This authority is controlled by the "Di Guan Da Di". Anyone who has achieved the status of heaven, Tao, or Buddha will be granted the power of "pardoning sins" by the Di Guan Da Di.
In other words, they can use their great power and merit to save other people with sinful karma and eliminate their sinful karma, and the underworld also recognizes this.
Ability is one thing, but authority is another. Does Daluo Jinxian have the ability to alleviate other people's sins? Of course there is, but heaven doesn’t give you this authority, and hell doesn’t recognize it, so what can you do?
Unless the person you save will never go to the underworld, but this is impossible. In the three realms, from Hunyuan Wujiluo Jinxian to an ordinary mortal soul, the souls of the underworld will be under the control of the underworld after death. This is a decree of heaven. of rules.
Pardon of sins is also divided into 'pardon of life' and 'pardon of death'. The so-called pardon of life means the forgiveness of a monk or a living being's sins during their lifetime, so that they will not be imprisoned and troubled by their sins.
The pardon can only be accomplished by a Daluo Jinxian, because the power of the Daluo Jinxian is enough to protect a living being from being troubled by its sins.
But pardoning death means that the good and evil sins will be settled in the underworld after death, and this is the most important thing. People who do not have the authority of heaven cannot do this.
But this also leads to another problem. Even if you are pardoned, if you die and return to the underworld, if the person who pardoned you does not have the authority to forgive sins, the underworld will still be reckoned with.
Therefore, Buddhist Bodhisattvas and Buddhas must have the authority to forgive sins. After all, Taoism and Buddhism are senior and prestigious, and Taoism and Buddha are in charge.
Moreover, both Taoism and Buddhism have opened up their own Tao. If Taoism and Buddha no longer exist, the two Tao concepts of 'Tao' and 'Buddha' will always exist and will not disappear.
What about Xuanjiao? As long as Taoist Master Hongjun dies, Xuanjiao will disappear immediately, leaving no trace in the long history.
There are also 'demon', 'devil', 'ghost', 'monster', etc. who enjoy the same treatment as Taoism and Buddha. However, except for the demon which may need some power to forgive sins, the remaining three are basically not needed. .
For example, the Devil's Cult, why do they need the power to forgive sins? We just specialize in committing crimes, right? The more sins you commit, the more 'evil' you become.
As for the real demons of the Demon Sect, it is naturally impossible for the underworld to measure them according to the standards of good and evil of normal creatures. The liquidation process for real demons is different from that for normal creatures.

"I have three refuges in Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. There are the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, the Twelve Causes and Conditions, and the Eight Great Precepts." The Buddha's Sanskrit voice is like thunder, rolling and speaking.
The Great Sun Tathagata said: "Since you take refuge in the Buddha and take the Buddha as your teacher, from today until the end of your life, you must not take refuge in the gods, demons, heretics, evil ghosts and evil spirits. Can you uphold it?"

"Take refuge in the Buddha, the two-legged Buddha, and you will not fall into hell."
"Take refuge in the Dharma, renounce desire, and avoid becoming a hungry ghost."
"Take refuge in the Sangha, the most respected among all, and do not fall into other lives."

However, at this moment, Yuan Kuang's body was filled with rays of holy and pure Buddha's light. It did not feel gloomy and terrifying at all, but instead gave people a feeling of incomparable light.

"Since you have taken refuge in the Buddha, you should wish all sentient beings to understand the Great Way and develop the supreme aspiration."
"Since I have taken refuge in the Dharma, I wish all living beings to delve deeply into the scriptures and gain wisdom like the ocean."
"Since you have taken refuge in the Sangha, you should wish all sentient beings to govern the masses without any hindrance, and to be in harmony with the Southern Saints."

Although Yuan Kuang was blinded directly, so what? If you can become a disciple of a Daluo Jinxian and be directly promoted to a higher realm, what if you become blind? Isn’t this still spiritual?

There is no need for a poor monk to give you guidance. You should go back and study hard for a lifetime. If you can understand it thoroughly, , it will be of great benefit to your practice.”
Lihua was slightly startled when she heard this, and then she realized what she was doing. She bowed to the Great Sun Tathagata and said, "Thank you, Lord Great Sun Tathagata, for your guidance."
I don't know why, deep down in their hearts, Lihua and Zhuang Yantong don't really like the way Great Sun Tathagata 'transfers people', nor do they like this way of teaching Buddhism.
But looking at the monks on the stone platform behind them who were going forward one after another, asking the Great Sun Tathagata for enlightenment and enlightenment like crazy, the two of them looked at each other, and they were very puzzled.
