After reading the comments, I found that there are quite a few book friends who use Crimson Eyes to read the book. Fatty is worried that if he doesn’t explain it further, if there are more characters and team relationships later on, there will be people who can’t even identify friend or foe, so I would like to explain.
Let me ask you a few questions and you can think about it. If you don’t understand, it’s best to slow down your reading speed.
1. Book friends know that the characters in the first two chapters are cannibal gangsters. Does the protagonist know that?
Is it possible that during times of famine, someone would resort to cannibalism as a last resort?
This kind of words should have appeared more than once in the book, mostly in the form of the protagonist's thoughts. You can think that [the protagonist tacitly assumes that most of the survivors have eaten human flesh]. He is not a forensic doctor and cannot determine the cause of death of a dead person, so he will not be motivated to kill simply because of human flesh.
2. The line of incoherence has been laid out for a long time. In the first two chapters, I even directly wrote "I didn't understand". So where did the murderous intention come from before seeing the [human skull]?
Capital theft? No chance to compensate for the loss? Does the protagonist look that much like a murderous demon? Why doesn’t Fatty remember giving the protagonist this kind of position?
To put it more bluntly, what stimulates the protagonist to get angry and actually take action is the behavior of "using human skulls as decorations". It has little to do with the previous petty theft and verbal provocation. Accumulate emotions.
3. A human being, at least deep down in his heart, thinks that he is a human being. Is his volitional behavior completely unaffected by the environment and time?
I commend some book friends here. Some people noticed that the protagonist's behavior and mentality were abnormal. This was because the protagonist would "float" for a while as his abilities were enhanced. (Spoilers?)
4. The protagonist's first kill, if the imagination isn't graphic enough, to put it bluntly, it can't even be called a crush, it's just a slight wave. In reality, would people want to kill a group of bugs protesting against them? Even when the bugs have curled up, do they still have to crush them all to death? Wouldn't it be cowardly not to step on someone's feet?
After getting the answers to the above four questions, if you still feel that it is poisonous, walk slowly without sending it away. You can find a lot of books on this website that treat people like gourds. Maybe our fate has not yet arrived.
PS: Finally, as usual, I would like to thank you all for your support in a single chapter, especially some old book friends. Thank you for not criticizing Fatty for writing these unsociable books for many years.
The update speed of Fatty is obvious to all old book friends. It is quite fast. I will try my best to ensure that this book will be updated twice within a month after it is put on the shelves. Depending on the development of the situation, the book will be completed.
There is only one chapter later today, it will be posted at noon, so there is no need to wait at night.
