The master took the ruler, then squatted on the ground, took out a piece of talisman paper and wrote on it. The character "Yin" was written on the front of the long talisman paper, and then a small circle with a tail was drawn to wrap the character. Then he drew a strange text on the bottom that looked like a spell but also looked like a talisman.
The left side of this text has a left-right structure. The left part has a "rain" on the top and a "ghost" on the bottom. However, the word "鬼" is not written in a conventional way and does not have the first stroke. So the head of "Ghost" became "Tian". The combination of "field" and "rain" above turns into "thunder". Master told me that this writing method is still borrowed from the writing method of God Head and Ghost Body, but in this way, this non-existent character has the effect of "thunder and fire suppressing ghosts". The last stroke of the character "Ghost" has a vertical hook that extends far to the right. On top of this stroke, Master wrote the character "Kun" from top to bottom. The last vertical stroke of the character "kun" extends to the last stroke of "鬼", perpendicular to it. A short horizontal line was added to make the vertical line look like a sword. On both sides of the sword, the master wrote the name of the ghost and the recorded date of death.
This is different from the talismans I have come across in the past, because the talisman is divided into three parts: the head, the gall bladder, and the foot. A seemingly complex talisman actually explains the effect of its existence simply and directly. Although this kind of left-right structure has not been seen before, it is just that when I saw it in the past, I never thought about how to use it.
Master said, this is what we need to prepare in advance before we cast the talisman. As long as you have the other person's name and date of birth and death, unless the ghost's ability is much greater than your own, it can generally be dealt with. As he spoke, the master wrote the ghost's birth date on the lower part of the talisman paper, crossed out the date with a horizontal stroke, and added a tip and a tail at both ends of the stroke. It becomes a bow and arrow that shoots through ghosts.
Then the master turned the talisman paper over again and wrote "Yang" on the back. As before, he drew a circle with a tail. This side was much simpler. He just wrote "Yang" in block letters at the bottom. The three words "Hu Shengli". Master told me that Qian is Yang, Kun is Yin, Yang is life, and Yin is death. Hu Shengli is still alive and well, so the method of suppressing ghosts has no effect on him. However, we write the people related to yin and yang on both sides of the spell, which is short-lived. After drawing the talisman, the master asked Doctor Huang to stand outside the incense ash formation to avoid any trouble and hurting anyone. Then Master asked me to sit down on the bed and relax my whole body as much as possible. I cursed in my mind how could I relax, that ghost was so fierce, my blood pressure rose just thinking about the situation just now, I was the bait at this moment, and they asked me to relax, isn't this a joke? But there was no other way. Even though I was reluctant, I sat down obediently.
The master walked to the window, turned the side of the Yang hexagram on the Luban ruler down, and slapped the three characters "Hu Shengli" on the talisman paper a few times. The interval between each stroke was about two or three seconds, and each stroke would Getting heavier. Then the master changed to the Yin hexagram and at the same time turned the charm over to the ghost side. Using a slightly faster rhythm than before, he slapped and chanted:
"The ruler in my hands is given by Gongshu Fa. Thousands of swords can't kill them all. Tens of thousands of swords can't kill them all. No evil is left in the world. Thousands of arrows pierce the heart without stopping. I respectfully invite the Six Stars of the South Dipper and the Seven Stars of the Big Dipper. I'm here to express my gratitude to the Supreme Lord. Urgent as a rule!"
The master recited this mantra three times, with the sound going from weak to strong, and the rhythm from slow to fast. After each time he recited "Emergency is like a law", he used the Luban ruler heavily on the rune on the mantra. Give it a tap. It was still raining outside, but there was no thunder or lightning. Master was standing by the window again, so after he finished reciting three paragraphs, a gust of wind blew in from the window. However, although the wind was not small, it could not blow away the dust on the window sill. Incense ash. Master winked at me and said, be careful, it is coming.
The master continued to tap the talisman with the Luban ruler, but stopped reciting it. At this moment, the unlit incense head that was leaning against the window suddenly fell towards me. After coming down and landing on the ground, the master seemed to feel something. He immediately stopped tapping the talisman with his hand, took out the remaining incense ash, and sealed the incense ash array tightly with an entrance and exit. When sealing it, Master shouted to me: Run!

I was shouting in my heart that something was wrong, so I turned around immediately, ignoring the soreness in my arm. I immediately kept my left hand purple and my right hand ready as before, but when I turned around, I found that the master was as stupid as me. Standing, there was no one in the room except the two of us.
But Master and I both understand that this ghost is in the house now. Master glared at me and cursed in a low voice, "Where has all the food you usually eat gone? You can't run away even though you are still an old woman!" I said I wanted to run out too. What happened to the old woman? She was still a ghost! The master probably didn't have time to talk nonsense with me. He half-bent, holding the talisman flat in the palm of his hand with his left hand, and holding a Luban ruler in his right hand about an inch away from the talisman. While being fully alert, he slowly moved towards me. The direction the master was looking at was the seven-star lantern in the center of the room.
So I couldn't help but look over and found that although there was a slight wind in the room at this moment, the flames of the candles did not feel like they were obviously being blown by the wind. Instead, they were burning very naturally. However, the flames of the seven candles were all the same. It was slightly tilted in one direction, and that direction was exactly the direction the master was looking at.
Soon Master moved to my side and protected me with his body. I stood behind his body and stared at the flames of the seven-star lantern with him. Master whispered to me, please pay attention to the direction of the flames. Whichever direction it points, the ghost is in that direction. I nodded and said I understood, followed Master, slowly retreated to the corner, and then stood still.

And just when this muffled sound appeared, the room began to echo with the heart-rending and painful ghostly screams. The cry was exactly the same as the one I heard when I first came here, only more miserable. The strangest thing to me is that I thought the master had put the power of the talisman into the palm of his left hand and pushed it out, but at this moment I saw the talisman seemed to be hanging in the air, flying rapidly around the ward. . As the huge echo gradually faded and disappeared in the room, everything became quiet again.
The master let out a breath and squatted down. He took out his small wooden figure from the bag and placed it in front of the seven-star lantern. As the movement in the room disappeared, the flames of the seven-star lamp lit up again, and at this moment, the flames suddenly gathered in the direction of the little wooden man.
