Fengchan has a long history, which can be traced back to the Wuhuai period, which was earlier than Fuxi.
The so-called "Feng Chan" means to offer sacrifices to heaven, while Zen is to offer sacrifices to earth.
According to "Historical Records·Fengchan Shu":
"Sealing" means gathering soil on Mount Tai, building a round platform to worship the Emperor of Heaven, increasing the height of Mount Tai, and transferring merit to the world;
"Zen" is to accumulate earth on the small hills at the foot of Mount Tai to build a square altar to worship the earth god and increase the thickness of the earth in order to repay its blessings.
If you want to go to Mount Tai to enshrine Zen, it is not because of the rise of the emperor. If you say you want to go, you can go if you want.
For the emperor, the title of Zen was also a huge honor, demonstrating the process of "the power of the king is divinely delegated and inherited by heaven".
It is an announcement to heaven about the grand civil and military achievements under his jurisdiction in the mortal world.
It is necessary to 'obey the destiny', and there will be auspicious signs from the sky before going to Mount Tai, which corresponds to 'carrying luck'!
Since ancient times, only emperors and unparalleled heroes who have been "mandated by heaven" are qualified to hold a Zen ceremony.
It is recorded in "Historical Records" that Duke Huan of Qi, the leader of the Five Hegemons in the Spring and Autumn Period, wanted to hold a Zen ceremony after gaining the status of hegemon, so he asked Guan Zhong for his opinion.
Guan Zhong was the big man who created the nvlu.
In addition to his serious career as a Legalist, Guan Zhong's sideline business can be regarded as the originator of the Chinese Goulan lineage.
Duke Huan of Qi wanted to confer Zen status, but Guan Zhong stopped him on the grounds that the previous conferments to Zen status were all ordered by Heaven and only carried out after receiving Heaven's revelation.
In China, dynasties have changed, and there are not many Taishan enshrinements that are truly recognized by heaven and earth.
Among them, the most famous are the First Emperor and Emperor Wu Liu Che.
The First Emperor was the first of the ancients and the first emperor to complete unification.
However, under the rule of Emperor Wu, Shenzhou was able to eliminate foreign enemies, expand its territory thousands of miles, incorporate foreign barbarians into the territory of the Han people, and its territory doubled.
Feng Chan also has a strict sequence of steps.
The first step is for the minister to formally report his merits and say, Your Majesty, this is incredible. I have discovered that under your governance, the world is in good weather and the people are well-fed and well-clothed. This is a prosperous age for the ages. Why don't we try to seal it!
The emperor's eyes lit up: Just give it a try.
Then go find it quickly and see if God agrees. If God agrees, it will be a good omen for the world.
So ministers issued official documents all over the world, looking for good omens from heaven.
The biggest scandal in this regard is that Song Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, in order to go to Mount Tai to enshrine Zen and obtain his destiny, he directed and acted a "farce of the Book of Heaven" to prove the arrival of auspiciousness.
However, the history books clearly exposed him.
Only the First Emperor and Liu Che were able to climb Mount Tai thanks to God's permission.
When the ministers found the good omen, the emperor was overjoyed and said that I was indeed the emperor, and everyone in heaven and earth recognized me.
So I issued an edict, saying that I would be granted Zen status, and asked heaven and earth to cooperate with me.
Now that Liu Che has left Chang'an, he has gone through the above three steps, that is, the ministers have reported, the auspiciousness has descended from heaven, and the decree has been issued to the world to be enshrined in Zen.

At that time, the First Emperor received his destiny and obtained the ancient Nine Cauldrons to control the mountains and rivers.
After he became a Zen monk, he buried the Jiuding back underground and connected it with the earth's veins, making it difficult for future generations to see it again.
When the Han conquered the world, when Liu Che ascended the throne and Wei Qing defeated the Xiongnu, the Yin and Yang family watched the stars at night and found that the precious light was rising into the sky, and the clear light was shaking the sky, so they took out a precious tripod from under the Xianyang Palace.
This is like a transition of national destiny, from Qin to Han.
In the recent period, Huo Qubing defeated the Huns in succession, the earth's veins flourished, and all things were prosperous, which was also a good omen known to the world.
So Liu Che felt that the time had come for Feng Chan.
He went east to Mount Tai, which was the fourth step in becoming a Zen monk.
The hundreds of officials and clan members who came out of Chang'an, under the protection of the imperial army, stretched for nearly twenty miles.
Huo Qubing commanded the troops and rode beside the emperor's chariot.
In the car were the emperor, empress, and prince.
Later on in the car ride, almost all the clan members came out.
Including Liu Qing, as well as Bai Nanyu and Zhuo Qingke who were traveling with her.
For such a grand event, Bai Nanyu was a little flattered when she received Liu Qing's invitation.
Further back, people from various clans were also invited.
They will represent a class, and there will be a ceremony under Mount Tai that requires them to participate in the completion.
As soon as the emperor's car drove out of Chang'an, the majestic chanting of Confucian classics immediately sounded, announcing to heaven and earth, and the curtain was sealed.
"The emperor carries out his duties according to the will of heaven, and teaches morals but not punishment...Those who govern the country regard accumulating virtuous people as their way."
"The great source of Tao comes from heaven. If heaven does not change, so will Tao."
"Everything is in accordance with the name, and each name is in accordance with the heaven. The relationship between heaven and man becomes one."
Dong Zhongshu was dressed in a green Confucian robe, followed by his three direct disciples Bai Yu, Sima Qian and Huo Guang, all dressed up and looking like book boys.
The three of them each held a Confucian sacred object, which was two volumes of Confucian classics handwritten by the sage Kong, the pen and ink used by Mencius, a bronze knife left by Xunzi for cutting simple books, and a musical instrument.
These things correspond to Confucian 'classics', education, rituals and music.
Dong Zhongshu looked solemn, like a national master of a country. He held a ritual bell in his hand and struck it himself as he walked.
Every time he knocked, there would be recited scriptures, and the words would form into chapters, like golden lotuses emerging from the ground. Countless words would emerge from the void, and imprints would fall under the emperor's chariot shaft.
The place where the rut passes is actually paved with golden Confucian sutras.
Visions flourished in heaven and earth.
Just like the sun shining on the earth, the light is scorching.
After Dong Zhongshu finished speaking, the Taoist Master continued: "The best thing is like water. Water is good for all things without fighting."
"To the extreme of emptiness, stay still and sincere. All things are working together, and I will observe them again."
As soon as the Taoist Master's voice came out, there was also a strange phenomenon in the sky. A wisp of purple energy was drawn out, spreading out from Chang'an, pointing directly at Mount Tai, shining like a fairy road.
This time the emperor travels, it seems that the entire national destiny is protecting him.
This is the true Zen, where heaven and earth are in harmony, and all things are coordinated!
The power of the entire country has been mobilized.
Unlike Dong Zhongshu who was happy and excited to participate in it and witness the grand occasion of the country, Dao Zun secretly rolled his eyes.
He didn't want to come to support Feng Chan.
But there was no way, people took the handle, and the foreseeable difficult life began.
He glanced at Huo Qubing.
The champion Hou is sitting high on the horse, wearing a military uniform, lined with a brand-new doctor's robe, showing off his sharp edge.
The people accompanying him were all the elites of the Forbidden Army.
Fu Luzhi, Chen Qing, Yao Zhao, Zhao Ponu and Zhao Anji each rode and led the troops, showing great majesty.
The Forbidden Army soldiers gathered together, and a huge war girder appeared in the sky, stretching across the sky, containing the power of domination.
Dao Zun glanced at Zhan Ge in the sky and muttered to himself: "The champion's practice seems to have increased again. It's unreasonable. He is breaking through one realm after another."
Various schools such as Zhang Tang, Jiang Yan, Da Sinong, and Mohism also had methods to help the emperor leave Chang'an and go east.
The emperor was chatting with Huo Qubing in his car: "What is your purpose of wanting me to make Taoism the state religion?"
"Make some preparations. There is a kind of spiritual practice in the southern country called 'Buddha'. It will soon come to my country to preach. I want to promote my own things first and get a head start. Your Majesty has allocated famous mountains in various places to Taoism to build Taoist temples. It's best to stand still and maintain your strength," Huo Qubing said.

The emperor reprimanded: "If the 'Buddha' you mentioned is harmful, I will not allow it. If it is harmless and beneficial, why not spread it?"

Taoism's dry practice does not give anything in return, and it is a loss-making business from the beginning, so it is naturally weak in communication.

To know that this world has the power of myth, the spread of Buddhism becomes very necessary to deal with it, and it must be done early.
Chang'an is thousands of miles away from Mount Tai.
Not long after leaving the city, Huo Qubing started his marching strategy, but he did not rush on the road at full speed. He waited for four days, corresponding to the four seasons of heaven and earth, before finally reaching the foot of Mount Tai.
Here will be the fifth step of Feng Chan, that is, the emperor takes a bath to concentrate, restrain his desires and meditate.
That night, the sixth step of Feng Chan was simultaneously launched - the Firewood Festival!
In the four directions under the main peak of Mount Tai, four large cauldrons are placed, with fire burning in the cauldrons.
The ancients believed that the light of the fire pointing upward and the smoke rising into the sky could communicate with the gods and convey the respect of the worshipers!
The fire burned all night long. From a distance, it looked like four giant torches were lit in all directions around Mount Tai, illuminating China.
The night is quiet.
Everyone returned to camp and rested separately, waiting for the moment when the emperor climbed Mount Tai.

Liu Qian moved from Huainan to the coastal area, and what he was most uncomfortable with was the howling sea breeze.
He was staring blankly at the bamboo slips in front of him.
The arrival of this simple book is very strange.
When he learned that his father, King Huainan, had passed away, he felt as if a pillar had collapsed in his heart. He could not sleep well at night and had constant dreams, often of bizarre things.
And tonight he also had a nightmare. In the dream, the Han army found his position, rode towards him, and cut off his head with a sword.
With bright red blood splattering and severe pain, Liu Qian woke up from his nightmare.
At midnight, the bright moon hangs high.
He immediately saw an additional roll of bamboo slips on the low mat next to the couch.
Writing appeared out of thin air on the brief book: "Your father was killed by Huo Qubing and the emperor. Do you want to avenge him?"
The writing is like blood.
Liu Qian was frightened, trembling, and horrified.
"You don't dare to face Huo Qubing and the emperor?"
The handwriting on the brief book was full of ridicule and disdain: "Your cowardice is doomed to accomplish nothing and you will not be able to participate in the changes in this world."
Liu Qian seemed to be stimulated and shouted: "I don't have it. I don't have anything anymore. What else is there to be afraid of?"
"No, you still have the retreat that your father has been planning for many years, the population that was secretly transferred from Huainan, and this small country that was captured.
After he dies, you will be the leader of this small country. Although the country is small, it still has a population of millions. If you are willing to risk the lives of these millions of people, you may have hope of revenge! "
The handwriting on the simple book changes, like a devil whispering to tempt Liu Qian.
"A population of one million..." Liu Qian murmured in a low voice.

The emperor bathed and changed his clothes at the foot of Mount Tai, worshiped his ancestors and meditated.
This process also takes four days, corresponding to the rotation of the four seasons.
In the early morning four days later, the emperor, wearing a dragon robe and a beaded crown on his head, arrived at the foot of Mount Tai where the Jade Emperor Peak is located.
At this time, candidates from all clans and classes in the world, representing the common people, officials, and clans, were successively listed.
The kings and royal families of the countries in the former Western Regions, the leaders of the Fuyu and Wuhuan tribes in the northeast, and the heads of some tribes of the Western Qiang who agreed to join the Han Dynasty gathered at the foot of Mount Tai, symbolizing the coming of all nations.
They, the people of the clan, and the officials were divided into five directions, corresponding to the wishes of the people in the five directions, and respectfully kowtowed to the emperor.
Jiang Yan of the Yin and Yang family stood at the foot of the mountain in a wide robe and long sleeves, announcing: "The emperor has been ordered by heaven to ascend Mount Tai to become a Zen monk."
Including the queen, prince, Liu Qing and other close relatives of the clan, they all stayed at the foot of the mountain to look up at the emperor who was climbing the mountain.
Only Huo Qubing could accompany him, and Wei Qing could follow him up the mountain later.
But there were only the emperor and Huo Qubing in the first array.
This is similar to the actual situation in history.
Historically, when Emperor Wu ascended Mount Tai to enshrine Zen, Huo Qubing passed away, but Liu Che personally took his son Huo Shan, who was less than ten years old at the time, to the top of Mount Tai together.
Emperor Wu and Huo Qubing's son climbed Mount Tai to hold the Zen ceremony. Even the prince can't enjoy this honor. What's the reason?
As the son of Huo Qubing, Emperor Wu had always had high hopes for Huo Shan.
After Huo Qubing died, Huo Shen was also raised by him.
He hoped that the world-famous general who sealed the wolf's place in Xu would pass down his mantle so that when Huo Shan grew up, he would serve the country like his father Huo Qubing and recreate the glorious achievements of defeating countless enemies.
Unfortunately, Huo Shen died suddenly and unexpectedly shortly after climbing Mount Tai. Emperor Wu was deeply saddened when he heard about it.
At this time, just as the emperor and Huo Qubing stepped up the first stone steps of Mount Tai, a thunder suddenly struck from the sky, illuminating the mountains, rivers and land in an instant!
The emperor ignored him and stepped steadily up the second stone step.
Huo Qubing was a little behind and was accompanying him.
The two of them climbed the mountain steadily, getting higher and higher amidst the thunder.
