It is not troublesome to announce this matter, not to mention that after the three great Zen masters sent Chen Kuang to the Zen room, they ordered the monks below to handle the matter, and the process had already been completed.
Today is actually just a formality in name only, announcing the great Zen master’s decision.
Chen Kuang was led by Xiuzhu to the square in front of the Main Hall of Jialan Temple.
This Mahavira Hall is the main hall of the temple that enshrines the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. It covers an area of a thousand acres. The Buddha statue enshrined in the temple is so big that it is almost terrifying. Looking up, it is difficult to even see its entirety.
That huge Buddha statue, even if it looks down kindly, still has a terrifying sense of oppression, which makes people's hearts beat faster and makes them afraid to look directly at it.
The matters that can be presided over in the Main Hall must be major events in the entire Pure Land. Since the establishment of Jialan Temple, there have only been less than a handful of them.
However, since it is the reincarnation and return of the Buddha, it must be witnessed by the Buddha, so the location is set in the square in front of the main hall to show attention and respect.
At this moment, nearly a thousand monks had gathered in the square.
Among them were not only Zhengzhu disciples from Jialan Temple, but also disciples from other temples who came to watch the ceremony.
Although Jialan Temple is the most respected place in the Pure Land, the disciples from other temples are not weak either. However, those who are qualified to come and observe the ceremony must be the outstanding ones.
They received the notice yesterday and immediately rushed to Jialan Temple to witness the return of the third Buddhist disciple of this generation, without any hesitation.
After all, this is a major event for the entire Pure Land.
And they also want to see what kind of person the reincarnation of the Buddhist "Lion Heart" who was the most dominant figure in his life and who was known as the most likely to achieve enlightenment would be.
Either scrutinizing or curious eyes finally fell on the moon-white monk robe that followed Xiuzhu.
Then the moment they saw the long black hair, they all became confused and confused.
Chen Kuang narrowed his eyes and glanced at the bunch of bald heads meditating in front of him, but what he was thinking about was whether the three demons would come out of the meditation room.
Judging from Xiuzhu's words, although they occupied the bodies of three great Zen masters, they should also have serious side effects.
Their spiritual consciousness can no longer leave the scope of the meditation room, and just supporting the physical appearance is already the limit.
In fact, Chen Kuang even had some doubts... that he could see the true appearance of the three demons that day, maybe it was not because of his passive "seeing fire".
But they deliberately revealed the prototype at that time just to test Chen Kuang's reaction.
If Chen Kuang showed signs of shock, he might not be able to leave the meditation room.
If these three demons do not come out of the meditation room even on such occasions, it means that their condition is worse than imagined, and Chen Kuang's strategy will change accordingly.
But it was a pity that the three highly respected Zen masters finally walked out slowly with the support of three young monks.
"Crack! Crack!"
The rotten blood holes on both sides of the leader's head, Bu Wen, were still dripping thick black blood, and there were many unknown objects squirming in them.
There seemed to be more countless small pale arms stretching out from the missing eye sockets.
Silence, who has no mouth, seems too normal...but his eyes, which are always kind and smiling, are as invisible as the abyss.
In this way, under the gaze of everyone, the three of them walked step by step to the front of the hall.
Chen Kuang tried not to look at the dirty blood on the ground, but the scene in front of him was really to the point of destroying his sanity.
The sun was shining brightly in the square, and a group of monks gathered with devout faces under the golden statue of Fen Buddha. The incense curled up, and it was extremely sacred. However, the three leading monks all looked terrifying.
Chen Kuang took a deep breath and walked to the side of these three great Zen masters.
Zen Master Nabuwen opened his mouth and sighed:
"Forty years ago, the lion-hearted Buddha who was most likely to achieve the fourth sainthood went out to practice but disappeared. It was also a pity for the entire Pure Land."
"In the past forty years, I have never stopped sending people to retrieve the lion's heart relic, but to no avail."
"But fortunately, I have a deep connection with Lion Heart Buddha. Forty years later, I returned to the Pure Land with my wisdom. It is really a blessing for me as a Buddhist."
Buwen walked up to Chen Kuang and reached out to pat his shoulder.
"Crack!"
A pool of pus and blood was dripping in front of Chen Kuang's feet, and countless maggots in it suddenly started rolling, as if boiling.
Chen Kuang kept a faint smile and said: "I love you, Zen Master. It is an honor for me to have the wisdom of Senior Lion Heart."
Bu Wenhe laughed:
"Humility and self-restraint are also your wisdom."
"In this case, you have not yet been ordained, and you do not have a dharma title of your own. It is not appropriate to use a common name in the Pure Land. For now, you have inherited the dharma name 'Lion Heart'. How about you choose another one when you are ordained?"
What else could Chen Kuang say, so naturally he could only put his hands together:
"Thank you Zen Master."
Buwen nodded with satisfaction, looked at the thousands of monks, and said:
"The disciple of the Pure Land Buddha has returned to the world today. The Buddha is very happy. The disciples of each temple suspended their studies for seven days to express their joy and praise. In the Pure Land, vegetarian banquets cannot be cut off. No matter the monks or laymen, everyone congratulates the disciple of the Buddha."
As soon as these words came out, the monks below were stunned.
Because in the past, inviting Buddhist disciples back would not be so extravagant. At most, Jialan Temple would arrange a vegetarian banquet for a day to celebrate.
But now, the intention of not seeing and hearing actually means that the entire Pure Land will hold a banquet for seven days!
During these seven days, daily chanting lessons must be stopped... This is simply unheard of and can be called indulgence!
The Pure Land has always been proud of its ascetic practices, and now it was suddenly necessary to suspend classes for seven days. There was a sudden uproar, and the faces of several presiding elders of other temples changed, and they frowned, completely incomprehensible.
Chen Kuang was not surprised, he just understood that his guess was indeed correct.
A thousand-mile embankment was destroyed in an ant nest... These three demons wanted to use him to turn a deer into a horse and gradually subvert the entire pure land.
If there is one, there are two. If you bring back a Buddha today, you can hold a banquet for seven days, and next time, it can be a month.
All seemingly unbreakable rules can be subtly changed.
Those monks naturally knew that this was very inappropriate.
Especially the Buddhist disciple who suddenly came back in front of me is not even a monk at all!
At that time, Xiuzhu had to discuss the relics of unknown origin for three months before deciding on it. However, Chen Kuang did not even have his identity verified, and he actually held a banquet for seven days to celebrate in such a grand manner.
It’s neither emotional nor rational!
What's more, the Pure Land is not secluded from information. At this moment, someone has long recognized Chen Kuang's identity and knows his past experience. They will immediately understand how big the problem this person is.
But at this moment, the great Zen master made such a request in public. How could they question the status of the temple presiding elders in public?
So, they naturally turned their attention to one of them at the front.
Another Buddhist disciple present - Xiuxin!
Xiuzhu was young, so naturally the only one who could persuade the three great Zen masters was this Buddhist disciple.
Chen Kuang also noticed their gazes and looked at the genuine Buddhist disciple.
The appearance of this Xiuxin Buddha is not outstanding. He has a soft outline and a compassionate look. The same moon-white cassock wears out a sense of transcendental integrity. His eyes are clear and his spiritual light surges. He looks like a standard eminent monk. .
Xiu Xin lived up to expectations, and indeed stood up two steps forward, looked at Chen Kuang with burning eyes, and said warmly:
"I don't hear you, Zen Master. Wait a minute. Xiu Xin has a question that I would like to ask the great Zen Master to answer."
"How can a person who has never been ordained, whose six roots are impure, and is riddled with karma and obstacles, be a disciple of the Buddha in the Immaculate Pure Land? If the monks are allowed to celebrate a person who has killed many evildoers, how can they convince the people?"
