On Materialism and Idealism

When I got home at noon that day, I looked at the familiar furnishings and the figures of my grandparents. At first, I didn’t say “disturbed”, but when they found me, I felt very clearly that the eyes of my grandparents were somewhat cloudy. Suddenly there was some joy. I suddenly realized that for the elderly at home, perhaps more important than hoping that we can achieve something is that we, the younger generations, should often go home and visit.

Maybe I had been talking for too long. When I got home that day, I felt a little sad for the two old people who were busy at home. Maybe I had read a lot of books and walked a long way. Looking back, I felt extremely happy. Maybe it was because You can reveal your heart to your family without worrying about whether you will be misunderstood or whether you have to be perfect.

I think that a place with family is a safe haven for people forever. Both body and soul can be soothed in this place, which is not small or big.

According to the education I have received, it seems that I should not only believe in the theory that there is destiny in the world. Because there is one clue that runs through the education I have received since I was a child, and that is materialism.

But that giant who was born 130 years ago made me find a little exception in the perfect closed loop of historical materialism.

It was he who allowed the devastated old society to be reborn; it was he who made people in the new society believe that our future will be extremely bright; it was he who made me believe in materialism and be extremely happy at the same time.

Through his works, I can get a glimpse of why people of that era were able to develop the "cult of personality" to the point where the entire society felt it was commonplace.

I think it's because he is right. He has always considered issues from the perspective of the masses. He has been fighting for the realization of that ideal society all his life.

I think that in the long-standing Chinese civilization, his thoughts will always shine with the brightest brilliance.

The situation of the old society, his appearance, and his actions made me believe in the saying that "there is destiny in the world."

I think this is true when looking at the overall situation of the country and society, and it is also true among the people I am in.
