When Tian Gang and Mo Sen were eating in the restaurant, their colors and auras were opposite.
Logically speaking, Tian Gang is wearing a bright color (I forgot whether it was a green jacket or a cyan jacket). Such a color is more conspicuous and prominent in a street shop, and will guide the audience's attention to Tian Gang.
Mawson wears dark colors. His black (or gray) plaid shirt is the most common style. It looks very inconspicuous, if it weren't for the lighter hair and his frighteningly white skin color. , Moson's overall visual appearance is in a gray state, which is in line with his temperament as a social loser.
In other common works, there is an 80% chance that the person wearing bright-colored clothes is the protagonist. This is easy to understand. The green is a miserable green, which seems to merge with the darkness indistinguishably between you and me, but it is incompatible with the pure dark tones, and has a strange and weird sense of existence.
I haven’t done much research on color tones and lighting. I personally think that the benchmark for hazy yellow is Tian Gang and Qiu Xue’s warm daily colors. The light used by this young couple when they are in love or working is very natural and comfortable. Overall, it is warm and occasionally warm. A bit ambiguous warm color. However, switching to the scenes of Mawson and the female white-collar worker, Mawson and the staff, etc., although the picture is also orange and yellow, it is more or less dim, which is obviously a hint of the atmosphere.
As for the miserable green, this one is so classic. The whole forest on a rainy night is this quiet and scary miserable green, so green that it turns black. What a coincidence, the scene where Mo Sen is following the female white-collar worker is also this kind of sinister green on the screen.
Obviously the light at the subway entrance is not of this color. I heard that Director He used natural light when shooting. I really don’t know how he managed to capture it.
