After writing it all throughout July, this book finally opens a new chapter.
To be honest, it actually means collecting money.
This book is the first one I signed, commonly known as my debut novel. What is a debut novel is its sense of youthfulness and freshness, and the sense of youthfulness often occupies the vast majority of it.
Of course, it is undeniable that some great writers can become gods in one book, but I am far from reaching that level. People need to be self-aware.
This book is still in its infancy, both in terms of writing and plot.
When it comes to writing skills, when I signed the contract, I just had the mentality of practicing writing. After all, it was not a full-time job. I could only use various fragmented time to improve myself, from compositions when I was a student, to papers when I was in college, and then when I was working. From official documents to online documents, this transition definitely requires time to work hard. And I obviously have to continue to hone it.
Speaking of the plot, this is also the reason why I want to write a historical article. There are too many rich characters and too many interesting stories recorded in the history books. These rich contents are enough to enrich an online article, and I, obviously, still have it. It can't be integrated well.
Therefore, if you question my writing techniques or writing style, feel free to comment. Life is not easy, but please do not resort to personal attacks or deliberately taunt me. It’s okay to troll books, but not people.
Next, you will be charged. After giving you a few cents, you can come anytime if you want to scold me. You are welcome.
. . . . . .
As for those who question the historical content, I have to explain it clearly.
Having said that, I have to mention that the reason for writing this book is also thanks to my old father at home. He is also a history lover. The book "The Romance of the Southern Tang Dynasty" (written by Zhu Zhongyu) published in 1985 is collected at home. ), which can be regarded as my earliest enlightenment on the history of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. Unfortunately, it has long been ruined.
But "The Romance of the Southern Tang Dynasty" is not official history after all, so in the writing process of this book, the historical allusions used were ultimately based on the "Book of the Southern Tang Dynasty" (written by Lu You) that I read in college, taking into account the "New History of the Five Dynasties" (Compiled by Ouyang Xiu et al.).
Although we strive to be true, there will inevitably be omissions, which may occasionally cause controversy among book friends. I only apologize here.
However, the views of some book friends do not only refer to a certain person. They may have stereotyped impressions from reading books, watching TV dramas, or even watching marketing accounts, and they are puzzled by some real historical records. In fact, now that the Internet is so developed, many historical books can be found, but these book friends have not looked for them. (not malicious)
So it really bothers me when I see some comments that question some real history, and they are comments that are constantly making excuses. Some book friends may have noticed that in some of the previous chapters, I added notes at the end of the paragraphs. The habit is to prevent this kind of thing from happening. But if you use it too much, it becomes like hydrology.
Here's an example:
The military system of the Southern Tang Dynasty. Some book friends have asked countless times, why did the male protagonist become a military commander so quickly? In other words, why did Jiedushi become so powerful? Some people also mentioned that the emperor always gave the surrendered general in the article to the Jiedushi, or dared to put him into the imperial army guarding the imperial city?
In fact, is Jiedushi powerful? It's awesome. As we all know, the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty was not caused by the Jiedu Envoys? The glory of Jiedushi lasted until the fifth generation.
But Southern Tang was really different. The military system of the Southern Tang Dynasty was almost the most complete among the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. There was a little bit of private goods mixed in here. When I say the most complete, I mean the maintenance of imperial power.
It is simply a template for the military system of the Song Dynasty.
The Privy Council of the Southern Tang Dynasty directly separated the power of commanding troops from the power of dispatching troops. They also liked to dispatch supervisory troops in important battles. They also stationed almost all the forbidden troops in various parts of the country. These leading officers of the forbidden troops stationed in local places were called garrison envoys. It undoubtedly acted as a powerful check and balance on the local governor and military envoys.
The Jiedushi of the Southern Tang Dynasty actually only had state soldiers under his command, such as Shouzhou in the latest chapter. Shouzhou City was the seat of the Qinghuai Jiedushi. In fact, it was also called the Qinghuai Army Jiedushi, and the Qinghuai Army was the state soldiers. , and there is also a forbidden army stationed in Shouzhou, the right wing of the Holy Guard Army.
In terms of combat effectiveness and equipment, the local army cannot compare with the Forbidden Army.
Of course, there are exceptions. Generals who particularly reassure the emperor can hold the titles of Jiedushi and Imperial Guard at the same time. But as long as you are in the Southern Tang Kingdom, there are forbidden troops everywhere. If you dare to rebel, you will die if you try.
Unless you can do something special in the capital, it is suspected of being a spoiler, so I won’t mention it.
From the founding of the Southern Tang Dynasty to its demise, except for the newly occupied territories of other countries (such as Fujian and Chu), the possibility of a successful rebellion by the local Jiedu envoys was almost zero, and there were almost no records in historical records. This is also thanks to the contribution of Tang Liezu.
The long-term political stability of the Southern Tang Dynasty was closely related to this military layout.
In the troubled times of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the difficulty of awarding Jiedu envoys was actually much easier than in the Tang Dynasty. Due to the reform of the military system in the Southern Tang Dynasty, it was not difficult to obtain anyone who had key military exploits and won the favor of the emperor, whether it was a military envoy or a senior official of the imperial army.
Bian Hao was the one who established the alliance during the First World War. He was not the chief general when he fought in Fujian before, and was given the title of governor.
Another example is Huangfu Jixun, who was young, established a dynasty in the First World War, and served as the commander-in-chief of the imperial army. He was soon promoted to a position similar to the "Commander-in-Chief of Capital and City Defense" in the Southern Tang Dynasty. Although he was the descendant of martyrs, and with the invasion of the later Zhou Dynasty, he was still very weak. Outrageous.
The demoted generals Lao Peng and Li Jinquan written in the article are true history. I did not even change their positions. Whenever the demoted generals came, they were almost always a Jiedu envoy and a inspector, or at least a governor of a large state.
Speaking of the protagonist Li Yuan, why did he choose to build the festival in Langzhou? As mentioned earlier, within the territory of the Southern Tang Dynasty, there was almost no accumulation of strength for rebellion. Only in areas that the Southern Tang Dynasty could not completely control could there be hope. Langzhou was the newly occupied Chu land, and the history books met the center of the Wuping separatist regime. , great location.
Bian Hao originally established the festival in Changsha. Emperor Li Jing almost gave all the military and political power to control the entire Hunan. Unfortunately, this old boy did not cherish it and became a local emperor. He could not control his subordinates and was eventually defeated by Liu Yan of Langzhou and the rebels. Shui's subordinates attacked him from both inside and outside, and finally ran away in despair within a year.
The above content can be found in a large number of historical materials in "Book of the Southern Tang Dynasty", "History of the Five Dynasties", "Nine Kingdoms", and "Zi Zhi Tong Jian".
. . . . . .
Okay, without further ado, it will be put on the shelves this afternoon. I will work hard to maintain the update speed and continuously improve the update quality.
The update time may not be stable sometimes. Due to work reasons, a good meeting often turns into a tea party for no apparent reason. For example, sometimes when epidemic prevention work requires it, it may take half a day to hold a meeting.
But no matter how late it is, there will be at least two updates. If it is too late on the same day, it will be made up at 1 o'clock the next day. If there is time, additional updates will be made appropriately.
In short, I am very grateful to all the book friends who have read, commented, and rewarded the book from the beginning until now, whether they like it, dislike it, know it, or don't know it.
Thanks.
Again, the dream has just begun, and this book will not eunuch.
