At that moment, I told a story that even I didn’t believe. Basically, I am saying that I have been weak and sickly since I was a child, so my vision is very low, and I often see some strange things. This time it was also because I was scared when I saw someone beaten to death, so I hallucinated and saw the ghost of the dead person. I was afraid that it would harm me, so I secretly went to burn some money paper for it in the middle of the night.
When I told them this story, I said that I was very unworthy and timid, which made the person who took the notes laugh. He was laughing at my ignorance. So that night, he stopped embarrassing me and ordered the other two guards to escort me back to the classroom. My back and legs were the worst hit parts, so I had to limp. When I got to the door, I asked the person taking notes, what are you going to do with me?
The man put down the pen in his hand and said to me, "It depends on your attitude towards pleading guilty. For now, it's pretty good. When the organization decides, maybe you can clean the toilets and dig out the feces." If the situation gets worse, they will be sent to a forced labor camp.
So I said nothing and followed him back to the classroom.
Two guards threw me in the classroom and closed the door. I was injured and it hurt when I moved. Fortunately, they were all external injuries. I should rest for a while and get better. When I was thrown back into the classroom, everyone present lowered their heads and did not dare to look at me. Maybe it was fear, maybe it was commonplace. Only the monk kept the sitting position when I left, watching quietly from the side. Holding me.
I have never studied Buddhism and do not understand the truth of meditation. Perhaps it was his years of practice that made him unfazed even if he encountered such injustice. That night I was awakened numerous times by the sound of doors opening, arresting people, and closing doors. When I woke up the next morning, I found that there were already a few fewer people in the classroom.
I don't want to guess where those people went, it's definitely not a good place.
In the morning, the guard at the door gave each of us half a steamed bun and told us that this was our daily ration. He brought it to his nose and smelled it, and found that the buns were already rancid. In this originally small classroom, there was a big wooden bucket in the corner. Regardless of whether men or women wanted to poop or urinate, they all had to do it there, so that the classroom was filled with a disgusting smell. There was no way I could eat half a sour steamed bun in such an environment.
At this time, the monk moved to my side and didn't say anything. He just pointed at the half steamed bun in my hand. It probably means asking me if you want to eat it, and if you don't want it, can you give it to me? I looked around and found that I wasn't the only one who didn't eat the steamed buns. Why did this monk choose to come to me alone? Without thinking much at the moment, he handed the bun to the monk with a smile.
The monk saluted and thanked him, but still moved back to his previous position without saying a word, eating the steamed buns in silence.
It turns out that by the afternoon, I was still too hungry and began to regret giving the steamed buns to a monk I didn’t know. During the day, the guards pushed in a few more people. They were all declared guilty for various reasons. They were waiting here to be tortured, confess their crimes, and then be punished. In the evening, the guards arrested a few more people from the classroom. Although they were far away, I still heard the screams of those people. Although I didn’t know what crimes these people had committed, or whether they were really guilty, I still felt very angry at the time.
So I put my hands behind my back and leaned against the wall, planning to summon my troops and make some noise to scare these bullies. Most of the communication between me and the soldiers and horses relies on the thoughts in my heart, but rampant soldiers are rampant soldiers after all, and they cannot really punish evil people. Moreover, some people are even afraid of ghosts when they become evil. But it was strange that day. I released the soldiers and horses and ordered them to punish those who were violent. However, the soldiers and horses came back very quickly after being released, and they never even left the classroom.
Although I am not proficient in military and horse skills, this situation is unprecedented, which means that my soldiers and horses do not obey my orders. When I was looking puzzled, I suddenly saw the monk looking at me with a meaningful look, and then slowly shaking his head.
I was surprised. Could it be that this monk noticed that I quietly and secretly used my soldiers and horses? If he could even detect when I deployed troops, he must be a master in the industry, and he wouldn't be locked in the same room with me by chance. I couldn't convince myself to believe it, so I cast it again, but this time, I kept secretly watching the monk's expression.
My soldiers and horses came back quickly. The monk shook his head slightly, which probably meant to say, don't try again, it's useless. Could it be that my soldiers and horses are not obeying the command, and is it this monk who is hindering me? So I stopped trying, recovered my soldiers and horses, and then slowly moved to sit next to the monk, and asked him softly, who is the master who I haven't asked the master yet.
I didn't explain it clearly because I still had some doubts. The monk answered me softly and said, "The little monk's name is not worth mentioning, but this little benefactor, you just sent out the six realms of sentient beings, which is very inappropriate. There are still so many innocent suffering people here, although I will cause chaos when I find you." Enemy, but it is easy to accidentally injure good people.
His words almost admitted that my soldiers and horses were unable to escape just now because of his actions. The monk's accent was from another province, because when he was imprisoned, he was already injured. Since he has the ability to suppress my troops, he is by no means as simple as an ordinary monk. So I told him that at least most of the people here were arrested without making any mistakes. I felt dissatisfied, so I let the troops take action. You and I are both the ones who are suffering, so why should the master have trouble with me here? ?
The monk smiled and said, I have no quarrel with the little benefactor. It’s just that the little monk studied Buddhism when he was young and knew that all living beings are equal. The injustice I encountered today is the result of others not treating all sentient beings well. If the little benefactor insists on his own way, the little monk will It can't stop you, but if you do this, the evil thoughts in your heart will become deeper and deeper. Judging from the craftsmanship of the young benefactor, although it can be retracted and released freely, it still lacks the fire. This is the act of helping all living beings to transcend, so why should they allow all living beings to add sinful karma.
What the monk said sounded very reasonable. He was talking about a simple question of when to repay grievances. It’s just that I can’t avenge myself personally, so I can only use soldiers and horses. But in this way, the rampant soldiers who were originally here to eliminate hostility and accumulate virtue and do good deeds will be replaced. Because of my hatred, I added new sins, which delayed my time for death.
The monk continued to say that although these people outside are vicious, they are actually being controlled. They are like the sentient beings you just released, and are being used by the person behind them. If you do the same thing, then you will become the truly guilty person, and these sentient beings who are attached to you will become the same accomplices and executioners as the people outside.
The monk's words were concise and concise, and I immediately gave up the idea of using soldiers and horses to retaliate. But there was one thing I didn't understand, so I asked the monk, what the master taught was, but the master is a Buddhist, how did you notice my Taoist military and horse skills? The monk smiled and said, which made the little donor laugh. I have the habit of chanting sutras, and my words are silent but my heart is clear. Buddhist scriptures can resonate with all sentient beings. When they are affected and then rebound, I can feel it from my heart. If you hadn't released sentient beings at this time, or if I hadn't recited sutras just now, maybe you would have actually done it.
I suddenly felt a sense of shame. From the first day I came in, I saw the monk hanging a feudal sign. I thought it was because the current atmosphere was not good and most religious people were implicated. The monk didn't pay much attention, but what he said at this moment made me realize that this very inexplicable coincidence allowed a stranger to warn me in a timely manner.
I wanted to stand up and thank the monk, but he held my shoulders. He shook his head and said, "It's a trivial matter. It's insignificant. It's very rare for the little donor to have such an ability at such a young age. Don't even think about it for a moment in the future." He did something evil. Although it was pleasant to achieve temporary pleasure, he paid a higher price for it, so why bother to do it.
That night, the monk and I chatted softly for a long time. During that time, I learned that he had been entrusted by his master to come to a temple here as a supervisor. But just a few days ago, a group of people smashed up the temple, pushed down the Bodhisattva, and drove out all the monks in the temple. As my master said, monks are forced to return to secular life and eat meat. If they refuse, they will be arrested and convicted.
The monk said that the young monk can tolerate other things, but smashing Buddha statues and demolishing temples will cause the Buddha's body to bleed. This is the crime of the five rebellions. The young monk only needs to stick to his own beliefs. This group of people will be handed over to the Buddha. Given time, the reward will definitely be revealed.
