Refined oil has better low-temperature resistance than a mixture of alcohol and water, but the risk of fire and explosion is greater.
The point is that the total liquid volume of this set of pipelines is a bit large, and the refined oil is too expensive, so it should be based on water so that it can be used later.
In fact, if you want to make it simpler, it would be easier for each city to build its own cooling system and connect the hot liquid to the heat dissipation pipes. The construction period and cost will be reduced a lot.
However, Wang Qi is relatively wild. He has follow-up plans and needs to locate the cooling station in the center of the three cities.

This kind of large water pipe can only be cast by centrifugal casting. Centrifugal casting of small parts has been realized in automobile factories, but it is not the same as water pipes. There is no mold inside when the water pipe is cast. Instead, the centrifugal casting is completed, and then smaller parts are inserted. The cold piece cools the inner surface and demolds.
In addition, in order to ensure that the temperature does not flow randomly in non-ice forest areas, the outer surface of the cast iron pipe cannot be made too smooth to provide sufficient adhesion for the cement layer, which also requires special technology.
Even if it is built, it still has to be transported to the construction site. This part alone is a task that is difficult to complete in other areas.
