I had no pain at all after thyroid surgery and basically no complications. I think the surgeon's operation was okay. He also took out half of the thyroid gland for my sake to preserve some of its functions.
As for the lymphatic metastasis, we only found out about it after pathology, and it was already two weeks later when we got the results. If there had been no lymphatic metastasis, this would have been a perfect operation and result.
Because thyroid cancer is a relatively indolent cancer, metastasis is not as scary as other cancers. However, it is still cancer after all, and the endocrinologist's advice is to deal with it more actively.
However, some doctors suggest that you can observe it first, and wait until it spreads again before it is too late to treat it. The two ideas are indistinguishable.
Personally, I prefer to cut it off later, so I am more entangled and irritated.
In other words, I will probably be hospitalized again in two or three months...
Apart from that, apart from taking a handful of medicine a day, I have already begun to enter the recovery period.
