Chapter 62: Belly Viper
The King Cobra was very proud. He felt that as long as he bit Chu Ye, he would surely be poisoned and would soon make Chu Ye faint on the ground.
But what the King Cobra didn't expect was that even if it bit Chu Ye, Chu Ye was still fine and nothing happened at all.
'Hey, what's going on? Didn't I bite this little lion? How come there is nothing wrong with it. 'King Cobra just couldn't figure it out.
But Chu Ye doesn't care whether the King Cobra can understand it in his heart, he is starting to bite the King Cobra anyway.
Originally, this king cobra thought that as long as it bit Chu Ye, it would kill Chu Ye. But after it bit Chu Ye, Chu Ye didn't react at all, as if it hadn't been bitten.
Now, this king cobra was very puzzled.
But for Chu Ye, no matter what your King Cobra thinks, he is going to eat this King Cobra anyway.
So, Chu Ye started biting this king cobra. But for this king cobra, it felt like it shouldn't be unable to defeat Chu Ye. Chu Ye should have been so frightened when he saw him that he ran away quickly.
But when this king cobra competed with Chu Ye, it realized that Chu Ye turned out to be a very awesome little lion.
'Holy shit, I met a magical little lion today! This little lion is not afraid of my venom, it's really weird. '
For this King Cobra, it couldn't figure out why Chu Ye wasn't afraid of its venom. This was a very abnormal thing.
But no matter what King Cobra thinks, it can't beat Chu Ye now.
'No, I'd better run away quickly! This kid in front of me is too powerful, I can't beat him. '
King Cobra saw that he could not defeat Chu Ye. Chu Ye didn't care about its venom at all. This made the King Cobra feel that it had to run away quickly. If he didn't run away quickly, Chu Ye would definitely be killed.
So, this king cobra wants to escape now.
But how could Chu Ye let it escape!
'Hmph, you still want to run away, then what should I have for breakfast this morning! '
Chu Ye saw that the King Cobra was trying to escape, so he immediately chased after it.
When the king cobra saw that Chu Ye wanted to chase it, it hurriedly burrowed into a patch of grass.
But how could Chu Ye let it escape. So, he immediately bit the King Cobra's tail.
The King Cobra still tried its best to burrow into the grass, but how could Chu Ye let it go? He still bit the King Cobra very hard.
Although the King Cobra wanted to escape, how could its strength be as strong as Chu Ye's? Chu Ye bit its tail hard and quickly pulled the king cobra out of the grass.
When the king cobra felt that Chu Ye was pulling him out of the grass, it turned back and bit Chu Ye's neck.
But Chu Ye didn't care at all. No matter how this king cobra bit him, he didn't have to worry about anything.
Because the venom in this king cobra has been almost used up, even if it bites Chu Ye now, it can no longer inject venom into Chu Ye's body.
Chu Ye didn't care about the King Cobra's attack at all. After he saw the King Cobra bite his neck, he let go of the King Cobra's tail, and then bit the King Cobra's neck again.
This time the King Cobra was doomed. Chu Ye just bit off the King Cobra's neck with just a little force. The king cobra died quickly.
So Chu Ye started to have breakfast. Chu Ye's breakfast is this big spicy strip. He now began to taste what this big spicy stick tasted like.
This cobra is more than three meters long and its body is as thick as an egg. For Chu Ye, this is a very hearty breakfast, and it can be a full meal.
Chu Ye was now devouring it and quickly finished the big spicy stick.
After eating the spicy strips, Chu Ye felt full of strength. He was walking in the grass, just to see if he would encounter another venomous snake.
After all, walking in the grass is easy to encounter some venomous snakes. For other little lions, if they see a venomous snake, they will be scared away. But for Chu Ye, not only would he not run away when he saw the venomous snake, on the contrary, it would take the initiative to attack and regard the venomous snake as its prey. Then kill the poisonous snakes for food.
'I'm full. Otherwise, I'll bring back a venomous snake to the other lion cubs so that they can taste the snake meat. '
Chu Ye cares very much about the lion group he belongs to. Although he is still a little lion, it is good that he can take care of himself.
But after Chu Ye had eaten his fill, he still thought about other little lions. He just wanted to catch another venomous snake and take it back to give the other little lions a taste.
So, Chu Ye searched in the grass again, trying to find another venomous snake.
Originally, Chu Ye thought that this poisonous snake was not so easy to find. Although he had encountered a poisonous snake just now, it was just a matter of luck.
Now he also wants to meet a venomous snake, but I'm afraid it won't be that easy.
But what Chu Ye didn't expect was that just after it walked a few dozen meters forward, it encountered another venomous snake.
'Haha, there are so many venomous snakes in this grass! 'Chu Ye saw another poisonous snake appearing in front of him.
This venomous snake is not a cobra, but another venomous snake. It is a venomous snake that is very common in Africa. This venomous snake is the viper.
The belled viper, also known as the belled viper, commonly known as the belled viper, is a venomous viper, known as the most common venomous snake in Africa, and can be found almost throughout Africa. The reproduction method is ovoviviparous and has a strong reproductive capacity.
It is 1 meter long on average and very stout. It likes to live in grasslands. It usually appears at night. It moves quickly and is highly aggressive. Lives in the savannas and grasslands of Africa from Morocco and Western Arabia throughout the Sahara desert and rainforest areas.
Due to their wide distribution, frequent appearance, large size, strong venom and tendency to bite, they cause more fatalities than other African venomous snakes. Two subspecies are currently known.
The average length of an adult viper is 1 meter long and very strong. The largest specimen was 1.9 meters long, weighed over 6 kilograms, and had a circumference of 40 centimeters. Specimens in Saudi Arabia are smaller, generally shorter than 80 centimeters.
Males are generally larger than females and have longer tails. The head of the bell viper is slightly triangular, thick and rounded, and is thicker than the neck. The scales on the mouth are small. There are 10-16 scales in the eye sockets, and 7-11 interocular scales on the top of the head.
There are 3-4 scales separating the eyes to the upper lip, while the upper lip and lower lip have 13-17 scales. 3-4 scales on the lower lip are connected to the chin.
Each jawbone has two fangs, both of which are functional. There are 29-41 rows of dorsal scales on the body of the bell viper. Except for the outermost row, the others are obviously angular.
There are about 123-127 scales on the abdomen and 14-38 scales on the lower tail. Female snakes have less than 24 scales on the lower tail. The anus has only one scale. The color of the belled viper varies depending on geographical location. There are two obvious deep lines on the head, one on the crown and the other between the eyes. There are two dark diagonal lines on both sides of the head, extending from the eyes to the upper lip. The bottom of the head is white-yellow with scattered spots.
Eye color ranges from gold to silver gray. The body color ranges from straw yellow to light brown, orange or reddish brown. There are 18-22 dark brown to black markings on the surface extending to the tail.
These markings are generally in the shape of a mountain, almost U-shaped in some places, and there are 2-6 criss-crossing patterns on the tail; some groups even have brown and black spots, covering up other colors on the body, making it It only has a rusty brown or black appearance.
The abdomen is yellow or white with some sparse dark spots. The head of the young snake has golden markings; the scales extending to both sides of the abdomen are pink to red.
Generally speaking, the appearance of the belled viper is dull, but in the East African Plateau and the Cape Province of South Africa, it has bright yellow and black markings.
The belled viper is arguably the most common venomous snake in Africa. They range from most of sub-Saharan Africa to the Cape of Good Hope. They are also found in the Arabian Peninsula, including southwestern Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The belled viper is not found in some rainforest areas, such as coastal West Africa and central Africa. They are not found from the Mediterranean coast to North Africa. In the Arabian Peninsula, the northernmost occurrence is at Taif. Also found in Dhofar in southern Oman.
The belled viper can be found in all habitats except deserts and rainforests, and they usually appear in rocky grasslands.
Belly vipers generally rely on camouflage to protect themselves. Their movements are mainly linear, using their wider abdominal scales and their weight to expand and contract like caterpillars.
When harassed, it can revert to normal snake movement, which is walking at incredible speeds. Although the belled viper is a terrestrial creature, the belled viper will make loud and continuous sounds, adopt a tightly coiled posture, and its upper body is S-shaped. At the same time, they retreat to find cover.
They may suddenly attack at high speed, return to a protective stance, and prepare to attack again. Their attacks are powerful, and their fangs are often inserted so deeply that physical attacks alone can kill their prey.
Their attacks can penetrate soft leather. The viper's attack range can be up to one-third of its body length.
Young snakes will lean their entire body forward when attacking. They rarely entangle their prey, but quickly release it and return to their attack stance.
The belled viper is mainly found at night and rarely takes the initiative to roost. Most of them lie in wait for prey to appear. Their prey includes mammals, birds, amphibians and lizards.
When Chu Ye saw the venomous snake in front of him, it became a little nervous. After all, this is a very powerful venomous snake.
