Xiuxin heard this and said in disbelief:
"A two-year-old child? How is that possible?!"
Xiuxin hesitated for a moment and asked, "But someone is threatening this child behind his back? Or is there someone who is guiding him?"
Chen Kuang shook his head: "No."
"After the incident, I naturally investigated and learned the whole story. No one instigated the child, it was all told by him."
"Just because he has seen me giving herbs to people who are sick, that's all."
Because he knew that these eminent monks should basically have the magical power of "knowing other people's minds", what Chen Kuang said at this moment was basically the truth.
With the passive aspect of "solid as a rock", he can prevent others from prying into his thoughts.
But firstly, there was no guarantee that they would be able to tell whether Chen Kuang was lying, and secondly, there was no need to tell lies.
What Chen Kuang said was the Lion Heart experience he learned from Huo Hengxuan. It is absolutely true and has not been processed in any way.
In fact, he himself also speculated that with Lionheart's ability, how could he be harmed by a few mortals so easily.
When a practitioner transforms into a mortal, his memory and cultivation are removed, but his physical body is still the same physical body. It is always much stronger than ordinary mortals, and there is absolutely no problem in self-preservation.
In particular, what Lion Heart practices is the "Clay Body and Gold Sculpture Method".
Chen Kuang practiced this technique himself and knew how powerful it was.
After practicing to the extreme, the physical body cannot be broken by mortals, even without using spiritual energy.
Therefore, there is only one possibility for Lionheart to die, that is, his heart is dead.
He originally wanted to save all sentient beings and then use them to realize the "good" path, but he did not expect that in the end he would be framed by a two-year-old child who was supposed to be the purest and kindest person in the world.
The villagers can't kill him, the only one who can kill him is himself.
At that moment, Lionheart realized that his "Tao" was on the wrong path and would never work.
All kindness in the world is never born.
If he just wants to prove "his own goodness", then there is no problem at all. Lionheart definitely has such a broad and persevering kind heart.
But the problem is that what he wants to prove is the "goodness of all living beings."
Before becoming mortal, he grew up in the Pure Land. What he saw were not only eminent monks and great virtues, but also Zhengzhu disciples who abided by the precepts. Naturally, everyone was kind, which made him mistakenly believe that such pure goodness also existed in the world.
Who would have thought that a two-year-old child would directly break his Taoist heart in a small mountain village.
At the beginning of man's life, he was neither evil nor good, just a mass of chaos.
As a result, his Taoist heart collapsed, and he voluntarily abandoned his physical body to cultivate himself, and died at the hands of these ignorant villagers who had been treated by him.
Although Huo Hengxuan didn't say it, Chen Kuang felt that this was the truth behind Lion Heart's death.
When Chen Kuang thought of this, his heart suddenly moved.
He felt a burning sensation in his palm, but it soon turned into a warm and vigorous vitality.
Chen Kuang raised his hand in surprise, only to see a gorgeous red lotus slowly blooming in his palm!
The petals of this red lotus are all made of flames. The red color is like watering with blood. It is extremely magical and full of strong attraction, making people unable to take their eyes away.
Xiu Xin next to her was startled, and then she immediately realized something and looked at Chen Kuang in confusion:
"The Red Lotus of Karma! The magical power of Senior Brother Lionheart!"
Many of the many monks below recognized Lion Heart's iconic red lotus, and they all exclaimed, clasped their hands together, and saluted Chen Kuang.
One person did this, and everyone followed suit, and soon there were a lot of people saluting below.
When Chen Kuang heard this, his pupils shrank and he looked at the red lotus in his palm.
The enchanting red lotus seemed to notice his gaze and gently shook its petals.
Lionheart!
At the end of the story told by Huo Hengxuan, the pond in the village was filled with red lotuses overnight, attracting countless people to covet and fight for them, and eventually the whole village turned into a ghost.
Chen Kuang once thought that this was Huo Hengxuan's exaggeration to deceive him.
But I didn’t expect that this red lotus was actually the magical power of Lion Heart!
But why...would it appear in his palm now?
The red lotus on Chen Kuang's hand lowered its petals slightly, and two of the petals touched each other, as if they were also saluting him.
Chen Kuang strangely felt that the red lotus seemed to be expressing...gratitude.
He was a little enlightened for a moment.
Although Lionheart died, perhaps, when he was dying, he really realized "If I don't go to hell, who will?", devoted himself to the Tao, would rather die than kill anyone, and realized his own goodness.
The lion's heart is also one of the living beings.
Thus, he achieved half the truth, became a saint, and then fell.
Once a saint completely dies, although he can no longer be reincarnated, the way he returns to heaven and earth will bear a trace of his own mark.
Chen Kuang practiced the "Clay Body and Gold Sculpting Method" left by Lion Heart, which was contaminated by his karma.
At this moment, Chen Kuang returned to the Pure Land with his karma and told everyone about his deeds... In fact, it was equivalent to preaching!
In other words, although Chen Kuang has never even seen Lion Heart's face, he has indeed become the successor of Lion Heart's mantle.
Therefore, the trace of "Tao" belonging to the lion's heart was fed back to Chen Kuang.
A strange combination of circumstances... but it confirmed Chen Kuang's current fake identity!
In the fire of karma, Chen Kuang even vaguely saw fragments of Lion Heart's past memories.
Chen Kuang held the fiery red lotus in his hand and looked at the many monks in front of the main hall.
He smiled slightly:
"Thinking of all the past events, I felt for a moment that I am returning to the Pure Land and am reborn with joy. I hope that I can regain the Tao in the future and encourage you all."
Chen Kuang squeezed it gently, and the karma red lotus bloomed completely in an instant, showing endless colorful brilliance. Then he threw it forward, rose into the air, and passed over the heads of the monks.
The red lotus petals fell piece by piece and landed on everyone's heads, melting instantly.
When everyone who was originally in shock saw the brilliance above the petals, their expressions immediately changed. They immediately closed their eyes and began to meditate devoutly.
That brilliance is clearly "Daoyun"!
Chen Kuang's casual throw turned out to be the "Tao Yun" belonging to the saint!
This is the remaining "Tao Yun" belonging to the Lion Heart, the half of the "good" Tao that he has successfully achieved.
Even Xiu Xin, after her face changed several times, closed her eyes and thought with her heart.
When everyone opened their eyes again, they were completely impressed, and the eyes they looked at Chen Kuang were even more grateful.
Many people have even improved a lot in their cultivation.
One of the old monks looked excited and said loudly: "Welcome the return of the Buddha. It is natural to celebrate the seven days of the Pure Land!"
Others echoed.
The saint's "Tao Yun" will not be easily revealed to others. For such a selfless act, even the martial saint who set up the missionary stele would feel ashamed... Oh, I heard that the martial saint seemed to be defeated because of Chen Kuang.
Reasonable!
Senior Brother Lionheart is so ambitious, and someone as sanctimonious as Martial Saint is undefeated, who will be defeated?
Although Xiuxin still had a trace of doubt and uneasiness, she could only take a step back and said in a deep voice:
"Senior Brother Lionheart."
Chen Kuang stepped forward and patted him on the shoulder, squinting his eyes and raising the corners of his mouth. This time he was truly borrowing flowers to offer to the Buddha.
He took a look at Fozi Xiuxin.
This man dared to question the three demons and had a strong character. He must be the demon's confidant. And he raised the question in such a public place. I'm afraid he already had doubts about the three demons in his heart...
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and I can win them over secretly.
After this experience, the three demons should trust him more, and he should try his best to keep his show.
