Thank you all for your continued support. It is because of your support that this book will finally be on the shelves.

Very suddenly, I received a notice from the editor-in-chief, saying that if I didn’t put this book on the shelves, I would miss a lot of opportunities.

To be honest, I'm confused too.

People who have read my previous works should know that I write books basically out of personal interest. Because there are some uneasy things in my mind, I write them down and share them with everyone. Therefore, my previous works are completely free and I never sign a contract.

This is the first book I have signed a contract for. I don’t understand many rules and many things. So now that it is on the shelves so suddenly, I feel a little uneasy. I am afraid that people will scold me for not telling me in advance.

It's a good thing that it's on the shelves, but it's the first time for me... I don't know what it will look like after it's on the shelves, and I don't know if it will be sold out.

Hmm...most likely it will.

Well, forget it, it’s all your own choices, I admit it.

Next, I want to tell you something about this book.

Thank you all for your collection, recommendation votes and monthly votes. This is what I want to say the most.

I didn't sign contracts when writing books before, so these didn't matter to me, but this book is different. I stare at these things almost every day.

Although I still haven’t figured out what these things are used for, but watching these things grow, I feel that what I wrote has been recognized by others.

Great sense of accomplishment.

By the way, I have read every comment you have written. Whether it is good or... well, there are no bad comments.

Everyone is still very nice to me, and no one scolds me. Even if they have objections, they are basically well-spoken and considered within the scope of mutual discussion.

This is quite happy.

However, there are a few things in it that I still want to talk about.

First of all, it’s about the background setting of this book.

For this book, I chose alternate history...a world mixed with romance lines and historical lines.

Regarding this point, a book friend’s comment was very accurate, which is exactly what I thought.

The historical line is too flat. An important battle often ends in just a few words, and the writing is too dry. Everyone is familiar with the story line, and there are too many people who have written it, so there is no way to come up with new ideas. No matter how the writing changes, you can still find traces of it from other authors.

So I was thinking, if there is a world mixed with romance lines and historical lines, which makes you feel familiar and strange at the same time, as if you have the ability to foresee things, but there always seem to be some differences... maybe it is also the case. A way of thinking.

But no matter how the plot develops, in terms of character, I always try to describe it according to historical facts... In fact, I don't like to read novels that treat famous ministers and generals who have left their names in history as idiots.

The history book is very big, big enough to hold five thousand years.

The history book is very small, too small to contain the name of an ordinary person.

Those who can leave their names in history, even if they are treacherous ministers, have their own abilities and their own brains... Well, except for people like Sima Zhong, they are born to occupy high positions. Although they also have brains, they really not much.

After talking about the background setting, let’s talk about the protagonist’s problem.

The protagonist is not a hero.

When I read novels in the past, I always said that the protagonist had more than a thousand years of knowledge, and then the protagonist defeated all kinds of heroes in ancient times... Let’s not talk about whether these heroes are idiots, I have been thinking about it. , do you really have more than a thousand years of knowledge in your head? !

There is indeed an explosion of information in modern society, but a lot of information is superficial. You know that something can be done, but without checking Baidu, how many people can know what it should do? !

Although people who look for a sense of reality in novels may have a problem, I tried my best to write as realistically as possible.

The protagonist is not a perfect person. He has his own flaws. It is impossible to expect that the soul of a modern society can quickly accept the troubled times, an era where human life is at stake. Some are timid, some hesitant, and some are kind and kind that do not conform to the values of this era. Being cowardly is understandable.

I will slowly adjust the character of the protagonist in the future, so please be patient.

Finally, let’s talk about rhythm.

I admit, the early pace was very slow.

My original idea was to lay some groundwork in the early stage to let everyone know that this world is not just a historical line or a romance line. Although many things have the same outcome, the process is completely different... But I didn't expect to write Hey, if you talk too much, there will be less plot to advance the plot, and the pace will be a bit slow.

It’s really not the word count of water...at least it’s not the word count of water that is subjective and intentional.

I will try my best to change this, and will speed up some plots later, and try not to beep as much as possible.

As for some of the details you mentioned that are not in line with historical facts, I admit that some of these are indeed due to my lax research, but some... are due to my procrastination in writing the book, and I left it too late to make everyone vomit. Oops.

Finally, I can’t help but want to say a few words about the Yuanyang Formation.

After Qi Jiguang was transferred to the post of Commander-in-Chief of Jizhen, facing the Mongolian combat characteristics, he improved the Yuanyang Formation, added firearms, used a large number of muskets and tiger cannons, and added improved versions of Wugang vehicles. It's a sidecar.

He did not completely abandon the Yuanyang Formation, nor was it unsuitable for fighting in the north.

Langzhen soldiers, Changpai soldiers, and pike soldiers are still retained. The idea of joint operations with multiple arms has not changed. It has nothing to do with whether Qi Shaobao fights in the south or the north.

A few years ago, the Koreans made a documentary-type TV series "The Imjin Japanese Rebellion", which talked about the Korean War during the Three Great Conquests of Wanli.

Koreans, everyone knows what virtue is, so this drama's description of the Ming Dynasty army is very tangled. They are basically busy fighting with the Koreans and so on, and the military achievements are basically passed by.

But only firearms and the Yuanyang Formation were described in a frontal shot, specifically describing the combat methods of the Yuanyang Formation and the role of firearms. At that time, the Qi Army had moved to Jiliao, and Qi Jiguang had been dead for four years. Well, the leader of Qi's army is Wu Weizhong.

Therefore, the Yuanyang Formation is still preserved in the north, but Qi Jiguang made changes based on the combat characteristics of the north. It does not mean that Qi Jiguang will not use the Yuanyang Formation in the north.

If you are complaining that Zhang Xi's Yuanyang Formation will have weak combat effectiveness due to the problem of firearm ratio, it may not be the opponent of Cao Jun's cavalry, or even the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry. I admit, the writing is indeed a bit amazing... ...But the Yuanyang Formation itself has no problem.

Okay, that’s about it. Thank you all again for your support. I really appreciate it.

Although I have been writing books for some years, my writing style is really not that good, just at the level of an amateur. I admit this. When it comes to writing, most of it is for self-satisfaction, and I agree with this.

Thank you all for being tolerant of reading what I write, and I hope you will support me after it is published. Your support is my motivation to continue writing.

Whether it’s the sense of accomplishment or Brother Kong Fang.

All in all, in a nutshell, thank you all for your support.

Thanks.
