My thoughts on the mileage medal

ah!

It took almost three years to write a book like this, and I naturally have a lot of emotions. I will briefly write down a few here.

If there are more, I will leave you with my final remarks.

It took about two years and seven months, and I wrote just over 1.3 million words.

From Chapter 400, uploaded on 2019-1-26

To Chapter 500, uploaded on 2020-2-29

So last year I seemed to have written less than 150,000 words.

So what's the result?

Until 2020, which is the last day of 2019.

There are paid chapters in the early 300s, about a million words, and the total number of subscriptions finally exceeded 10,000.

Among them, the proportion of friendly bookings should be more than 50%.

In other words, basically no one is reading this book, I am basically just entertaining myself.

Of course, I can’t blame others. The subject matter is not popular, the updates are slow, the level is limited, etc., and it cannot attract people or retain readers.

For me, writing a book is really not an easy task.

At least this book has exceeded one million words, which is far beyond my ability to control it.

By the way, let me take a look at the conditions I think you should have to write a book:

1. Brain hole: How big your brain hole is, how big and detailed the world you write will be. Without brain hole, everything is empty talk;

2. Accumulation: Accumulation serves the imagination. Accumulation is the key to how to use words to present your imagination to readers.

There is no doubt that my accumulation is far from enough, at least for the current book, it is too strenuous.

I don’t know how many chapters there are, but it is a very touching picture in my mind. After I read it through the text, I only felt that it was only sixty-seven percent of the flavor. I revised and polished it again and again, but it was only an eighty percent of self-comfort.

Another part of the accumulation is the writing style. Although this part is not valued very much by editors and some readers, I am a bit of a literary person and still prefer high-quality writing.

The ones that do this part well are most of the female videos, as well as Mao Ni who wrote "Jian Ye" which I just watched last year;

3. Talent: Talent is a bit mysterious to talk about. It can also be said to be related to accumulation, but it is not necessarily related, because many authors are really young. They can write books with rich content in middle and high school, and even more so in college. Well, I just finished watching "Poor Man" and it really made me feel that talent is something. Maybe others are born standing four hundred meters away, but I spent three or two years thinking about it before I could get past two hundred meters.

4. Perseverance: With the first three, perseverance is not really needed, because writing books is easy for them. It is a favorite thing. There is no need to talk about perseverance in what they like. Without perseverance, there is no need to talk about perseverance.

Only those who are deficient in the first three need this. This may be the only and least important quality that this salted fish like me possesses.

Back to this book, I don’t know if it has been mentioned elsewhere.

As for this book, I had an idea for it a long time ago, but it only has the beginning and end and some scattered fragments.

The middle part is almost equal to zero.

So what I've been doing now is filling.

I hope that the story slates in the middle can be laid out piece by piece in a reasonable manner until the end.

It’s almost done now, and it will be over with about 600,000 words left.

But to be honest, I haven’t figured out how to connect many details yet, so the update speed is still not fast.

Finally, let’s talk about the purpose of opening a chapter.

I originally wanted to start a group when my total booking exceeds 10,000, but I didn’t know if any book friends would come (covering face and laughing)

As a salty fish, I actually don’t want to form a group. Firstly, I’m too lazy to manage it. Secondly, I’m afraid of joining the group. Thirdly, I’m afraid of being urged to update.

But everyone has it, so this book should be there too.

It's just that I came too late with a total order of over 10,000 yuan, and I'm a little frustrated, so I haven't established a group yet.

well!

Now, at least five hundred chapters have been written.

Just create a group, book friends can come in and chat.

emmm, if you are the author of other books, you are also welcome.
