Moreover, the arrangement is too oppressive and unable to cope with some emergency internal situations, such as when a fire suddenly needs to be put out. Overcrowded aisles will greatly increase safety risks.

In order to set aside a large enough medical area, the maximum capacity of the Flying Fortress can only be set to 120 people. A few extra beds can be set up for temporary personnel. In the combat area, some floor mats can be stored for the victims, but they cannot be used for combat. .

120 people, which is a standard company-level unit with four platoons and directly subordinate teams such as the cooking class and logistics class.

This scale can activate the fortress's full shooting capabilities in a short period of time, but the continuous combat time it can sustain is limited.

If the plan to strengthen the company doesn't work, we can only take another path and coordinate with multiple fortresses.

If two forts move together, there is no need to open all combat windows in the direction they are facing. Just a few can look after each other. The biggest advantage of the Flying Fortress is actually its load capacity.

Due to the huge amount of armor plates, the total weight of the empty fortress is 9710 tons!

The 15 mm projectile of the Python III is still too heavy. Including food, water, extra parts, etc., a standard five-day deployment fortress combat unit is probably less than 200 tons, which is a huge margin from the 400 tons required by the military.

The role of armored units on the magic battlefield is relatively limited. Due to the problem of magic power reserves, they cannot cope with continuous magic bombings, and their movement ability is not better than magic units and beast-shaped enemies.

But it at least allows our own warriors to avoid facing magical attacks directly and at the same time provides battlefield mobility, so it is not completely useless.

The combination of fixed fortresses and mobile forces can make up for their respective shortcomings to a limited extent. What is more troublesome is the rest space. If it is not possible, it can only occupy a little space in the combat area and separate a certain rest area.

However, armored units do not need large soldiers, which brings the possibility of balancing space and purpose.

The advantage of large soldiers is their strong combat effectiveness. Even if they are directly hit by three-ring single-target magic, their survival rate is higher.

Combat armored vehicles do not take into account the close combat and survivability of soldiers, because when the armor is broken, it is difficult for the people inside to survive, so using normal-sized soldiers will not significantly change the combat effectiveness of the armored unit.

The floor height of the combat area is close to five meters. A room with a floor height of just over two meters is hoisted from the ceiling. There is still enough space for soldiers to pass underneath.
