What to say before putting it on the shelves

The novel already has 210,000 words. According to the pace of most novels at the current starting point, it is time to put it on the shelves.

But I decided to wait another week and put it on the shelves next Friday.

Being on the shelves means that updates cannot be interrupted, at least 4,000 words per day. Frankly speaking, I am not ready yet. I plan to spend this week perfecting the outline and details.

I originally had some manuscripts in hand, but in January due to personal matters and the Chinese New Year, I was unable to fully devote myself to writing. Not only did I fail to save any manuscripts, but my manuscripts were also exhausted.

After all, I am still slow at coding. You may not know that I am a full-time writer. I sit in front of the computer for eight hours a day and can only code 4,000 words.

The speed is ridiculously slow, not as good as many part-time authors.

I may have some obsessive-compulsive disorder. If I don't like a sentence, I will revise it for a long time, over and over again. Although I haven't revised anything brilliant, the time is all wasted.

In order to ensure stable updates, I decided to publish it at night for a week and only update one chapter every day. This may not be enough to read, but everyone has also read more free chapters, right?
