The update has been interrupted for three days, ah, no, it’s because I haven’t updated very well in the past month or two. I would like to say sorry to my book friends. It is mainly due to my own and work reasons.
Years ago, due to the outbreak of the epidemic, Xia Ke did not even return home. It was the first time in his life that he spent the Spring Festival outside. During the period before and after the Chinese New Year, Xia Ke was very scared, because the city was already in a storm, and everyone’s biggest wish was to survive!
Those days were very difficult. What I did most every day was to read the news and look at the epidemic figures, but I had no time to think about things. Without being in the game, it is really difficult to experience the fear and helplessness.
Then the epidemic broke out, and then the epidemic stabilized. About February 3, the company's management started to work. Of course, they could only work from home. They held several meetings every day, and the assigned tasks were no better than when they worked in the company. There are few tasks. Because this year's epidemic has been a devastating blow to small and medium-sized enterprises. At that time, our biggest wish was to keep the company alive.
Our company's previous business direction was mainly Internet of Things software and hardware. All the products were developed a year ago, and we also received several large orders. However, due to this year's situation, those orders were basically shelved or simply canceled because of the Internet of Things. All orders in this regard need to be discussed and implemented offline, so in early February, we planned to lead the company's people to transform the business and develop some projects that can make money online. At that time, we aimed at the direction of small programs.
After a few days of market research, we felt that there was indeed a market for this thing and it could make money (mainly because this thing is not as dependent on offline things as Internet of Things projects), so we decided to gather other employees who were still at home and start working Work hard on your sleeves, work together and code at home. Since our team had no experience in developing small programs before, everyone was learning as they went. I, an engineer who writes embedded programs, became a product manager, doing things like product framework, page design, jump logic, requirements documents, etc. I have never been exposed to things before, and I started to learn and sell them now.
Alas, at that time, everyone understood the current situation of the company and the difficult environment this year. Everyone was working hard to complete the product as soon as possible. I was the first to start doing it, plus preliminary market research and sorting out. Requirements, writing requirements documents, until all our small programs were completed later, I didn't take a break for five weeks, and I was basically busy until 11 or 12 o'clock every day (of course, there were some other projects mixed in, which is considered a moment) No one has time to spare), and other comrades basically didn’t take a break for more than three months. In the end, our group went from knowing nothing about small programs to finally completing small programs in just over a month ( In fact, the time to write the code is less than three weeks), which can be regarded as extremely fast.
In mid-to-late March, our mini program product was released, and I, the product manager, began to work with other managers of the company to promote the market. Our first product was a catering mini program, so we contacted some catering merchants. As a result, a very serious problem was discovered, that is, this year’s epidemic has caused heavy losses to the catering industry. Many restaurants have not opened at the end of March. They cannot make money, let alone spend money to buy mini programs... Alas, I was so worried at that time.
Then the house leaked and it rained all night. A while ago, our boss (who usually has a good relationship with me) told me some bad news, saying that our company’s investors were going to withdraw their capital. Because of this year’s situation, our investors were asked to do it themselves. The Ontology company has also suffered heavy losses. He wants to cut off some businesses that are not very profitable and reduce expenses. Then our branch will face the fate of disbanding...
Alas, to be honest, I have quite a lot of affection for this company and everyone in the company. Otherwise, I wouldn’t work so hard (Xia Ke does not work so hard because of money), but I am alone. The power is too small to influence the overall situation. In the end, we can only watch our team being disbanded!
I was busy cleaning up the company's turmoil in the past few days, so I stopped updating for three days in a row. I will make adjustments later and try to stabilize the update as much as possible!
I'm so sorry!
