Hello everyone, actually as I write this, one of the most important plots in the book has come to an end for the time being, and the story of "Ji Han Zhangwu" will also begin a new stage.
In fact, when I wrote the summary three volumes ago and said that I was going to write this plot, I was very conflicted in my heart. Compared with the direction of this plot, it was not only a matter of not writing it, but I was more worried about whether I could write it. Integrate my expressions with the characters, because this is related to the success or failure of the core of the entire book, and it is also related to whether my original design intention is still under my control.
But I am still very happy. Generally speaking, although there are many unsatisfactory aspects, they are generally within my control.
The inspiration for this plot comes from the Battle of Shayuan between Gao Huan and Yu Wentai. In fact, anyone who has read the history of the Southern and Northern Dynasties should have seen it. The assassination of Yuan Shao is a replica of the assassination of He Bayue, the establishment of the Jiuwu Kingdom is the Eight Pillar Kingdom of the Guanlong Group, and the Battle of Bohai Sea is the reform of the Battle of Shayuan. Every time I watch the Battle of Shayuan, I find it unbelievable. History has proven that Gao Huan and Yu Wentai are only on par with each other, but yet a shocking reversal occurred, with 10,000 people defeating 200,000 people. This makes me feel very uneasy and makes me feel that history is very incredible.
But being grudged does not mean that it can be written directly into the book. Why should Liu Bei lose this battle? There must be sufficient internal logic to convince myself and the readers.
In fact, a new question arises: How do I view Liu Bei, and how do I view Cao Cao. This also involves my original intention. My original intention of writing this book was to try to create a Liu Bei that I understood in a completely different world, and that everyone could see at a glance that this was Liu Bei's Liu Bei.
In my opinion, Liu Bei's characteristics are very strange. He is obviously proud and inferior, but he is also very deep in the city. He does not show these easily. He just imitates the laughter and curses of Emperor Gaozu. He longed for the various deeds of Emperor Gaozu and tried his best to hypnotize himself that he was Emperor Gaozu, but in his heart he believed that such deeds were unrealistic. Therefore, although he was generous, generous, and courteous to virtuous people, he did not have the true calmness of his ancestor Liu Bang, but had a little more Stocks are impatient. That's why he was so surprised when he learned that Kong Rong asked him for help, saying: "Does Kong Beihai know again that Liu Bei is evil in the world?" He also thought that after capturing Xuzhou, he saw Cao Cao leading his army and thought there was no chance of winning. , he abandoned his wife and children and fled to Yuan Shao. Of course, the most important manifestation of Liu Bei is his adventure in Yiling, in which he divided his troops on land and water in his eagerness for quick success, which led to the annihilation of the entire army.
So I always feel that this impatience will definitely lead to Liu Bei's failure, but fortunately he can be unyielding and persist forever, so he can still stand on three pillars. So I think it's good to put Liu Bei's impatience at this time. When he is closest to success, his mood must be the most uneasy and irrational. This kind of treatment also solved my other two worries at the same time, how to embody Liu Bei's perseverance, and how to embody Cao Cao's talent and character.
So this design was conceived before I even started writing.
As for the melee plot in Kansai, the core design is actually Jia Xu. His poison, his slipperiness, as well as his own obscure positioning of himself in this era, as well as his vague ideals, ultimately led to him being the best wherever he goes. Becoming the eye of the storm, I applied what he did to Cao Cao on a larger scale, but this is not the end of his life. Jia Xu's life will still encounter some twists and turns.
As for the protagonist Chen Chong, this is one of several important turning points in his life, and it is far from the last turning point. Many people may say that I am cruel, but as the person who loves this character the most, I actually want to be nice to him, but this also involves my expression of love, which cannot be compromised. That is to say, when history comes, life is In this way, this is the real gravity of life on earth, and it cannot be solved with passion and pure ideals. Many online works remove the gravity of reality in exchange for a light dream, but I don’t like it and look down on it. I always believe that only by facing the gravity of reality and the price of victory can victory become so precious and cherished. .
Of course, so I also know that if I write according to this concept, the results of this book are destined to be dismal. This is the price. I will not complain, so I have always said that this book is a gift to myself. If more than one reader reads this, it is a gift from God to me, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone.
Here, by the way, I also want to answer a question. Many people think that Chen Chong's writing does not look like a time traveler. In fact, he is a very authentic time traveler and a great master of liberal arts. Why do many readers think he doesn't? In fact, it's because he is more humane than other time-travelers and treats people more as human beings.
Here I am actually conveying a concept. People should not regard history as everything about a person, nor solidify the stereotype of a person. If a person forgets his memory and lives another life, it will be difficult to live the same life in two lives. Many people make one decision or one less decision, which is enough to change a person's life. Maybe the same decision is made one day earlier or one day later, and the result will be completely different. Just like Cao Cao made a decision during the Battle of Chibi, what if he had pursued Liu Bei two months earlier? Liu Bei didn't even have time to breathe, let alone join forces with Soochow. What if he fought two months later? Even if he were defeated, Jingzhou's rear would be stable, and the defeat would not be a big blow. Only if he made that mistake at that point in time would it have such a big impact.
So from this perspective, we cannot judge that something that has not been done yet will definitely happen. Chen Chong also really tried his best to treat these historical figures as living people, rather than as historical puppets to determine their fate. So under this concept, I tried my best to make the historical line run wild, and at the same time restore the character of the characters under this runaway plot, and then advance the plot. This is my personal historical philosophy, and I don’t expect everyone to accept it, but I will not change it.
The last thing I want to say is that everyone should take care of themselves during the epidemic. After the epidemic was released, many of my friends said it was very uncomfortable, but I haven’t had it yet. But I still want to take three days off, because I still need to sort out the subsequent plot. After all, it is completely divorced from the historical line. Many stories have to be guessed by myself. I wrote this story as another historical deduction.
Finally, I comfort myself as usual. I hope that when I finish writing, everyone can still be by my side. go to study
