Living in the old situation, looking forward to the new beauty 2023→2024

Why should people do things in this life that only listen to the true calling deep in their hearts? I think it’s because there are times when we can’t help ourselves when growing up.

In this world, there are too many things that people can do nothing about. So, I think being able to do something independently is a great thing in itself.

I think sometimes people may not need to listen to the whispers around them, it is enough to strengthen their beliefs and reflect on themselves from time to time. Learning to accept imperfect life and imperfect things has always been a very critical and important life topic.

In this world we will meet many people and experience many things. Some people say, may you go through thousands of sailings and come back still a young man. But now I feel that people don’t have to be young forever; they don’t have to have the innocent heart of a boy forever. As long as we still remember some of the beauty of our youth when we grow old, it is enough.

I have always felt that there are some wonderful reactions between people. After getting to know each other and getting along for a while, people who part ways in a hurry will always feel a sense of intimacy when they see each other again, even if they haven't seen each other for a long time. During the few years of campus life that I have clear memories of, I met all kinds of people, but very few of them became good friends after getting in touch with them. There were also many pleasant things that happened to me, but I cherish them. There are also very few things. And now these things are almost unified by something called memory.

I used to think that people would think the past time was very beautiful because memories have the function of beautifying the past, but now I have a different view.

I think the reason why people feel that the past time is beautiful is because they selectively remember the good things, and as time goes by, they gradually forget the not-so-good things.

Memories themselves will not beautify those things. It is the originally beautiful things that brew a lasting fragrance over time.
