At that moment, I was excited, happy, a little sad and proud.
When this book was first put on the shelves, there were only 180 first orders, and the average order was 140. After more than a year of persistence, now the average order is 1,700, and the highest order is more than 5,000.
Although this result is still very low, it is a huge improvement for me.
At the beginning, I couldn't imagine that a real book would one day be highly recommended.
I thought about cutting this book off countless times, but in the end I persisted and persisted in updating it by 10,000 words every day for the month after it was put on the shelves. After that, I continued to update more than 8,000 words every day for more than half a year.
God rewards hard work!
I started officially writing books in 2016. It has been three years since I wrote five or six books, with a total word count of more than 6 million. The various sadness during this period is not something ordinary people can understand.
Writing a book, from conception, typing, revision, and uploading, consumes a lot of energy and time every day.
Anyone who concentrates on writing books, whether part-time or full-time, almost rarely has time to spend with their families. We devote our time and enthusiasm to writing and to readers.
However, when you work hard to write thousands of words and upload them to the Internet, with only a few readers, no one can understand the loneliness you feel.
As authors, we are not afraid of wasting time and energy, nor are we afraid of sacrificing our health to sit in front of the computer for a long time. What we are most afraid of is that no one will read the article that we have worked hard to conceive and write, not even the trolls.
When I first started writing a book, every time I uploaded an article, I always liked to refresh the screen to see if there were any new comments in the comment area and see if anyone would reward me.
If someone rewards you, even if it is one yuan, you will be as happy as if you found a hundred or one thousand yuan.
If a reader leaves a message saying that the writing is good, come on, Cui Geng, I will jump up with joy, full of energy, and can't wait to code out 100,000 words overnight to give back to the readers.
