For its first 19 levels, The Fisherman is nothing to write home about. Low growth, useless abilities like breathing twice underwater, a fish animal companion. However, most civilized countries strictly regulate this class, and fishermen are often seen killed. Only a destructive lunatic would want to take it to the extreme.
Because once they're capped at level 20, [Fisherman] gets a broken Pe
k!
Victor could only marvel when he saw it in action. He estimated that Magmel housed at least a thousand sea serpents; these large colonies congregated in ports and on ships, sometimes escaping out to sea. The ancestors created an army from scratch.
[Little Leviathan] is roughly as strong as a level 20 warrior. While dangerous, personally, no Victor, Kia, or Crested Adventurer is a match.
When facing thousands of people…
Worse, while this shift won't last forever, Pe
k does not give the monster any control. Magmel's [Fisherman] Pe
k, the [Aquarist], protected him from most aquatic creatures, as Victor himself was protected from the [Undead] and [Slime], but a group of sea serpents slaughtered his fairy hounds. These things will eat everything in the city, leaving no survivors.
"Golinich, turn your rain into a thunderstorm," Victor said, spreading his wings and jumping up from his back. "Kia Motors is now in charge."
"Do you want to fight snakes on the ground?" asked the knight, while Margo Mel used magic to summon swarms of insects and buried herself under a pile of worms and maggots. "There are too many of them!"
"I can handle them," he replied. "Just take care of Mag Mel."
The vizier inspected his belongings, including the items he had stolen from Ornub and several bags of diamond powder hidden in his armor, and then, before Kya could protest, removed Golenich's back. Jumped down.
Following his master's orders, Zmey changed the weather, turning the faint rain that usually followed him into a rattling squall.
Go
y
ych's Storm Dragon Passive Pe
k turns the weather into [thunderstorm]! (Lightning) and [Wind attacks will be strengthened, and [Fire attacks will be weakened!
It's nowhere near as powerful as Wotan's Tempest, but it will do, Zime. That'll be fine.
Victor flew to the pier and carpet-bombed it with [Black Fire], burning the walkway along the water's edge and starting the war. The scales of dozens of sea snakes were scorched, and the wind only exacerbated the spread of the fire. Within seconds, a wall of flames stood between the port and the city.
The furious snake responded by targeting him, leaping across the water to try to pull him down. Victor used his scythe to defend himself and cut off an animal's head. In an instant, the corpse turns to dust, the beast's soul is captured, and its life energy is drained.
Skill check successful! Heavy hit!
As he descended into his own flames to fight the ground, dozens of [Critical Strike] messages flooded Victor's vision, each swing of the scythe a fatal blow. "[Pact with the Devil]," the Prime Minister said, transforming into his demonic form. His armor adapted to his new shape, transforming him into a powerful armored giant covered in evil fire.
Unfortunately, the rampaging creature did not return to the sea. They came in waves, forcing him to stay on the offensive lest he be swarmed. His vision became a blur: fish being butchered; so much blood being shed, so much ashes being thrown everywhere that the flames threatened to go out.
Meanwhile, Golenich and his knights carpet-bombed Meg Mel's ship with fire and lightning; the monster transformed himself into a gigantic monstrosity, a hive of millions of maggots, It took on the shape of a human being. The giant swarm tried to pin the dragon down, but Kia blasted its "face" off with a magical sun. The paladin rode Zime so skillfully that he turned him into a flying killing machine, making the vizier jealous.
"[Contagious Lightning]," Victor used one of the "deadly" spells Kia told him, raising his scythe and aiming it at the nearest sea serpent. A bolt of crimson lightning, driven by a thunderstorm, shot from the blade, pierced the creature, and jumped to its three closest companions.
Blow!
Not bad, but unreliable.
Unlike Winkle, though, Victor's reserves are so great that in order to perform to the best of his ability, he has to pace himself. His scythe's life drain ability allows him to ignore healing, but he risks burning SP if he only uses offensive spells.
However, he could finally relax.
"[Nightmare Kingdom]." Victor said loudly when he realized that he had kept enough distance between himself and his allies. "[Charon's Grim Harvest]."
The combination of both attacks is noteworthy.
Reality twisted around him, a strange, horrifying dimension overlapping the port. A purple mist filled the area, carrying screaming ghosts with it. A Hell's Mouth forms on the burning pavement, flanked by yellow ghostly eyes and skull columns.
The field changes to [Nightmare Realm].
Meanwhile, illusory scythes float around Victor, shredding sea serpents like butter. With their bullshit charm, the beasts are also unable to resist field effects; enduring increasingly severe ailments.
(The little beast is being drained by...]; You passively recover HP and SP.
"The funny thing is, if you're immune to damage from your own area of effect, go crazy!" Victor sliced the sea snake left and right with relish. As his SP is automatically replenished and he maintains the effect of [Charon's Grim Harvest], the mental scythe becomes more numerous and dangerous. The souls they harvest fill the vizier's scythe, imbuing their master with necromantic energy.
In fact, he recovers HP faster than monsters can damage him. Victor considered calling Noise and Chocolat for help, but neither could survive the current battlefield conditions. His Demonic Summons ignore fire, but not the effects of [Nightmare Realm] and Flying Scythe.
All in all, he could handle it on his own.
"[Piercing Blizzard]."
A howling blizzard rolled in, extinguishing the flames on Victor's body, smoldering his scorching armor, and throwing him backwards. Despite his weak magical protection, the attack was successful.
You received super [Frost] damage! You lost half of your HP!
[Troll Reply]Activate!
Victor quickly stood up and looked at the source of the attack. A sea snake with scales made of wood that are harder than steel.
His [Monster Insight] identified the creature as a transformed Magmel.
Victor glanced at the worm giant who was fighting his allies. This bastard must have used a [Druid] spell like [Animal Shapeshift] to make Kia and Go
y
ych went to catch a bait. "Even now, even if you've reached forty levels and become as powerful as Vankel... you're still afraid of her."
This sentence hit me where it hurts. "Magmel is not afraid of mortals!" hissed the snake.
"You were really hiding under a pile of maggots instead of fighting Kia!" Victor mocked him, casting a spell on himself. "Frost immunity."
You get [frost for ten minutes.
"[Command animals]," Magmel said gruffly. Hearing these words, the little whale's eyes flashed red. They no longer ran rampant as before, but glared at Victor with unified wisdom.
"I hate munchkins," Victor thought, realizing why the fairy was taking a [druid] level.
"[Accelerating Tide]," the actor quickly flung out again in the form of a snake, a wall of water rising from the dock and engulfing the entire sidewalk. As the water lapped at the vizier and dragged him toward the city, the monster changed his shape from a sea serpent to a huge shark.
Mag Mel rides the wind and waves, and under the cover of the sea snake, tries to bite Victor in half. These beasts were not a horde of beasts, but acted like a coordinated unit, attacking the Chief of Staff from all sides.
Fortunately, with the (free movement brooch) Onub "gave" him, the vizier's reaction was faster. He swung his scythe and struck the transformed druid in the head.
When he did so, however, the scales unleashed a powerful sonic blast that drove Victor out of the water and fought off Magmel's own snake.
Congratulations! You have obtained the [Sonic Scale] monster privilege!
[Scale]: You can grow a layer of singing scales; when they are physically attacked, the scales will resonate, releasing a powerful sonic burst; this is a [Wind] damage effect. You are not immune to [Sonic Scale] damage.
When Victor finally landed, it landed in a flooded park near the port. Waves uprooted cherry trees, created ponds in the grass, and turned the area into a swamp. Thankfully, though, the attack did more damage to Magmel's summons than Victor himself.
Mag Mel emerged from the pond, restored to his former self now that they were safely away from Chia's own battlefield. "(Enhance Disi

"Emergency teleportation!" Victor activated another of Oknu's items before the deadly spell hit him.
The thing teleported him directly to his room in the palace, where Henry was busy placing the things Victor had ordered before today. When he saw a huge demon teleporting next to him, he screamed, having never seen a minister in this shape before.
"Afterwards, Henry!" Victor grabbed the potion, raised his helmet, and drank it in one gulp in front of the frightened human.
You regain all HP and SP! Vitality increases by two stages, lasting half an hour! You are no longer exhausted!
He then used the [Ring of Emergency Teleportation] to return to the park, before his area of effect spell could take over the bedroom. What he stole has a limited number of charges, but works well.
Victor appears behind the confused Magmel, raising his scythe to deliver a fatal blow. He might have done so if one sea serpent hadn't screamed a warning and lunged at his face; another moved forward to act as a shield.
"[Magnetic Field: Repulsion]." An invisible force pushed Victor back, knocking back his armor and scythe. The minister regained his footing but found himself on the defensive. The creature cutting down the druid occupied all his attention. The farmer then used this opportunity to buff himself further, adding another thick layer of wooden scales to his body. "Ironwood skin."
Magmel's victory was short-lived, however, when a ghostly scythe skirted his protection and struck him in the chest. Following its caster, [Nightmare Kingdom] begins to warp the battlefield into its shape, helping Victor deal with the enemy's summons.
"[Spirit Guard]," Magmel strengthened himself, the scythe rebounding against his skin, then cast a spell to increase the size and strength of his snake, "[Fangs], [Monster Growth]."
The sea snakes grew twice as large as before, and their sharp teeth turned purple and oozed acid. Although Victor's incredible speed and reflexes kept him dodging, he found himself overwhelmed; every time he tried to target snakes with his spell, one of them would get between his scythe and its owner move.
"You're too weak," Magmel rasped, commanding his monsters while standing safely among their elite guards. "I have studied you, Victor Dalton. You are the weakest link, the cornerstone. I am the man behind the dragon, just as I am the man behind King Bara'ur. Your death will Weakening Vaquir’s.”
Victor would have tactfully retorted if he hadn't been fighting the behemoth.
"You are powerful, but our ancestors are magic themselves. We are soulless forces; without the power to grow, we will never evolve. You humans grow without power, weak, but with unlimited potential. And now, you potential will not be realized. (A

t). "
You can't teleport anymore!
"Wait, you know magic?" Something suddenly came to Victor's mind. "powe
sto
es…”
"The fossilized remains of my dead brothers," Magmel answered, admiring the spectacle of his summons uniting against a lone target. "They are rightfully ours."
"I suppose you won't tell me why you need these?" Victor asked, for he liked to hear himself talk.
"My daughter needs them for her arrows," Magmel grunted contemptuously. "Her foolish belief in this 'technology' will be her undoing. Only magic reigns supreme. This cursed system, this weapon foolishly exploited by the dice against us, is the only thing you animals can challenge Our things. But now, I..."
Magmel cast a spell that doubled his size until he was as big as Vankel. This time, he decided to join the fight himself.
"I am infinite power!"
Tuition took him on a journey to power. good. "I think you're forgetting something. Three things actually."
"I have forgotten more than you will ever learn, mortal," the old man replied with the utmost arrogance, raising his centipede-like arm to strike. His blow missed the Prime Minister and had no intention of landing: the magnetic field surrounding the Prime Minister instead pushed him into the waiting snake's maw. "You are slaves to the system; you react to it and I direct it. I optimize it. I create the most powerful class combination in the world."
"Well here's a lesson on tactics: First, never fight the Necromancer by throwing more bodies at him. (Rea
imato
). "Victor activated his sorcery, draining his reserves of diamond dust while using the souls trapped in his scythe as material.
Three massive, ghostly hydras composed of the souls of dozens of sea serpents surrounded Victor, their ghostly wails repelling their living relatives. The sea serpents attempted to crush and bite the undead, but were eventually driven back.
Ahhh, he gets it! Although snakes are powerful, they have no magical attack power against invisible targets! However, his [Ghost Hydra] tears apart the animals and hunts them through the park, forcing them away from their masters.
"It's just you and me now," Victor said to the angry homeless man, pushing the summons aside. The Fairy tried to crush Death with a rain of conjured boulders, but the Chief of Staff was faster. "Well, mostly you and me. [Victor's Skeleton Sentinels]."
Five floating skulls appear around Victor, firing energy beams at the giant monster. After successfully reducing the park to rubble, Magmael opened his mouth and unleashed a mouthful of poisonous black goo upon Victor and his undead servants. Two melted, and the vizier barely dodged. Splashes of slime hit his armor, seeping from cracks and burning the skin beneath.
You took serious [poison] damage! The health check was successful! You avoided being corrupted! You lost half your HP!
You gain [Bad Breath] and [Corrosive Poison] monster perks.
[Bad Breath]: 90 SP. You can breathe a cone of toxic slime that inflicts a heavy [poison] on those who come into contact; all persons exposed to the toxic slime must pass a hard Vitality roll or be poisoned.
[Corrosive Poison]: Passive. You use [Corruption] disease when you should inflict [Poisoned] status on someone. [Corrosion] functions the same as [Poison], but can affect people with [Poison] resistance and immunity: poison immunity is treated as poison resistance, and standard poison resistance is ignored.
A perfect career combination of powerful natural abilities, a sharp tactical mind, and survival instincts honed over centuries. Magmel is an ancient monster and nearly invulnerable. The more Victor thinks about his enemy, the more he realizes that he will only let his guard down on one occasion.
When he feels he has won.
"[Darkest Fear]," the ex-demon casts a horrific spell on Victor, possibly hoping his poison would kill him instantly when his HP drops to 1. A deadly combination.
The Prime Minister felt the darkness of magic's claws cutting into his soul, and collapsed in the mud. He was silent and looked dead while dispelling the effects of his scythe and fields.
"Know your place, mortal," said the old soldier cheerfully, blinded by the thought of perfect victory. "You (claimed) never deserved it."
Victor held his breath.
"Dissipate (the magnetic field)." McGonagall said, making a fatal mistake. His centipede arm closes in on Victor's body and finally captures his trophy. "Now, what I want to do with this half-dragon vessel..."
"(accelerate)."
Your actions and reactions will be twice as fast as normal.
Before Mag Mel could react, Victor accidentally chopped off his centipede hand; the blade sliced through his reinforced skin.
The predecessor let out a scream of agony, and the Prime Minister quickly stood up before reactivating [Nightmare Realm] and [Charon's Grim Harvest]. "You should have gone to school," said the Prime Minister, covered in his predecessor's green, acidic blood. "You lack vision and that's disappointing."
"Dark Fear!" Mag Mel tried his tried-and-true tactic again, perhaps thinking he just didn't succeed the first time.
Dark magic spreads through the divine connection between Victor and the deity who chose his own soul, dealing him a heavy blow. The perfect weapon against [claims], refined over centuries.
Using his connection to the Black Chalice, Victor turned his attack against his artifact, deadly magic sliding across his soul like water on a windshield.
"No way," Magmel said in utter shock, then let out a hiss. The minister's scythe pierced his chest, but the fairy seemed to have no organs to speak of.
"Second." Victor raised his scythe, preparing to strike again because his magnetic field no longer protected him. "If you guys kept sending him the same spell, you'd think someone would figure out a way to fight back. I don't know how long it took you to design that [Deepest Fear] spell, but it only took me seven years That’s it!”
"[iron-"
"Contagious Lightning!"
His lightning struck the chest-soaked skull, struck the three remaining floating skulls, and then converged on the fairy. The huge electric current surging inside the beast turned him into a living neon light.
Blow!
"[Mag
-a
gh!" Victor kept slashing at the monster, not giving him any time to concentrate on his spell. He chopped off the legs of one insect after another, moving so fast that the fairy had no time to dodge or retaliate.
He learned this from Ahenapepe. Never give a powerful spellcaster room to breathe.
"Do you want to know why your people always lose?" When Mag Mel tried to take off, the minister cut off one of his wings and grounded him. "It's not because of the education system, it's not because we have the best curriculum, and it's not because you lack soul. It's because you keep underestimating us, over and over again, over and over again!"
Magmel was covered in blood and he imitated his own son playing the flute; he tried to escape. "[Swarm Walker]," he croaked, immediately transforming into a swarm of insects.
Victor won't accept this. "[Blackfire]," he said, incinerating the swarm before it could spread and escape. Fire spreads among the maggots and beetles, and the [Nightmare Realm] sucks them away. Within seconds, the fairy was forced to change, this time being brought back to his normal height.
Now desperate, Magmel opens a portal and tries to crawl through, with Victor chasing after him. The desperate fairy came within an inch of the door...
"Solar Judgment."
A beam of light fell on Magmel, burning the grass around him to cinders and causing him to collapse. Gorinich covered the wounded fairy from above, its now knight-errant preparing another spell.
But this time, Victor won't let anyone else take the credit.
"Third," the minister raised his scythe, "having a soul is not always a good thing!"
The fairy looked at the blade and finally realized that everything was lost. "It doesn't matter," he declared, arrogant to the end. "My work continues."
With these words Death declared what he deserved.
With one swing of his scythe, Magmel was decapitated, and the portal disappeared with his life.
As the blade fell, smeared with the thick green blood of the ogre, a screaming, bloody shadow emerged from Magmel's corpse; an unnatural, Frankenstein-like figure The soul monster, a patchwork ghost. Victor couldn't even describe it properly as it moved inside his scythe.
With these new additions, countless souls coalesced within the Scythe, transforming it. Its magic burned in Victor's hands, reshaping it. The pole became twisted black wood, covered in whispering faces, and the blade disappeared, replaced by an insubstantial edge.
Congratulations! By consuming Magmel's artificial soul, your scythe became an artifact [Harvest]!

Kia chanted his name on it with her sword, making Victo
Feel warm inside.
Victor put the scythe on his shoulder and prepared to help Winkle, when he noticed new wings appearing in the sky. His first thought was of Wotan's Valkyries, especially when he noticed their feathered wings.
Unfortunately, they're far less pleasant to look at.
"Liar!" There were thirty angels hovering above him, and they all looked unhappy. "We have answered your cry for help, demon!"
His phone calls? Wait, are these the calls he made to the resurrected angel over a week ago? Or was it cup time?
…
Are they here now?
Victor facepalm refers.
"Public Service".
