While writing, I moved my lips and recited silently:
"There is a green cloud on the head, three dots of gold on the left, a chariot is moving, a dragon is turning, a sword is slaying the monsters, and the sound of thunder is heard in the ears, and everyone is scared away without stopping. I follow the Supreme Lord to be as urgent as the law." There are twenty-eight taboos in total. The painting represents the twenty-eight constellations.
This taboo is an introductory skill that my master taught me when I learned Gangbu and Shoujue from my master a few years ago, and then just started learning spells.
The so-called "taboo" is one of the most important parts of Taoism. When drawing a talisman or writing a spell, if the "taboo" is not poured into it, the effect of the talisman or spell will be minimal, or even a piece of waste paper. Since ancient times, China has avoided calling important figures or emperors by their first names because of the need to "avoid taboos." In the use of spells and spells, taboos usually represent the gods, star kings, etc. that the spell invites.
The taboo I am writing on the palm of my hand is called Ziwei taboo. It is composed of three parts: the upper part is rain, the middle part is gradual, and the lower part is ear. In Taoist theory, gods, living people, and dead souls are three states, which are composed of purple taboos. Although the head is "rain", it is the upper part of "cloud", which represents the heavenly officials and gods. The lower part is combined into one character, called "軻", and its pronunciation is the same as "见" in "See".
Master once told me that people become ghosts when they die, and ghosts die when they die. People are afraid of ghosts, and ghosts are also afraid of ghosts. Most of the taboos in Taoism refer to gods above and ghosts below, called Yunjun, ghosts and ministers, which represent the two realms of yin and yang, and the user in the middle is us. This purple taboo has a wide range of uses. In addition to self-defense, it even has the function of exorcising and driving away evil spirits.
However, my master told me about Zi Wei Tao in a later chat. He told me that Zi Wei Tao has the same function in folk communication but has different interpretations. Folk masters believe that this is a life and death order, but To scare away all monsters and ghosts, the ancients were not very literate, so they often used homophones or similar words instead. Ziweibao was broken down into "Yu Jian'er", which was originally "Yu Zhan'er", which means "I will kill you" .
All in all, it is a tool that can scare all evil spirits, and is accompanied by strong aggression. It is widely used in many places. It can be said that any Taoist who can draw spells will use it most frequently in his life, that is, This simple purple is taboo.
I hold taboo in my left hand and incense in my right hand, just like holding a shield in one hand and a sword in the other. With confidence in my heart, I am not so afraid. I stepped on the threshold of the main room and jumped into the house. The vinegar bottle originally placed on the coffin has been smashed to the ground, which means that it was touched by something just now, which also proves that the frequency of ghost activities here is very powerful.
I started to check the flour I had sprinkled on the inside of the threshold. On the originally even surface, there were some thin footprints, some wearing shoes, some barefoot, and some triangular-like footprints. These are the footprints of ghosts, and they are all the first half of the soles of the feet.
When most people talk about ghosts, they always use the word "light" to describe them. This is not unreasonable, because they are very light in nature, and they form a human-like appearance through the accumulation of energy. Only the victim can directly observe it visually. For example, the child of the third child can clearly see the specific appearance of the ghost, but the third child only sees a black mist. Because they are so light, they always land on the balls of their feet when walking. In fact, it cannot be said that they are walking, but that in their consciousness, they are deliberately imitating the action of "walking" in their lifetime.
It was obvious that they had moved around after I arranged the interior and exterior of the house. During this process, they will definitely come to the door to eat the incense I put outside the door.
In this way, I can easily collect their footprints. Judging from the size and shape of the footprints, I concluded that there were four ghosts in total in this house. Two of them had no shoes, one pair of big feet and one pair of small feet. From this, it can be judged that they should be a man and a woman. There may not be a direct relationship between the two ghosts, but most of them were from poor families when they were alive, so that when they died, Not even wearing shoes. The other one is wearing shoes. Judging from the fine lines, they should be a pair of cloth shoes. After liberation, fewer and fewer people wore cloth shoes, even in rural areas. Judging from the size of the soles of the feet, it should be a male. The remaining triangle is easier to distinguish. The old society’s bad habit of binding women’s feet caused many women’s feet to develop deformities. The so-called “three-inch golden lotus” refers to this. But since these feet are bound, it first means that this is a woman, and she is a woman with a certain family background. In an ordinary small family, the daughter is not qualified to have her feet bound.
I quickly pieced together the clues I found and began to corroborate what the child had said earlier. If he guessed correctly, the "three-inch golden lotus" should be the old woman who scratched his shoulder and made bruises. The child said that she looked very sad. Most people in that era were quite sad, but if she was If you are a noble lady, there is no reason why there should be no one to carry on the legacy after your death. And the man with his chin hanging should be the barefoot man. There are only two possibilities for this kind of ghost to appear in this state, either he was like this when he died, or he has been dead for too long and has forgotten it. His appearance was such that when he wanted to appear in human form, he gave himself a nondescript appearance.
As for the ghost with a crooked face, I couldn't tell the difference based on this clue alone. However, it can still be known that it has been dead for a long time and has probably forgotten its appearance.
These ghosts all have one thing in common: they are all people who died nearby. I can basically confirm this. Most ghosts, except for those who are obviously very vengeful, generally cannot stay away from the place where they died and can only move within a certain range nearby. . This is why people often encounter ghosts in a certain place, and then more and more people encounter ghosts in this place, but never encounter the same ghost in other places.
Most of these earth-bound ghosts are so old that even their consciousness has been lost. If you lead them to salvation, they may not cooperate obediently. The only thing that drives it to move is either the obsession deep in the heart that cannot be let go, or the greed for other people's incense.
I walked forward slowly. Although the incense in my right hand was just ordinary incense, not the incense of soldiers and horses. The smoke could not guide me in the direction or lead the way. However, the smoke was still very gentle. Any slight stirring around me was enough. causing it to tremble violently. So to a certain extent, it still allows me to sense the movement around me, as well as when to strike with Zi Wei Tao and in which direction to strike.
I slowly walked to the coffin, and I insisted on opening the coffin lid that was still open. But actually this is not a good thing. One of the functions of the coffin lid is to isolate life and death. Now that the dead body has such a close connection with the outside world, I am very worried about whether this old man Wang will go smoothly. But now that I have entered the house, the only thing left is to solve the haunting problem here so that Old Man Wang can be successfully lured by the ghost on the third night. So I reached out to push the open coffin lid, intending to remove it. I closed it, but found that I couldn't push it.
I secretly thought to myself, what kind of wood is this made of? Why is it so heavy? So I leaned my body sideways and used my shoulders to push the coffin lid. It took a lot of effort to push the lid a few inches in the direction of closing. , at this time, I encountered obvious resistance, which seemed slightly elastic, as if someone was wrestling with me. We were trying hard at the same time, fighting each other for an inch and a half. At this moment, I have determined that this coffin was definitely not opened by humans, and the force that opened it is currently confronting me.
I am a person who is unwilling to admit defeat at any time, including at this moment. So I tried my best to use my shoulders to push against it, but I would always advance by half an inch and retreat by half an inch. At this time, the power on my shoulders suddenly became stronger, and the force confronting me seemed to burst out suddenly at this moment, with a fierce force. Pushing, I suddenly lost my balance, turned sideways, my cheekbone hit the ground, and fell heavily to the ground, and stars suddenly appeared in my eyes. Then there was a loud bang. I looked around in confusion and found that the lid of the coffin had been pushed to the ground in the opposite direction. The four corners of the coffin were originally placed on bricks raised on the ground. This was for convenience when lifting the coffin. Lifting, it was also because the coffin could not fall to the ground before burial, but at this moment, one of the bricks that was used to cushion the coffin was still crushed. One corner of the coffin fell to the ground, and the entire coffin was tilted and crumbling.
Hearing the noise in the house, the eldest and second eldest brother immediately rushed to the door. Seeing that a corner of my old father's coffin had fallen to the ground, and seeing me lying on my side in a miserable state, I seemed to understand something. The second child immediately took a few steps back, while the eldest child stammered and asked I, little brother, what is going on? Why is my father's coffin like this?
I stood up holding my shoulders in pain and did not answer the boss's question because I really couldn't answer it. Am I saying that I am not as good as others and let that ghost torture me?
At this time, I saw the body of Old Man Wang lying flat in the coffin, and my mind quickly connected all the weird things that had happened from last night to now. Only then did I finally understand.
