For me personally, the general context of this type of Conan fanfiction is actually two directions:

The protagonist has shown excellent abilities, so when he fishes and teases Conan in daily life, few people will call him a jerk. Instead, they will smile knowingly and say that this jerk wants to fish again;
Because the protagonist has already had a high-profile performance without relying on Conan in the early shaping stage, so the impression given to readers is not that he is useless without Conan and can only talk nonsense, so readers will naturally be more tolerant.
On the contrary, if the image of ability is not established, it will easily make people feel physiologically disgusted if he uses his prophetic advantage to show off in front of Conan.
After all, in that case, from the reader's perspective, your protagonist is just a pure bastard, just taking advantage of the plot, and using Conan's reasoning to show off in front of Conan. Once, two or three times is fine, any more will easily make people disgusted.
In my opinion, fan fiction is a unique carrier of novels. It prepares the world view for the author, prepares a lot of vivid supporting characters, and even the plot framework and main line are set for you. .
What the author has to do is very simple, just to construct a part of the plot that can fit into this world view on the protagonist he added.
But it’s also difficult, especially since I’m still writing about a policeman as the protagonist, and there’s no system yet.
If you start with a winery, undercover agent, detective or even a killer, and bring a system, the plot arrangement at the beginning will be much easier than the police profession.
The profession of the police is different. This opening is doomed for your protagonist to not be reduced to a supporting role and to hold on to the leading role. He must have his own cases and his own highlights.
