When I finished writing this volume, I couldn’t describe how I felt. In the past, when I finished writing, I would always breathe a sigh of relief and have the illusion that a large chunk of the burden in my heart had been removed. But now it has become a feeling of feeling like I have lost something. The feeling of enlightenment.
I think maybe it’s because the book has entered the second half and I don’t want to look directly at it.
This volume can be regarded as a turning volume in the general framework. It can be regarded that the biggest twists and turns in Liu Bei's life have been passed. The next step is to get back on track and move towards the road of unification.
But this does not mean that their next journey will be smooth sailing. Although people may like to laugh at me and say that I like to mess around with nothing, but this is how people and life are, and life is tormenting people.
For me personally, I feel like life is torturing me now, so I just add my impressions of life into the text.
However, I am generally satisfied with the writing of this volume. Although there are still some things worthy of revision, the battles described are not purely plagiarized from history, but based on the terrain, strategic situation, and combat characteristics of both sides. I have added some points that I think are quite satisfactory, and in hindsight I think it is quite appropriate. The biggest regret is that there are too many characters. With limited pen and ink, some deletions must be made. Which ones are worth keeping? I have been thinking about them. question, and then I decided to focus every plot left on
On the points of "death, dignity, dreams, self, life". If I hope everyone sees something from my book, what I hope everyone sees is respect.
People are silent and slow. They dare not communicate. They think highly of themselves and despise others. Their souls are lonely and their lives are lonely. In this great land, I hope I can write about the ordinary and extraordinary aspects of each of them, so that everyone can feel the tenacity, fragility and elusiveness of the human soul.
Unconsciously, eighteen years have passed in the book. What I have always said is that the content in my book will probably end when Chen Chong is seventy years old.
So, next, some important and unimportant characters will begin to exit, and some new characters will also appear. I can spoil it in advance by saying that Liu Bei will definitely not be able to survive the last volume, and Cao Cao will probably not be able to survive the third volume. After the book is rolled up, what will the final situation look like? I can only say that it will definitely be unified.
Of course, what is very embarrassing is that last time I said I wanted to restore an update, but I found that I still couldn't do it.
When I try to put the fate of the characters on the tip of my pen, I unconsciously start to hesitate, consider, and reflect on whether this arrangement is good?
This resulted in me writing more and more, instead of getting faster, I started to slow down. I can only say that if you write smoothly, you can write more; if you write slowly, you can only maintain this speed.
