"Then if you have a clear conscience throughout your life, but have no achievements, will you hesitate for a moment, junior?"
Qin Nanyi frowned.
It's not that she thinks Nan Yi's character should have flaws.
But if there is not even half of the hesitation that an ordinary person should have, and he is completely confident in his speech, and his character is like a born Taoist, it will only make Qin Nanyi subconsciously doubt - in the words of Nan Yi's previous life, he feels extremely Not scientific.
As for monks' cultivation, sometimes it can actually be understood as being more sincere.
Due to the misunderstanding caused by the talent of "Dongzhen" reaching the Xuan level, Qin Nanyi was surprised that Nan Yi had an unreasonable character like a born Taoist, but when he looked at it more seriously, his Taoist heart actually fluctuated slightly.
With just a little imagination, she could foresee the scene where Nan Yi would easily overtake her in her Taoist realm.
She murmured in her heart: "How can it be reasonable to have the spiritual root of innate perfection and the mind of an innate Taoist disciple?"
Nan Yi was a bit hard to get off the tiger.
The "Holy Mirror" and his "Dongzhen" talent are both low-grade Xuan level. Because the talent of "Dongzhen" does not allow lies, and the "mirror of sincerity" does not allow the authenticity of Nan Yi's words to be judged, under the conflict of rules, it can only be judged that what Nan Yi said is completely true.
But in the evaluation of his character, it was completely true, but it seemed a little too much, causing Qin Nanyi to mistakenly think that he was a born Taoist.
It's just that now that things have come to this, Nan Yi can't get off the tiger, so he has no choice but to adopt the posture of a natural Taoist.
He said leisurely: "If you say you can't achieve anything for a while, or it's due to luck, or it's due to circumstances, it's all possible. But you can't achieve anything in your life. After thinking about it, it's just that your talent is limited."
"I, Nan Yi, have always acted with a clear conscience throughout my life. When it comes to talent, although I dare not say how strong it is, I will never achieve anything."
"So, senior sister, please forgive me for asking this question because it is difficult for me to answer."
Qin Nanyi's face remained as usual, and he couldn't help but think: "I haven't seen any hesitation from this guy so far. He is very confident and almost arrogant. If I continue to ask, I'm afraid I won't be able to find out anything."
She thought for a few breaths and then raised the topic: "Now that I have worshiped Wuxiang and will be successful in my practice in the future, will I be able to protect the interests of the academy?"
"It's natural."
"What if the college's interests conflict with your personal interests?"
Nan Yi raised his eyebrows.
This kind of heart-wrenching question would not be asked normally. But his answers so far were not even half-hearted, forcing Qin Nanyi to become more and more cunning the more he asked.
Nan Yi didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but he still said loudly with a normal expression:
"If you have conflicting interests, it depends on public and private matters. If it is for the justice of the academy and out of fairness, it can be discussed; but if it is for someone's personal gain and you have to give in, there is no need to discuss it, and everyone will compete with each other based on their own means. I think , Dangtang Academy will not force students to harm themselves and others, right?"
Qin Nanyi looked directly at Nan Yi: "The Academy will not be like this, but if one day, I pluck a hair and benefit the Academy, what is the purpose?"
Nan Yi chuckled: "This matter all depends on my intention. If I have the intention to do it, I will do it without others asking. If I don't have this intention, don't say that I will pluck a hair to benefit the academy, it will be a hair. Even if it benefits the world, even if there are tens of thousands of people, I will not pull it out."
"This boy has a firm mind and a superb spirit. He really has the grace of a born Taoist."
Qin Nanyi's eyes flickered and he continued to ask:
"Plucking out a hair and benefiting the world is not a good thing. Then, taking a hair and damaging the world is a good thing?"
Nan Yi thought for a while and then replied: "When we fight on a narrow road, whoever gains something will inevitably lose something. The loss is mine? If others compete with me, how can they not fight?"
"Therefore, what you say about taking a cent, if it is stealing, I will not do it; if it is fighting for it, even if everyone in the world competes with me, I will not be afraid. As for who wins and who loses, each will rely on his own means."
Nan Yi's answer after thinking was very convincing.
Qin Nanyi listened and found that there was no falsehood at all, which was equivalent to Nan Yi's confidence in himself, which was not shaken at all.
For a moment, she was silent, not even knowing what else to ask.
"Even when competing with people in the world, he said it confidently. His words were full of indifference. It was taken for granted and there was no hesitation at all."
"This kid is really terrifying."
In the darkness, Qin Nanyi relied on his eyesight and stared deeply at Nan Yi.
"Is this what it means to be a born Taoist?"
There was a hint of curiosity in her eyes.
"So, how would you answer the last question?"
Qin Nanyi opened her red lips lightly and stopped thinking about the problem. Instead, following the usual practice of asking questions, she began to say in a semi-introduction manner:
"Most people in the world have heard about the practice of cultivation and don't know the truth. They only know that there are magical powers and immortality. But in fact, there are many wrong paths to practice. One wrong step may lead to eternal disaster."
"You have spiritual roots, and it's not bad that you awakened by chance and have innate supernatural powers. If it were anyone else, if the innate spiritual roots were not perfect, in the first step of entering Taoism and cultivating, when the source Qi is introduced into the body, there is a high possibility of being exposed. shoot."
Originally, if an ordinary person came to ask questions, after talking about the probability of sudden death, Qin Nanyi could still ask if there was any hesitation.
But Nan Yi's awakening of his innate supernatural powers was equivalent to half a foot on the road, and there was no risk of sudden death, so Qin Nanyi had no choice but to ignore this question.
"And after practicing, it may not be as beautiful as you imagined. There are precepts and taboos in the practice of all magic techniques, and they cannot be violated easily."
"These commandments and taboos are also called calamities and disasters, which means that after disobeying them, there will be heavy consequences."
"In addition, there are evil thoughts and demonic obstacles that interfere with people's hearts. If you are a little negligent and lack self-examination, you may be blinded by the evil thoughts and demonic obstacles, and fall into the devil's path."
"There are even more gods and monsters harming the world. We, the monks, need to slay the monsters, slay the monsters, and fight with their wits. If one day the chess piece is wrong, it may be the end of the body and the soul."
"In other words, if you enter Taoism and practice in order to seek longevity, you may die young and die earlier than ordinary people."
"Junior Nan Yi, after knowing this, do you still want to insist on practicing Taoism?"
Qin Nanyi looked deeply at Nan Yi. She wanted to know how the born Taoist would answer.
As for Nan Yi, after quietly listening to Qin Nanyi's introduction, he was also thinking about how Tian Tian Daozi should answer.
He thought for a while and was not in a hurry to answer. Instead, he asked with great interest: "Are there any numbers of calamities, disasters, evil thoughts, and demonic obstacles?"
What he asked already fell into the category of Taoist knowledge. Normally, someone would explain it to him in detail only after he formally entered the Tao.
But Qin Nanyi now regards Nan Yi as a born Taoist, someone who has already started on the Taoist path.
Seeing that Nan Yi was curious, she also hid it and introduced:
"Evil thoughts, demonic obstacles, and disasters are collectively called the seven demons and ten disasters."
"The seven demons are greed, anger, ignorance, jealousy, pride, viciousness, and lust, but they are inner demons and arouse evil thoughts."
"The ten calamities include deformities, diseases, and inexhaustible diseases. They are also forbidden to be blessed with good fortune, wealth, and longevity."
The ten disasters, that is, the ten types of calamities, are equivalent to the extraordinary price of spiritual practice in this life.
After listening to Qin Nanyi's introduction, Nan Yi summarized it again according to his own understanding:
Disability: payment of a price, such as physical disability, functional failure, etc.
Lack: Pay a price, such as loss of soul, loss of concept, etc.
Alienation: response costs, such as psychological alienation, cognitive distortion, etc.
Disease: response costs, such as physiological alienation, pain and suffering, etc.
Absolute: Sacrifice-like price, similar to Absolute Saint and Abandonment of Wisdom, Sacrifice Cause and Effect, etc.
Prohibition: the price of precepts, currently prohibited behavior, violation of which will result in injury, etc.
Taboo: Discipline-like costs, fatal weaknesses, key points, etc.
Fu: Consumption costs, such as the decline of good fortune, sudden disasters, etc.
Lu: Sacrifice-like consideration, such as losing money to eliminate disasters, sacrificing foreign objects, etc.
Lifespan: Consumption costs, such as loss of lifespan, aging and decay, etc.
