Let me first reveal to you the content of Qidian's "Filling the Hole Festival" extra. It is about the story of Du Wulang. It is also equivalent to a small prequel to "Man Tang Huacai". It includes two characters who are mentioned in the main text but do not appear.

The release time is December 4th and December 10th, and Qidian Reading APP will be exclusively updated for free.

You can search for "Mantang Huacai" on the Qidian Reading APP and make reservations on the details page of the book.

(Quietly, I didn’t know there were two release dates for the Pitfall Festival extra. Anyway, it’s a complete extra with 12,000 words. Please read it all.)

November is over, and there is only the last month left of this year. I hope everyone has achieved their vision for this year. If you haven't achieved it yet, try your best in the last month.

This month I have updated a total of 217,000 words, and nearly 53,000 words have been ordered. I have also received 53,000 monthly tickets. Thank you very much for your support.

"Man Tang Huacai" has written 1.57 million words. The current plot can be regarded as a process of steadily advancing the outline. As mentioned last time, it is a process of Xue Bai's development and the collapse of the order of the Tang Dynasty.

I think I moved forward very quickly, including Wang Wen's rebellion, Feng Xiyue's cessation, Nanzhao's rebellion, the change of court, the protagonist's marriage, and the promotion of the protagonist's group. In short, I followed the outline in an orderly manner.

Then, in this month’s update, I interpreted some stories from historical materials combined with our story.

For example, Wang Wean rebelled. According to historical data, he may have rebelled without logic, but life does not require logic, but writing requires logic, and reading stories requires logic, so I made some settings. (In addition, I saw in the information about the Xingyang Centipede Bag that a Taoist priest dedicated it to Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. I checked it on Zhihu, but it was useless. Please don’t try it.)

For example, in the Nanzhao Rebellion, according to historical data, Zhang Qiantuo had an affair with a woman of the Nanzhao King. I combined some other viewpoints and made an analysis.

For example, the conflict between Mrs. Guo and Princess Xincheng was used in historical materials to illustrate the domineering Yang sisters. I connected this incident with the marriage of Princess Jingle and Yifang.

A problem arises from this - I interpret some historical materials, and I do not interpret some, which will inevitably lead to some bias.

For example, the historical data says that Zhang Jiuling saw that An Lushan was going to rebel early on. This is probably false. It was probably written by the historian to show Zhang Jiuling's awesomeness and to create a character image, but I just accepted it. Make another interpretation.

For another example, historical data say that An Lushan is a miscellaneous barbarian, which is probably false. An Lushan may be surnamed An and is the son of the orthodox leader of the Nine Tribes of Zhaowu. In addition, he has accumulated prestige through many years of military service, so he may be favored by the high-level officials of Li and Tang Dynasties. .

Many things may have been written with emotion in "Old Book of Tang", "New Book of Tang", and "Zi Zhi Tong Jian", not to mention "Tang Lin Yu", "Taiping Guang Ji" and other unofficial histories.

Historical data vilified Li Linfu and An Lushan and beautified Zhang Jiuling. When I wrote the story, I accepted it completely, regardless of whether it was reasonable or not. As a result, when I encountered something I wanted to interpret, I had to interpret it again... This shows that this book is just a story, so don't take it seriously.

This is a fantastic and time-traveling novel. It is not an essay. I just look at historical figures with personal emotions.

The reason why I often say this is that history still needs to be respected. Since I dressed it up the way I had in mind, it is necessary to say that I dressed it up.
