However, the record of the green-faced lion in the book is not an auspicious holy beast, but a fierce and powerful monster that has been trained to the Mahayana.

This green-faced lion Qiu is the mount of Manjushri Bodhisattva, called the Green Lion First Immortal, and it keeps pace with the golden-haired dragon Tai Sui.

"According to what you said, there is one Buddha and four saints in the Buddha realm. These four saints already have mounts. So what is the mount of the Buddha?"
Miaofu didn't expect that Yu Wan would be so curious about the Buddha's mount. Inexplicably, he felt that this donor Yu's thirst for knowledge was really strong, so he had to explain:
"It is said that the Buddha did not have a mount, and he always sat on the sacred lotus platform to preach the Dharma and preach the sutras.
However, the history is too long, and there are also historical records that say that when the Buddha was born, he was born from the right side of the Virgin Mary while sitting on a six-tusked white elephant.
Calculated in this way, the Buddha's mount was a six-tusked white elephant since he was a child. It was not until he followed the cultivation of Buddhism and became a true Buddha that he no longer needed a mount, so he gave the six-tusked white elephant to Samantabhadra. "
Seeing that the two of them had been chatting all the way, Miaofu had stopped at the door of her courtyard without entering, so he had to change the topic:
"Donor Yu, please go to the yard to rest for a while."

The courtyard is not big, like a quadrangle, with two rooms on the left and right walls, and a dormitory on the left and right of the main hall room. The middle is the most spacious, and is used as the hall for worshiping Buddha and kneeling.
The open space in front of the courtyard has been rationally developed and utilized. The left and right sides to the gate are surrounded by stone circles. Some fruits and vegetables are planted on the left side of the courtyard, and some medicinal plants are planted on the right side of the aisle. The growth is quite gratifying. Look It turns out that the people who planted them put a lot of thought into taking good care of them.
Yu Wan followed Miaofu but saw no one. Out of respect, Yu Wan did not let go of his spiritual exploration and continued to enter the hall with Miaofu.
In the center of the hall, there is a statue of Guanyin as tall as one person. Guanyin sits on a lotus platform, holding a pure vase in one hand and raising five hearts to the sky in the other. His face is kind and his eyes are slightly lowered.
On a desk in front of the statue, there is an incense tripod, and a whole box of sandalwood pillars are placed next to the incense tripod for refilling the incense.
In the incense cauldron, three pillars of incense were already burning, and the ashes had just burned down to less than 30%. Yu Wan knew that there must be people living in this courtyard, and the incense was newly replaced.
Miaofu naturally lit the incense and inserted the incense into the incense pot. Then, she knelt down in the middle of the three futons in front of the desk, performed Buddhist rituals and kowtowed three times devoutly.
In order to seek peace of mind, Yu Wan chose the futon on the left and knelt down, imitating Miao Buddha, closing her eyes and bowing, praying for the safety and health of her family...
