Yun Ao's Notes is divided into two parts. The first half describes Long Aotian's life. The biography of Long Aotian in Yunyinzhi mostly records what Long Aotian did at Yunyinmen. The story is very inspiring, but relatively sketchy. The story told in this notebook is very detailed, like his own memoirs. It even records Long Aotian stealing cucumbers as a child, secretly falling in love with his senior sister when he grew up, secretly writing a love letter to confess his love and being rejected.
This kind of chronicle records a person's life, starting from the time when he was four or five years old to the age of fifty-five. If it were anyone else who is busy practicing, who would have time to read such a stinky and long memoir. But luckily, Lu Duofu was that idler, and he had plenty of time to read the whole story of a senior in the sect.
It can be seen that this Long Aotian is also a person of temperament. When he won the first place in the sect competition, he happily wrote a letter to confess to his senior sister. He thought he could win the favor of his senior sister, but he was rejected ruthlessly. Long Aotian was so disheartened that he went to a restaurant to get drunk for a month and used all the rewards from the sect competition as drink money...
Later, after his master patiently enlightened him, Long Aotian finally let go of his worries, saw through the world of mortals, and devoted himself to martial arts. From then on, Long Aotian's cultivation skyrocketed. After entering the ninth level of the Martial Emperor Realm, the Black Tiger Gang happened to do evil. He resolutely gave up the opportunity to break through, used his sword to eliminate evil, and became a useless person ever since.
Throughout Long Aotian's life, there is the sweetness of secret love, the high-spiritedness of winning the sect competition, the disappointment of being rejected for his confession, the calmness after seeing through the world of mortals, the determination to eliminate evil without hesitation, and the despair after his cultivation has been exhausted. The rich life experiences of his predecessors not only gave Lu Duofu a feast for his eyes, but also improved his understanding of life a lot. But the second half of the handbook was not only a great help to Lu Duofu, but something that could truly change one's fate.
It is said that after Long Aotian's cultivation was completely exhausted, he was indeed depressed, eating and waiting for death for a while. After losing his spiritual vein, he could no longer practice and was no longer suitable to hold positions within the sect, so he became a complete idler, worse than Lu Duofu's current situation.
But after being idle for more than a year, Long Aotian came up with the idea that it would be a pity if he didn't leave anything behind during his heroic life, so he wrote a memoir, which is the first half of the notebook. After finishing writing, Long Aotian himself was moved. It would be too cowardly to live such a wonderful life and wait to die. He was unwilling to give in and wanted to regain his cultivation.
But it is impossible to practice without spiritual veins, this is the consensus of all warriors. However, the consensus of mortals cannot influence the ideas of geniuses. Once a genius like Long Aotian has an idea in his mind, he will persist in doing it, no matter how deviant he is.
Five years later, Long Aotian's perseverance paid off. After careful reasoning and dozens of practices, he created an unprecedented method of luck called "Pulseless Breath." This method is suitable for the cultivation of people without pulses, but its shortcomings are also obvious. Due to the different methods of cultivation, all the exercises in this world are not suitable for the cultivation of people without pulses. If you want a method, you have to create it yourself. The same is true for martial arts. The way the spiritual power of Pulseless Breath operates is different from that of ordinary people. People who practice "Pulseless Breath" cannot use the martial arts used by ordinary people.
Lu Duofu couldn't tell whether this technique was good or bad for the time being. However, judging from Lu Duofu's experience in medicine over the years, there is nothing wrong with this method, and practice will not lead to obsession. As for martial arts and martial arts, because Long Aotian died not long after he created the pulseless breath, he naturally had no time to create it.
"Bang bang bang", Lu Duofu listened to his own heartbeat, feeling overwhelmed with excitement. It has been more than three years. Although he has inherited the mantle of Old Man Wen and has become the little miracle doctor of Yunyin Sect, Lu Duofu knows in his heart that his situation is not as glamorous as it appears.
Unable to practice, he, Lu Duofu, could never become a true disciple of Nangong Xiu, nor could he become an official disciple of Yunyin Sect. In the huge Yunyin Sect, he will always be an outsider.
As for his inability to practice, no one in the Yunyin Sect knew about it. Many disciples were very disdainful of him, thinking that the master was blind to accept such a person as a disciple. In addition, Lu Duofu was always close to Nangong Yueta, which made these young disciples jealous, so they called him a waste behind his back. Only when Nangong Yue or Nangong Xiu meet their husband, will they call him Junior Brother Lu against their will.
For Lu Duofu, who was born as a beggar, his highest ideal is to have food to eat in the future. As for whether he can practice martial arts, it doesn't really matter to him. It's just that he really doesn't want to become an alien in the eyes of others because he can't practice, especially if the Nangong Xiu Society will be implicated in him and become a laughing stock. Now that there is a possibility of all this changing, how can Lu Duofu not be excited?
I have to tell Master and them to make them happy, Lu Duofu thought to himself. But then I thought about it, I haven't even finished these horoscopes yet. What if I really don't have the talent for cultivation and stop moving forward from now on, that wouldn't be embarrassing. Forget it, let's not talk about it for now. It won't be too late to tell Master and them after they have really mastered it.
From the next day, Lu Duofu began to practice. Lu Duofu chose the Yunyao Hall in Luoxia Peak as the place to practice. Now that Old Man Wen is gone, Yun Yao Tang still remains. It is most appropriate for Lu Duofu, who has inherited his mantle, to be on duty there.
In fact, there are only a few hundred people in Yunyin Sect, and they are all strong martial arts practitioners, so few of them will get sick. Normally, those disciples would just have a skin injury when they were competing with each other, and they could just treat it with the golden sore medicine.
As for the people at the foot of Yunyin Mountain, although there are thousands of them, there is a medical clinic in the town, which can basically meet the needs of these people. Except for difficult and complicated diseases, few people would travel across mountains and rivers to seek medical treatment at Yun Yaotang. Moreover, after the death of Old Man Wen, some people still did not fully trust Lu Duofu's medical skills. After all, he was only a fourteen-year-old boy.
Therefore, Lu Duofu is basically the only one in Yunyao Hall now, which greatly facilitates his practice. After entering the medicine hall and closing the door, Lu Duofu followed the instructions in the handbook, sat down cross-legged, and guided the spiritual energy to circulate in his body.
"Uh..." The pain in his chest was so severe that Lu Duofu almost fainted from the pain. But Lu Duofu didn't feel surprised and had no intention of stopping. According to Long Aotian's annotation, the luck method of Pulseless Breath is completely different from the normal Qi refining formula, and is more overbearing and direct, so it will cause certain trauma to the body.
Beginners must endure severe pain to practice Qi and forcibly open a channel for luck in the body. As practice deepens, the pain will gradually diminish. Practice until the pain completely disappears, which means you have succeeded and you can practice normally.
This method is too whimsical, and it is still unknown whether it will succeed or not. The only way to see the final result is to persevere. The key is to endure the pain, and very few people can persevere. But for Lu Duofu, he had no choice.
After every few days of practice, Lu Duofu would use silver needles to draw out the spiritual energy to prevent excessive accumulation of spiritual energy and harm to the body. Lu Duofu secretly rejoiced that Uncle Wen was so foresight when he decided to study medicine.
After practicing for a month, there is still no effect. On the other hand, he practiced frequently and lacked sleep, so his energy inevitably became poor. He often drifted off and took naps. The master and his wife both wondered if Lu Duofu was sick and wanted to see a doctor. Lu Duofu joked that he was a doctor and quickly found an excuse to escape.
Until one night two months later, when Lu Duofu was lucky, he vaguely felt that there seemed to be a channel in his body that was slowly absorbing spiritual energy. The resistance in his body suddenly became much smaller, and the pain was also greatly reduced. . Lu Duofu was overjoyed and repeated his luck. A few days later, luck was no longer hindered, and the pain was completely gone. After the spiritual energy entered the body, it moved along the passage in the body, and the whole body felt indescribably comfortable. There is no more pain, and after luck, the whole person becomes energetic. Lu Duofu was sure that the Pulseless Breath was completed.
The hard work paid off. Lu Duofu was so happy that he almost shouted out loud. The torture he had endured in the past few months had finally paid off. After being happy, Lu Duofu calmed down again and even became a little worried. Because the pulseless breath was achieved, but after all, it was just a Qi refining method, and he had no skills to practice in the future.
Without Kung Fu and just relying on Qi Refining Technique, it is not impossible to practice, but the progress is slower, but Kung Fu can greatly promote the progress of cultivation. For example, taking Wuhuang as the end point of a road, if you rely on refining qi all the way up, it is no different from crawling to the West to obtain scriptures. But if you have the skills, it is equivalent to walking, running, or even flying. The gap in the middle is obvious. Lu Duofu didn't believe that he could get ahead just by refining his qi, let alone the nonsense that after refining his qi for 100,000 years, he would become invincible.
Moreover, the exercises are not only used to accelerate the cultivation of spiritual power. Some can strengthen the body, some can cultivate spiritual power, and some have special functions, such as permanent youth, resurrecting the dead, etc. Many exercises can also be used as Use martial arts. Unfortunately, Lu Duofu has nothing now.
