the Baozong brothers Jingtai killed each other. Then several emperors fell into the water, Zhang Juzheng repaired the sky with one hand but was destroyed, then eunuchs, civil servants, various forces took turns to harm the country, and in the end Chongzhen hanged himself. Although he had no great achievements, his death was tragic enough to make people feel sad and regretful.

The Ming Dynasty existed for hundreds of years, and there were times of grandeur, but more importantly, there were countless sorrows. The emperor's oath to guard the country was still ringing in his ears, but the iron hooves of the alien race finally ravaged the mountains and rivers of China. If Lao Zhu knew such a scene, what kind of roar would he make?

Even I often wish I could cross the long river of history, turn the world around with these hands, and mend the sun, moon, mountains and rivers!

So I told him this through the mouth of my fifth brother, Zhu Ru. Let them, father and son, work together to extend the story of the Ming Dynasty and erase the dark parts. My Ming Dynasty does not want to have sadness anymore, only magnificence: there are no uncles and nephews fighting each other, only fathers are kind and sons are filial, brothers, friends and brothers are respectful; all the vassals and kings gallop to their heart's content He traveled across the five continents and six oceans to open up new territories for our Han people, smiled at the spread of our Han civilization, and offered a pot of strong wine to China; there was no tragedy in Lao Zhu's life, he was always the man who swallowed the sun and the moon, was passionate A mighty emperor; a scholar with courage soaring to the sky; a fierce general who fought bloody battles to conquer the frontiers; a kind and gentle queen; and people who live and work in peace and contentment. The sun, moon, mountains and rivers are always there, and the prosperity of the Ming Dynasty continues. This is my Daming, this is what should be my Daming.

Thank you all for seeing this. Without you, I would not be able to fully imagine this Ming Dynasty that belongs to me in my mind due to various pressures. I know I have many, many shortcomings, but you still see this, thank you very much.

Please wait and see, this story of my Ming Dynasty.

Pinecone bowed his head in obeisance!
