"Buddhist Enlightenment Academy?"

On horseback on the mountain road, when he heard Ji Ping'an say this word, Yu Yu, who looked proud and disdainful, was stunned for a moment, and then frowned:

"Why don't I know this information?"

Before coming to Yuhang, the saint carefully read her "travel manual", in which there was also an introduction to "Yunlin Zen Temple".

I remember that the abbot of this Zen monastery was indeed called "Yihong", but because the Zen monastery was far away from Yuhang and relatively low-key in the field of practice, she didn't pay much attention to it.

Ji Ping'an looked dull and didn't bother to explain that this was the information provided by Song Xuezheng.

Ye Hongling said "En", as if explaining, but also as if recalling:

"The main altar of Buddhism in the Southern Tang Dynasty is opposite to the Taoist Qingyun Palace. It is also divided into many departments, such as Bodhidharma Hall, Arhat Hall, Bodhi Hall... etc. This Zhengdao Hall is said to be a place dedicated to teaching Buddhism.

The monks who practice hard among them are all geniuses with great wisdom. Although they can also absorb spiritual elements and have good cultivation skills, they do not put too much energy into practice, nor do they value martial arts. They only focus on studying, Spread the Dharma.

Well, to use a metaphor, it is like the position of the Hanlin Academy in the imperial court. In terms of power, it is not great, but it is a first-class noble and has a very high status... like the White Pagoda Temple in the Divine Capital City. The abbot, the famous 'Master Xueting', was also born in the 'Zhengdaoyuan'. "

Seeing the female martial artist talking freely, Yu Yu hummed coquettishly:

"Why are you explaining this? Is it possible that this saint doesn't know this?"

Ji Ping'an ignored her and looked at the female warrior:

"go on."

Ye Hongling nodded and said:

"Master Yihong has very high qualifications in the Buddhist system of the Southern Tang Dynasty. His master is the deceased 'Jingguang Bodhisattva'. In terms of status, he corresponds to the great monks of the Guantian Realm here. It can be said that he comes from a famous family and has a good reputation in Buddhism." profound.

This is probably the reason why Buddhism sent him to garrison Yunlin Zen Monastery. It is convenient for spreading Buddhism, his status is high enough, and at the same time his cultivation is not strong, so he will not arouse the tension and vigilance of the court. "

Pure Light Bodhisattva... Yu Yu became a little more serious. As a saint, she also knew a lot about the names and taboos of powerful people in Buddhism.

The simplest way is to judge the "personality" of a Buddhist disciple by his "title".

The highest level, corresponding to the Taoist leader, is the "Lord Buddha".

Secondly, there is the "Bodhisattva" corresponding to the great elder of the Taoist sect.

Next, there is the elder-level "mage" or "arhat", and the master of Yuhang Sanqing Temple corresponds to this stage.

Of course, ordinary people don't know this, so they often use the names indiscriminately.

For example, when they see an ordinary monk, they call him "Master"... It is similar to how ordinary people call "immortal master" when they see a practitioner. It is an honorific title.

The "Pure Light Bodhisattva" is indeed a strong man, but he is not sure whether he has also been "reborn".

Pure light... When Ji Ping'an heard this name, some memories appeared in his eyes.

In his mind, a young monk who bravely stopped in front of him and bowed down to ask for advice hundreds of years ago came to mind...

Hmm, I don’t know if Jingguang solved the problems that were left for him back then before he died.

Ji Pingan thought with interest.

Ye Hongling continued:

"Over the years, Master Yihong has been stationed in the Zen monastery. He often prays for blessings and cures diseases for believers. He also tours villages and towns every year, giving away holy water to cure diseases and save people. Therefore, he has a high reputation among the people, which is why there is an endless stream of pilgrims."

Yu Yu hummed:

"Holy water is nothing more than some potion diluted with magic and cheap heavenly materials and earthly treasures. Buddhism has always been good at using worthless things to win people's hearts. My Taoist sect is stationed on one side, making clouds and rain, eliminating disasters and calming the people. I have done so What a big deal, the incense is not as good as this shabby temple."

Hey, little drama queen, you are very antagonistic... Ji Pingan looked sideways.

It’s not surprising that Buddhism and Taoism have been competing for a long time, so it’s normal for the two families to look down on each other.

He smiled and said:

"So Buddhism is indeed more advanced when it comes to acquiring fame. For some things, it doesn't mean that if you do them secretly, others will praise you for your good deeds.

Just like diagnosing a disease, a truly smart doctor often detects a person's illness before he or she is sick and uses medicine in advance. However, people's feelings are not as good as those of a doctor who "cures the disease with medicine" when the disease is terminally ill. "

Yu Yu pouted and his cheeks puffed up like a little hamster:

"Anyway, bald donkeys are slippery."

Ji Ping'an laughed.

Not long after, the three of them followed the official road and arrived at Yunlin Temple.

When viewed from a distance, it is still an inconspicuous building. When we reach the foot of the mountain, the grandeur of the ancient temple hits us.

The Buddhist temple is built on the mountainside, with long stone steps hanging down to the foot of the mountain, and there is an endless stream of people on it.

The three of them stored their horses in the pavilion at the foot of the mountain and walked up the stairs. Since it was almost evening, most of the pilgrims were going down the mountain.

"Although the Zen temple building is large, it cannot receive too many guests, so often only a few, with higher status, can stay in the temple." Ye Hongling explained:

"Generally, those living nearby, such as people in Qiantang County, will leave before dawn and still have time to go home in the evening. As for believers from Yuhang, they will also go to Qiantang County to stay."

While talking, the three of them arrived at the main entrance of the monastery and followed the flow of people into the front hall.

I saw a big cauldron standing there, with yellow fragrance as thick as a baby's arm and dazzling green smoke.

A big tree next door hangs ribbons and wooden signs with wishes.

There are monks selling incense and candles, drawing lots and interpreting lots, and everything is available.

In the middle of the front, there is a main hall with Buddhist temple architecture. Behind the carved window lattice, the golden body of the Buddhist temple can be vaguely seen.

As the flow of people gradually thinned out, the three people swimming upstream were very conspicuous.

A young novice monk came forward, clasped his hands, his eyes fell on Ye Hongling's robe under the black cloak and the sword on her waist, and said lightly:

"Buddhism's pure land, this benefactor, please leave your sharp blade at the door."

Ye Hongling did not follow the instructions, but took out her belt and said:

"I am the head of the Yuhang Demon Slaying Department. I have come to see Master Yihong to discuss something."

The little novice monk was not surprised, and there was no fear on his face. Hearing this, he took the waist badge with both hands and said:

"Excuse me, please wait a moment, the young monk will go and report."

After saying that, he turned around and left.

Yu Yu whispered:

"You, the chief minister, don't look like you are good at it. You can't even frighten a young monk."

Ye Hongling smiled bitterly and whispered:

"Your Highness the Holy Lady, Yunlin Temple is backed by Buddhism. After all, we have a temper. If we are just ordinary people, these monks may still be pleasant, but we represent the imperial court, which is different. In fact, these monks have no respect for the imperial court. Officials never make excuses, and there is nothing we can do about it."

This sounds counter-logical.

According to common sense, Yunlin Temple is located in Lanzhou and is alone, so it seems that it should bow its head and be weak.

But conversely:

Precisely because it represents Buddhism, it will appear particularly tough when facing the Zhou Dynasty, because to a certain extent, the Zen Temple represents the Southern Tang Dynasty.

Yu Yu put his hands on his hips, raised his fair face, and said seductively:

"It's better for me to reveal my identity."

Ji Ping'an glanced at the silly girl and said calmly:

"I advise you not to do it, as the treatment will be even worse."

"..." Yu Yu snorted, turned away, and ignored him.

Then, they waited for a long time, but no one came to receive them. This seemed to corroborate Ye Hongling's words. The Chanyuan seemed to be deliberately "snuggling" and showing off.

Just when the three of them were getting impatient, the sky was getting dark, and the pilgrims around them had dispersed, a few monks in gray robes arrived belatedly.

The middle-aged man in charge held the waist badge in his hand and handed it back expressionlessly:

"The poor monk is a well-known guest in the courtyard. The chief minister of the night comes to visit, and the courtyard is full of glory. I don't know what he is doing."

He kept a straight face and spoke politely, and his attitude was clear to the monk.

Ye Hongling was not surprised and said:

"This officer is here to investigate a case. The specific situation needs to be discussed in detail with Master Yihong in person."

The monk Zhike shook his head when he heard this:

"That's not a coincidence. The abbot has been studying Buddhism behind closed doors recently and has not seen any guests. If Mr. Ye has anything to say, you can tell the poor monk and tell him after the abbot comes out of seclusion."

Retreat?

Hearing this answer, Ye Hongling looked a little ugly.

If you are an orthodox practitioner, it is indeed not uncommon to retreat, but unless it is an extremely rare "death retreat", it is not undisturbed.

Master Yihong, who was born in the "Zhengdao Academy", is not an orthodox "monk", so the so-called retreat is more like an excuse.

Ye Hongling said sincerely:

"This is a serious matter. Please inform the mage, Demon Slayer Secretary Ye Hongling, to see you."

The monk Zhike showed displeasure:

"What do you mean by this, the donor? Do you think that this poor monk is not worthy of discussing with you?"

Ye Hongling's chest rose and fell slightly, and she finally couldn't suppress her anger. However, Zhike Monk's face was calm, and there was even a hint of a smile at the corner of his mouth:

"Or is Chief Ye planning to break in?"

Very provocative!

Ji Ping'an watched coldly from the side and shook his head slightly.

I thought that what the female martial artist said just now was too "kind". It was more than just "pretentious", it was just deliberately making things difficult.

Unfortunately, Ye Hongling, as a dignified martial artist, could only suppress her anger.

Again, she couldn't bear the responsibility of causing the conflict between the two countries, which was why the female warrior insisted on inviting Ji Ping'an to come.

In Buddhism and the Southern Tang Dynasty, the four words "Grand Master of the Zhou Dynasty" were far more important than the imperial court.

At this time, a deep voice came from far away: "What's the fuss about?"

Brush - everyone followed the sound.

I saw an extraordinarily burly warrior monk striding forward from the side courtyard. He was wearing an apricot-yellow monk robe, with half of his arms exposed, and his bronze muscles were graceful, as if they were cast by copper juice.

With a square face and thick eyebrows, he is not angry but has authority.

As practitioners, the three of them keenly sensed a faint threat from each other.

"Dahuyuan." Several novice monks led by Zhike monk hurriedly saluted and explained the whole story.

When they heard the name "Dahuyuan", the three of them thought of the second-largest figure in Yunlin Zenyuan, who was also the "responsible force" of the temple.

Because Yi Hongfa studied Buddhism, the most powerful one in the Zen Temple was Daigoin who was born in the "Arhat Hall".

Also considering that in order to avoid the fear of the imperial court, the Daihuyuan has always only been able to reach the realm of breaking the nine perfections. In the Buddhist system, it is not the "Dharma" system, but the "Warrior Monk" system.

At this moment, after hearing what had happened, the big nurse frowned, looked at Ye Hongling, and said:

"Sir Ye, if I remember correctly, according to the agreement between the Zhou Dynasty and the Southern Tang Dynasty, the Yunlin Temple is not under the jurisdiction of your country."

The female warrior was speechless for a moment.

Dahuyuan turned his head again and looked at the young men and women beside the female martial artist. When his eyes glanced at Yu Yu, they barely paused - showing a lack of attention.

When he saw Ji Pingan, he hesitated and said, "This is..."

Ji Ping'an glanced at the female martial artist who was asking for help, and knew that it was time for him to reveal his identity. Hearing this, he took out the Si Chen Token from his arms:

"Si Chen, Ji Ping'an of Qin Tian Jianmuyuan."

It's him! ?

Hearing this name, in the vestibule, a group of monks who came to watch the commotion because they heard the quarrel all looked at each other in surprise, and then started whispering.

Peaceful season!

Now, even the Zhike monk, who had looked arrogant before and looked like a "seventh grade official in front of the prime minister's door", restrained his arrogance.

This change is so clear, as if this little "Si Chen" is actually more noble than the leader of the Demon Slayer Division and the powerful person sitting in the well.

The burly, majestic and extremely oppressive Dainuyuan also looked more serious, and there was a little respect on his cold face:

"It turns out to be the rumored new genius star officer of Qin Tianjian, a close disciple of the Imperial Master of the Zhou Dynasty. I'm disrespectful."

With the power of Buddhism, although its tentacles in the Great Zhou Dynasty are weak, it can still grasp some important information in a timely manner.

In the Grand Prize of the City of Gods, the star officials who have risen to fame belong to this category.

Unexpectedly... after living for thousands of years, he would finally be reduced to the point where he was "taking advantage of" his own halo... Ji Ping'an complained in his heart.

It was clear that the change in attitude of this group of monks was not due to his "genius" or his achievement as the leader of the Grand Prize in the Divine Capital.

But the identity of "disciple of the national master".

Although it sounds ironic, the fact is:

As of now, outside the territory of the Great Zhou Dynasty, the reputation of the late "National Master" is still far greater than that of the Great Zhou Dynasty!

In the past, when the empire was at its peak, the national masters at the peak of their combat power went south to the Tang Kingdom, to the north to the barbarians, to the west to visit the demon kingdom, and to the east to the East China Sea.

With his own strength, he defeated all the major forces around him.

In the eyes of the people of the Great Zhou Dynasty, this historical event was just a deed that they could be proud of.

But in the eyes of other countries, including Southern Tang, it left an awesome and huge "shadow".

This shadow was so strong that the Tang Dynasty did not dare to move for four hundred years, covering the sky above generations of people.

And because people are born with the desire to be strong, this kind of oppression has gradually turned into an almost fanatical respect.

As a result, more than ten years after the death of the Imperial Master Rao Shi, his image still holds great weight among Buddhist disciples——

Even the "Master Xueting" of the divine capital, when reminiscing with Master Zhang in Huaiyuan, still regretted not being able to see the face of the Imperial Master.

It’s evident!

At the same time, they also have relatively more respect for the power of Qin Tianjian.

On the contrary, within the Great Zhou Dynasty, whether it was the imperial court or the other four major sects, after the death of the imperial master, the respect for Qin Tianjian rapidly diminished.

At this time, seeing the change in the attitude of the monks in the monastery, Yu Yu, who was standing nearby eating melon and watching a show, twitched the corners of his mouth, snorted, and stopped talking.

Ye Hongling showed envy in her eyes.

"Toutuo is so polite." Ji Ping'an returned the greeting with a smile.

In the Buddhist system, Pojiu monks who take the path of "warrior monks" can all be called "Tutuo", which is an honorific title similar to "Master".

Ji Pingan said:

"It stands to reason that the Demon Slayer Department does not have the authority to govern the Zen Yuan, but since a case involves the people of Yuhang, I hope they can be a little more lenient."

"This..." Dahuyuan looked hesitant, pondered for a moment, and then sighed:

"Since it is a distinguished guest from Qin Tianjian who speaks, and it involves common people, it stands to reason that I, a Buddhist, are not unreasonable, but Master Yihong has indeed been practicing behind closed doors recently. This is not an excuse."

Ji Ping'an said doubtfully: "Oh?"

Dainuyuan explained:

"Si Chen should know that Master Yihong is the disciple of 'Pure Light Bodhisattva'. In the past, the Bodhisattva once passed down the second half of a Buddhist verse for future generations of disciples to understand. Master Yihong has practiced Zen for half his life, but he has never been able to figure it out. He has to take a period of time every year to stay behind closed doors. Study the Dharma intensively to understand it, and during this period, in order to prevent trivial matters from breaking the 'empty-clear Bodhisattva state', it is not an extremely important matter, and outsiders are not allowed to disturb it."

The state of Kongming Bodhisattva is an extremely deep state of meditation that Buddhists enter when practicing Zen.

Likewise, it is also a technique for quickly recovering spiritual essence and injuries.

Hearing this, Ye Hongling looked disappointed. If this was really the case, then their trip would probably be in vain.

If you can't see the abbot, even if you tell the case to the Daihuyuan, he won't be able to make the decision, and it will be even harder for him to cooperate.

Yu Yu also remained silent, knowing that even if Ruo Ji Ping'an didn't give him any face, the face of her, a mortal enemy of Buddhism, was even less valuable.

"In that case, it's us who are causing trouble."

Ye Hongling forced out a smile and prepared to leave with fists in hand.

However, she was so disappointed that she didn't notice the strange look on Ji Ping'an's face after hearing what Dai Huyuan said.

"That's it?" Ji Ping'an suddenly asked.

Everyone was stunned.

Seeing their confusion, Ji Ping'an smiled and said:

"Master Yihong, are you just meditating hard because of that half-sentence of a Buddhist verse?"

The nursing home was a little unhappy, but still patiently said:

"Si Chen, who practices the Star Official System, may not know much about our Buddhism. You must know that Buddhism is profound and boundless. It points directly to the great road. It is not as light as a half-sentence of Buddhist verses, but what lies behind it..."

"Do you have paper and pen?" Ji Pingan interrupted him.

After saying that, he caught a glimpse of the table in the courtyard of the front hall where pilgrims were writing prayers. He walked straight over, pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote a few words with a pen.

He quickly folded it up and handed it to Daihuyuan:

"Please show this post to Master Yihong. Once he has a look at it, he will say that it can relieve his sorrow."

"this……"

The monks were at a loss again. They wanted to refuse, but they couldn't bear the identity of the disciples of the national master. The great guardian hesitated for a long time. They seemed to think that just handing over a piece of paper was not a serious interruption, so why not just accept it:

"Well, it's just this one time. If Si Chen hadn't spoken, there would have been no exception. However, Master Yihong will never go out during the retreat. This is an iron law that has been practiced rain or shine for decades. Don't have your expectations."

After speaking, he handed the note to Zhike Monk and ordered him to deliver it.

The monk who knew the guest wanted to speak but stopped, because he really didn't want to.

I thought it was ridiculous that a mere star official, who knew nothing about Buddhism, could speak so boldly as to relieve the Master's sorrow.

If he wasn't from Qin Tianjian and was rumored to be a disciple of the Imperial Master, why would he need such respect?

But in the end, he couldn't resist, so he turned around sadly and walked towards the depths of the monastery.

In the back hall of the Zen Yuan, there is a quiet Zen room.

Master Yihong wore a white monk's robe and sat cross-legged on a bamboo mat.

There are Buddhist scriptures spread out around me, but I don’t read them, I just concentrate on meditating.

There is a string of red sandalwood beads coiled in the left hand, and the wooden fish is gently struck with the right hand, making a rhythmic sound of "dong dong dong".

Judging from his appearance, he is about fifty years old, but he is actually older, slightly thinner, quite handsome in appearance, and has the temperament of a "Confucian monk".

In front of him, half a verse hung on the wall:

The impermanence of all actions is the law of birth and death.

"Dong dong dong... dong."

The wooden fish in Master Yihong's hand stopped, and the string of beads stopped turning.

He opened his eyes, broke away from the realm of Kongming Bodhisattva, and looked at the eight characters on the wall, with endless confusion in his eyes.

This eight-character verse was passed on to his disciples by "Pure Light Bodhisattva" before his death. There is also an allusion in it that only a few people know.

That is to say: these eight characters were not created by Jingguang Bodhisattva, but by the great master of Zhou Dynasty.

In the past, when the Great Master of the Zhou Dynasty was at his peak, he rushed to the Southern Tang Dynasty and was a guest at the Buddhist main altar. He discussed the great path with the Buddha, attracting powerful people from all over Buddhism to watch.

Master Jingguang, who was still young at that time and had not yet become a "Bodhisattva", also went there.

However, he was not qualified to enter the main hall to listen, so he only waited outside the Buddhist temple with other monks.

The discussion between the Imperial Master and the Lord Buddha lasted for seven days and seven nights. The monks who were standing outside dispersed and came again, but Jingguang never left. He drank water from the stream when he was thirsty and ate raw cakes when he was hungry.

Finally, when the discussion was over, the Grand Master of the Zhou Dynasty walked out with his hands behind his hands, his loose clothes and long sleeves fluttering, and the bells of the Buddhist temple rang.

Jingguang woke up from his nap, jumped out from the crowd, boldly stopped the national master, and asked him about the true meaning of Buddhism in his eyes.

"The true meaning of Buddhism? Are you here to ask me?"

The imperial master's long black and white hair hung behind his star robe, and he looked at the young monk who was prostrating in surprise.

Jingguang replied:

"Juniors have heard that seniors say, 'Those who are in authority are confused, but onlookers know clearly.' Seniors are not from my Buddhist sect, but they can discuss the Dharma with the Lord Buddha. Naturally, they are far better than me. Why can't they ask for advice?"

The Imperial Master was startled when he heard this, then laughed loudly, thought for a moment, and said with a smile:

"That's alright, I'll give you a Buddha verse."

Jing Guang said with a straight face: "Listen attentively."

The Imperial Master said: "All actions are impermanent and are the law of birth and death."

Jingguang's eyes brightened, and he vaguely caught the light of wisdom:

"Where's the next sentence? Where's the next sentence?"

The Imperial Master flew away with a smile on his face:

"Leave half a sentence for you to think carefully. When you understand it thoroughly, you will enter the realm of Bodhisattva."

Then Master Jingguang meditated on it day by day, until he had a sudden enlightenment on a rainy night a few years later, composed the second half of the verse, and entered the realm of Guantian Bodhisattva.

Someone asked him why he had enlightenment, but Jingguang didn't answer. He burned the second half of the verses and kept only the first half, which he passed on to his disciples. He also quoted the words of the master at that time and urged them to understand.

"All actions are impermanent, the law of birth and death...the law of birth and death..."

In the meditation room, Master Yihong came back from his memory and murmured with a wry smile: "I thought that Buddhism was profound, but after many years of hard work, I still can't get the point. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter."

With emotion, Master Yihong shook his head and sighed.

He vaguely understood in his heart that with his own understanding, he was afraid that he would not be able to complete this verse in this life, let alone talk about "Bodhisattva" in vain.

It's not surprising to Yihong. Since the establishment of Buddhism, how many people have become "Bodhisattva"?

However, after all, I was unwilling to accept that I could not decipher the epiphany, but at least...it would be nice if someone could tell me the remaining half of the Buddhist verse.

It was also possible to fulfill a wish, but it was a pity that Jingguang was dead and the national master was dead, so he had no choice but to accept his fate...right?

Thinking of this, Master Yihong sighed and unwillingly picked up the wooden fish to meditate again. At this time, he was interrupted by footsteps outside the meditation room.

"Abbott, Dahuyuan ordered the disciples to deliver a letter to you. It was written by Yixingguan." Zhike Monk said through the door.

He felt that Ji Pingan's last sentence, "It can relieve his sorrow" was really arrogant and ridiculous, so he did not repeat it.

Star officer?

The white-clothed mage frowned and said:

"Pass it in. I'll look at it later. Just go ahead."

"Yes." The monk Zhike breathed a sigh of relief and did not open the door. He carefully stuffed the note under the door and turned around to leave.

Master Yihong glanced at it but did not pick it up.

In his opinion, if something serious happened, Daigoin would definitely come to him in person instead of just asking Zhike Monk to send a note.

It must have been a visit from a star official. Considering that the other party was from Qintian Prison, it was difficult to refuse bluntly, so he reluctantly handed over the letter. The implication of this move was:

Things don't matter.

After all, they are old partners, Master Yihong understands instantly.

He looked away, closed his eyes again, picked up the wooden fish and struck it, trying to enter meditation, but for some reason, his eyelids kept twitching, making him unable to meditate at all.

"Huh?"

The mage opened his eyes. As a practitioner, he was particularly sensitive to abnormalities in his own spiritual sense.

He thought for a moment, put down the gavel, waved his hand, and the folded note fell into his palm.

Then, the white-clothed mage unfolded the paper curiously, his eyes suddenly froze, and he looked at the paper dreamily.

I saw eight big characters written on it:

Birth and cessation have ceased, and cessation is bliss.

It was as if there was a bolt of thunder and lightning that pierced the deep darkness and penetrated the sky and the earth. The soul of the eminent monk who was born in the "Zhengdao Academy" seemed to be trembling at this moment.

self-mumbling:

"All actions are impermanent, this is the law of birth and death, birth and death have ceased, and cessation is happiness..."

"...the cessation of birth and cessation has ceased, and cessation is bliss."

Outside the Zen room.

Slowing down his steps and speed, he quietly left the meditation room and walked to the hanging flower door. Just as he was about to gently open the door, he suddenly heard the sound of objects falling from the meditation room behind him, and then Master Yihong cried and laughed.

Zhike Monk was stunned and turned around to look, only to see that the closed door of the Zen room was suddenly pushed open.

Dressed in white, the fifty-year-old archmage looked messy, with a crazy face, staring at him, and his voice was urgent and sharp:

"Who? Who sent the Buddhist verse? Which star official is it? Could it be that the supervisor is here in person?!"

What Buddhist verse?

What the hell... Zhike Monk was confused and muttered:

"It's a young Si Chen, his name is..."

Master Yihong suddenly ran out barefoot and said:

"I'll go see him myself."

The monk Zhike was shocked and turned pale. He realized that the abbot seemed to have been stimulated by some kind of stimulation and had obviously lost his composure. He suddenly stretched out his arms and hugged him tightly:

"Abbott, you can't do it! How can you go out looking like this? My Buddhist dignity will be gone."

Master Yihong suddenly woke up, stopped in his tracks, and said in a deep voice:

"I'm going to take a shower and change clothes, please bring him over quickly!"

The monk Zhike hurriedly said:

"Okay, disciple, go now, go now."

After saying that, he walked away, but his heart was full of confusion. He couldn't figure out what it was that Ji Sichen wrote that could make the usually calm abbot lose his temper.

After Zhike Monk left, only Master Yihong was left standing in the courtyard, still holding the note in his hand, looking up to the sky and sighing:

"All actions are impermanent, this is the law of birth and death, birth and death have ceased, and cessation is happiness... It turns out that the complete Buddha's verse is like this, it is like this."

The front hall of Yunlin Zen Monastery.

Everyone is still "confronting" here. The tall and burly Tutuo guarding the courtyard is blocking the front like a mountain, and behind him is a group of monks.

Ji Ping'an led Ye Hongling and Yu Yu and waited quietly.

At this time, the rays of light fall from the sky, the temple has red walls and yellow tiles, the pilgrims have dispersed, and the temple has become quiet. Only the green pines and cypresses are bathed in golden light.

Looking over the wall, you can see the tall "horse chestnut tree" deep in the Buddhist temple.

"Ji Sichen, it seems that the other party will not agree. I'm afraid your invitation may not be delivered to Master Yihong."

Ye Hongling sent a message into the secret, with an apologetic tone:

"This time, I'm afraid I'll have to make your trip with me go to waste."

Ji Ping'an looked relaxed and asked with a smile: "Shou, do you think what I wrote is a greeting note?"

Ye Hongling looked confused: "Isn't it?"

When she thought about it, the other party's refusal was obvious, and they couldn't really use force. The only card they could play was Ji Ping'an's identity.

If the Great Protector is unwilling to be accommodating, then the only possibility is to write a letter of greeting directly to Master Yihong.

Ji Ping'an smiled and said nothing.

Yu Yu, who was beside him playing with his fingers in boredom, turned his head to the side, stared at the two of them suspiciously, and forcefully inserted:

"What are you two secretly whispering about? You're still transmitting the message secretly! I think these bald donkeys are determined not to let us in. How about I mention one, and we pretend to leave, and then sneak in secretly after dark. Ji Ping'an, don't you bring the Taoist scriptures with you? Call Jiang Jiang out, her invisibility method is very powerful, and ordinary people may not be able to do it..."

The saint is also an unconventional person.

Ye Hongling hesitated. As a military attache within the "established" system, she was inherently resistant to such wild ways.

Daigouin and others had expressionless faces, watching the three people chatting in the group using "Sound Transmission" in front of them, and they could only pretend not to see it.

Anyway, I gave him face, and if I refuse later, even the Qin Tian Jian will have nothing to say.

Just as I was thinking about it, suddenly, Zhi Ke Monk trotted over from a distance with an anxious look on his face. When he saw that Ji Pingan was still there, he couldn't help but breathed a sigh of relief and put on a warm smile on his face:

"Ji Sichen, Master Yihong has seen it."

Everyone looked over with different expressions. They didn't understand why the Zhike monk was "arrogant at first and respectful at the back".

Ji Ping'an said "yes" and said: "How?"

Zhike Monk smiled brightly:

"The abbot ordered me to ask you to wait in the reception room for a while. The master went to bathe and change clothes."

Ji Ping'an nodded, no surprise: "Then let's go."

After saying that, he walked straight towards the depths of the monastery, following the leading monk Zhike.

Only the others were left standing in the evening glow, as stunned as stone sculptures.

I suspect I heard it wrong.

Wha...what?

Master Hongyi invited Ji Pingan into the guest room, bathed and changed clothes... received him personally?

Ye Hongling was stunned.

The female martial artist suspected that she was under an illusion. Even if Ji Ping'an was really a disciple of the national master, Master Yihong had a very high status, and Buddhism had always been unpretentious. Is this possible?
