Master Kongchan has been a monk since he was a child, and his Buddhist teachings have been deeply integrated into his words and deeds.
Although I knew in my heart that what the deaf mother-in-law said and did was consistent with the cycle of cause and effect, she still couldn't help but speak and said to the evil ghosts:
"Namo Amitabha."
"The sea of suffering is endless, so why don't all the donors put down their butcher's knives and become Buddhas right away!"
When the deaf mother-in-law saw how pedantic Master Kongchan was, she was so angry that she laughed instead.
"Old monk, if you want to accept everyone in Buddhism, aren't you afraid that it will eventually become a place of evil and evil?!"
"Okay, if that's the case, I'll help you, old lady!"
After speaking, the old man raised his hand and removed the restrictions around the incense table.
Thousands of evil spirits immediately stopped fighting and stared at the old monk Kong Chan with their scarlet eyes.
The look in his eyes was like that of an old bachelor whose whole body was sour and smelly, who saw a beautiful woman bathing in the wild;
It's like a widow who has been alone in her empty house for decades in the dead of night. Suddenly a strong man falls into her bed.
Readers can experience that kind of enthusiasm and anticipation for themselves.
When Chang Baye saw this scene, he was so frightened that he immediately put the frozen instant noodle pot on his head as a helmet.
He rolled up his tail again and placed Hua Jiunan, Chen Daji and others behind the deaf mother-in-law, while he hid at the back of the crowd.
Only a big head was exposed, staring at the group of ghosts vigilantly, ready to run away at any time.
A group of ghosts swarmed towards Master Kongchan.
"Old monk, you just said you would save us from becoming Buddhas and end our suffering, why don't you do it quickly!"
"Hurry up, hurry up! If you dare to break your promise and get fat, we will definitely skin you and eat your flesh and blood in one bite!"
Master Kong Chan faced many evil ghosts. Instead of being afraid, he was solemnly reciting the name of the Buddha.
"Namo Amitabha!"
"As long as all the donors sincerely repent and let go of everything, they can enter my Buddhism."
"From now on, there will be no more worries, and we will go straight to the Pure Land, the Western Paradise!"
The ghosts looked ferocious and slowly approached step by step.
In the blink of an eye, he was less than one meter away from Master Kongchan.
Everyone shouted desperately and scrambled to get the old monk to be enlightened.
Some showed their fierce looks and threatened:
"Old monk, don't talk nonsense, I have already repented!"
"The smelly monk can just stand and talk without pain in his back. Do you know what kind of pain I have experienced over the past hundreds of years!"
"Hurry up and save me first, I really can't stand it anymore!"
Some pretended to be pitiful and burst into tears:
"Master, please save me first."
"Back then, my husband had a hidden illness and couldn't have sex, so I secretly communicated with other men."
"The killing of my husband was all done by that man, and the slave family really didn't know anything about it."
"Master, if you can save me, I will depend on you no matter what you ask me to do."
After the female ghost finished speaking, she showed a coquettish look on her face.
Master Kong Chan, who was originally full of compassion and dedicated to helping these evil spirits, was inevitably disheartened when he saw this scene.
"Namo Amitabha."
"Buddha delivers those who are destined to be together, but it seems that all the donors still have no connection with my Buddhist sect..."
"Old monk, how dare you play tricks on us!?!"
When the ghosts heard this, they immediately went into a panic and rushed towards Master Kongchan with howls and strange screams.
He looked like that and wanted to eat him alive.
Only four of them were truly repentant and stood still without moving.
The deaf mother-in-law looked at the four ghosts, nodded secretly, stretched out her hand and pulled them to her side.
The four ghosts happened to be one each of "male, female, old and young".
Their expressions of surprise were beyond words, and they suddenly knelt on the ground, kowtowing loudly.
"Thank you to the old god for showing mercy. Thank you to the old god for showing mercy!"
The deaf mother-in-law sighed softly: "No one is a saint, and no one can have no mistakes. If you can correct your mistakes, there is no greater good!"
"After you four help collect the evil spirits tonight, you can enjoy incense at the entrance of the old woman's hall."
After hearing this, the four ghosts became even more ecstatic and did not say anything. They just kept kowtowing.
On the other side, Master Kong Chan seemed to turn a blind eye to the group of ghosts showing their ferocious appearance.
He sat cross-legged, took out the wooden fish, put it on his knees and tapped it softly.
