This lotus pond is made of the seven Buddhist treasures of gold, silver, crystal, glass, coral, amber and clam, and is called the "Seven Treasures Pond".
And because the water in the pool is eight kinds of water, it has eight kinds of free merits, eight kinds of happy merits and eight kinds of subtle and incredible merits, so it is also called the "Eight Merits Pool".
The golden lotus in the pool is swaying, emitting colorful mist and dazzling brilliance. It is the ninth-grade golden lotus of merit and virtue, the most precious treasure of Buddhism that suppresses luck.
This nine-level golden lotus with merit was originally a twelve-level one. It was only because at the time of the catastrophe that the gods were consecrated, it led the saint to have desires and wanted to forcibly transform the Turtle Spirit into the Holy Mother, so that "the water overflows when it is full, and the moon waxes and wanes."
The blood-winged black mosquito, the Hongmeng ferocious beast that he suppressed in the package, took the opportunity to escape. Not only did it eat the Holy Mother Turtle Spirit into an empty shell, but it also sucked up three of the twelve-grade golden lotuses, leaving only the ninth-grade golden lotus.
It is precisely because of this that the foundation of Western religion has been shaken, and it can only turn into a Samana and change its name to "Buddhism".
The nine-grade golden lotus of merit is connected with Buddhist luck. The stronger the luck, the brighter the golden lotus blooms.
Today, of the nine lotuses in the Eight Merit Pools, five have fully bloomed, three have not yet bloomed, and one is still in bud.
Just like Buddhism had already emerged at this time, but it had not yet reached its peak or complete prosperity.
When Avalokitesvara arrived, Tathagata stood by the pool with deep eyes, as if he was admiring the lotus in the pool, and seemed to be looking at more things through the lotus.
Guanyin stepped forward and saluted: "World Honored One."
Tathagata withdrew his gaze and said, "Thank you for your hard work, Your Majesty."
Guanyin hurriedly said: "This is what a disciple should do, and it should not be regarded as hard."
Tathagata asked: "How was this trip?"
Avalokitesvara recounted what happened in Chechi Kingdom and said: "I see that Sun Wukong, my disciple, is not firm in his devotion to the Buddha, and I am afraid he may regret it."
Tathagata said: "That monkey has a rebellious brain and is unwilling to be controlled. Five hundred years under the Five Elements Mountain can only frighten him for a while. His heart has not changed, his nature has not changed, and it is reasonable to have this thought."
Guanyin was a little worried: "The pursuit of Buddhist scriptures in the West is related to the great prosperity of our Buddhism. If Sun Wukong gives up halfway, it will definitely ruin the great cause of our Buddhism."
The Tathagata nodded slightly in agreement and said: "Although that Pohou has regrets, he may not give up halfway. He was born with no father, mother, brothers or brothers, but he also values friendship and kindness. Xuanzang He has the friendship between master and disciple and the grace to get out of trouble, so he will not abandon it easily."
Guanyin hesitated: "World Honored One, is it inappropriate to tie the rise and fall of our Buddhism to a demon monkey?"
Tathagata said: "Your Majesty, it is reasonable to worry. I have other arrangements for this matter."
Seeing the questioning expression on Guanyin's face, Tathagata gave up and said, "Your Majesty, please wait for a moment."
