Analysis and exploration of cause and effect and responsibility through the special affairs department, Taoism and Buddhism.
Everyone discovered that, except when the doom of life comes, any act of killing will be accompanied by the birth of the original sin.
No matter how legitimate human beings find it, murder to pay for life, debt to pay money, sinful people should be punished with death, etc.
But those are just people's subjective thoughts and do not represent the laws of heaven and earth.
Unless the calamity comes, when the body should die, killing it will cause sin to be born.
Just like Xiao Mo, it is not impossible to kill him at this time, but he is not in the doom now, and killing him will definitely have negative consequences.
Not only that, the sins on him did not disappear completely, but were scattered among heaven and earth, borne by other people or creatures.
In this way, not only did Xiao Mo's sin not be eliminated, but another "sin of killing Xiao Mo" was added to the world, and someone needed to bear this "evil".
A life for a life, today if the Special Affairs Department kills him, tomorrow someone may be killed for the consequences of his death to wipe out this sin.
This person may not be a bad person, he may even be a good person.
Therefore, some people feel that not killing is not enough to warn the world, while others do not advocate killing.
Unless the executioner is specially trained in the method of killing and robbing, he can kill people without causing any consequences.
In this way, no evil consequences will occur, and innocent people will not be affected.
But not only is this method difficult to find, but even if you find it, you won’t dare to let people practice it easily.
The emergence of this kind of skill will basically be accompanied by endless killings and calamities.
In order to kill criminals, everyone can still clearly distinguish the seriousness of a murderous robbery.
It was not just Xiao Mo who caused the dispute between killing and not killing.
Rather, it concerns other criminals across the country and the rules for dealing with such crimes in the future.
Xiao Mo just caught up with a special period and was regarded as a typical example.
On this matter, those who have the biggest differences are some people in the Religious Alliance and the Martial Arts Alliance.
For example, some killers such as military strategists and legalists in the Guoshu Alliance don't care about your responsibilities and karma.
So what if the sin is transferred? Anyone who commits a crime punishable by death will be killed as a warning to others.
This country is definitely not the kind of virtuous people who adhere to the concept of "If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell?"
Just like Wu Tiantong, if he was allowed to suffer all kinds of evil and fall forever in order to exchange for the clarity of the world, he would have absolutely no objections.
They are not afraid of bearing the sin of killing, and some people even don't care that the transferred sins will affect innocent people.
They only know that eliminating evil can both promote good and warn against evil.
Compared to those sins of killing, those sins scattered by evil people.
In their view, committing less sin is the real elimination of evil after awakening others.
This is true, but the religious alliance says that not killing does not necessarily mean abolishing death, but valuing life.
Their greater concern is that blindly relying on killing will not be able to effectively solve the problem of accumulation of sin in the world.
Even if the increase in sin is reduced, the sin will only increase if it is not eliminated.
Until it reaches a certain limit, it will cause a killing catastrophe to cleanse the sins of the world.
At that time, no matter whether they are good or evil, innocent or not, they will be involved in this catastrophe, and they will involuntarily pay more lives to pay off these sins.
Until then, killing and calamity will not care whether you are good or evil.
As long as you are burdened with cause and effect and sin, you must use your own life or the lives of others to cleanse it.
Therefore, the Religious Alliance believes that if you don’t kill, the sin of killing will not be added. If you don’t kill, those sins will still remain on the criminals and will not affect innocent people.
But that doesn't mean there won't be any punishment.
If you make a mistake and still be taken care of by a good person, then no one will have the slightest respect for doing evil in the future.
So the religious alliance proposed two methods.
One is the punishment of sealing off the town proposed by the Maoshan Religion.
According to the dogma passed down from ancient times in Maoshan, it is believed that except for zombies, there is no reason to kill all demons. Although their actions are evil, they will be punished by heaven.
In other words, no matter how serious the demon's sins, God will punish him.
It should not be allowed for other people to cause evil and harm innocent people in the name of doing justice for heaven.
But there is no reason to turn a blind eye when encountering demons doing evil.
Therefore, in order to prevent him from continuing to do evil, the disciples of Maoshan must seal him up and wait for his doom to come, and God will take care of him.
At that time, those involved will not be guilty of new sins by killing.
When he is punished by heaven, he will also have merits and virtues due to the elimination of sins.
This concept is not only found in Maoshan, but also in most Taoist sects.
Not to mention Buddhism, they still believe that there is no sea and no bounds to turn back to the shore.
The other one is proposed by Taoist priest Lingguan, who proposes exchanging merit for crime.
When people make mistakes, they must correct them and make amends.
If you kill someone and feel regretful, then you must take the crime of killing yourself into yourself and do not affect others.
Then eliminate the sin and turn the evil into good, which is to exchange the merit for the sin.
In this way, not only will the original sins be eliminated, but more good fruits in the world will be distributed to others.
There are two methods, one is suitable for stubborn people, and the other is suitable for people who are repentant.
They all contain the Taoist way of valuing life and hating death.
But Taoism also has its thunderbolts to subdue demons, and Buddhism also has its angry-eyed King Kong.
Valuing life and hating death does not mean that you should not kill at any cost.
Whether it's killing, sealing off the town, or excusing the merits, all three theories are not exaggerated.
In the end, after much negotiation, the Special Affairs Department settled on a guideline.
That is a crime that has caused extremely bad consequences, so he must be killed no matter what to set an example to others.
If the affected area is not large and the person is stubborn and unresponsive, he will be imprisoned and sent by heaven when his fate is about to come.
Those who feel remorse can atone for their sins under the supervision of the Special Affairs Department.
However, not only do such people need to be strictly scrutinized, but if they commit another crime, they may even use it as an excuse to escape the crime.
That will directly impose the death penalty without hesitation, as a warning to those who come later.
As for what the criteria for judgment are and how to judge specifically, this is a long and lasting process of refinement.
Xiao Mo, after an investigation and verification by the Special Affairs Department, believed that the crimes he had committed before were not extremely harmful.
This is mainly due to his life-extending method. Without the demon seeds he donated, no one else could use them, they would not leave endless poison, and they did not cause too much panic before.
What's more, even now, people still think that he is a charitable person, and not many people know about the evil deeds he originally committed.
In addition, he really has thoughts of repentance and is not considered stubborn.
He also has the merit of subduing demons brought from the dungeon, which can make him redeem his merits.
It's just that in addition to eliminating his own sins, Xiao Mo also has to accumulate three thousand good deeds and merits to give back to heaven and earth before he can be perfect and be rid of his sinful body.
After solving these trivial matters, Taoist Lingguan felt relaxed.
Everyone is arguing about this. It cannot be said that there are no selfish motives, but most people’s thoughts are for a better world.
Maybe this sounds a bit false.
But when it comes to people like Taoist Lingguan, who can live forever, they really won't say false and empty words.
For them, temporary gains and losses are nothing at all.
If nothing else happened, they would have been able to live as long as the heaven and the earth, and shine with the sun and the moon.
And they inevitably have to live in this world.
A pure and peaceful world is much more comfortable to stay in than a quagmire full of filth and sin, right?
Moreover, as long as you cannot escape from the Three Realms and are not within the Five Elements, these filthy sins may fall on you at any time.
If you reach a critical moment in your practice, suddenly a sin will fall on you.
Not only did it interrupt your original breakthrough, but it also prevented you from making any progress unless you solved the problem. Do you think it's disgusting or not?
Not even talking about the Earth Immortals, some Human Immortals who have the possibility of becoming Earth Immortals will also support them.
Some ordinary people with good intentions will not blindly oppose it.
Except for those who are filthy because of their own cultivation needs, or who have no hope of a future and want revenge, or those who regard all things as rotten dogs and sacrifice all living beings for their own sake.
But this kind of people, in today's world, really can't afford to make any waves.
Otherwise, this country would have been in chaos long ago.
