In the data that Mo Chengjun had collected, he saw at least hundreds of sword intentions, such as the endless, fierce, frost, chilling, freezing, and rotating in the "Four Seasons Sword Art".
The atmosphere of "Drinking the River" is majestic, awe-inspiring, vast, heroic, and unrestrained.
The determination, violence, and anger of "Ten Steps to Kill", and the carefree, calm, and peaceful feeling when leaving.
The decisiveness, peace, ruthlessness, fearlessness, indifference, and world-weariness of "Nine Killing Sword Art".
"The Sword Art of No Return and No Regrets" is heroic, strong, no regrets, chilling, ruthless, and proud.
"The Art of Shooting the Heavenly Wolf" contains elements of dissoluteness, pride, pathos, perseverance and unyielding.
The persistence, pride, reluctance, and even contempt in "Heaven's Mark".
Yes, the sword technique may be the same, but everyone's understanding of it is different.
Or, even if they both share the 'killing' sword intention, they understand it slightly differently.
There is only one sword technique, but there are thousands of sword intentions. This is the true portrayal.
But no matter what kind of sword intent it is, monks can understand it from the sword. This will not only allow them to display extremely powerful killing power, but also affect their character.
That's right, the sword's will comes from the state of mind.
And if you indulge in this mentality for a long time, it will subtly change your personality and even distort your nature.
This point is most obvious in "Nine Killing Sword Art".
Because, if you practice this sword skill well, you can be decisive and kill with moderation, but if you practice it poorly, you will be indifferent and fearless. If you practice it poorly, you will be world-weary and heartless.
In addition to this "Sword Art of No Return and No Regrets", if you can achieve great success, then don't think about some despicable and dirty things that harm others and benefit yourself.
With this kind of mentality, sword skills will only regress and will not improve.
For another example, there is a sword art called "Sadly Ecstasy".
You can practice palm or sword practice. When you are successful in sword techniques, you will feel depressed. Over time, you will even lose the motivation to live. The deeper you practice, the more depressed you will be.
After practicing this sword technique, the whole person will exude a melancholy atmosphere and cannot be happy.
Of course, not all sword intentions are good. There is a "Sweeping Willow Art with the Wind", which emphasizes that the body moves with the wind and the sword moves with it, taking the true meaning of "dexterity".
But there was a fellow disciple who had mastered the sword intent of 'grass on the wall'.
The whole person seems to have no opinion. What others say is what he is. He is good at eloquence and can even fool him. If he doesn't contribute anything to the task, there is really no one else!
There is another high-quality sword art collected in Zangfa Pavilion - "Sword Art to Stop the Fight", which is taken from the true meaning of killing to stop killing and fighting to stop war.
This true meaning is good, but the sword technique has gone off the rails, and when practiced, it becomes a method of killing without stopping and nourishing the sword with blood.
It also caused great chaos in the world of immortality, but was quelled by the Galaxy Sword Sect.
In the end, the sword art was also included, and on the fifth floor of the Tibetan Dharma Building, fewer people could watch the content.
I have to say that after seeing so much, Mo Chengjun really felt like Grandma Liu was dazzled when she entered the Grand View Garden.
As time went by, he collected more and more information.
No one knows exactly how many people there are in the Galaxy Sword Sect. After all, immortal cultivators have long lives, and it is common for those old monsters to close up and not move around for ten or eight years.
However, after Mo Chengjun collected about 2,000 specific records of Jianyi, the inspection and census work basically stopped.
They rested, but Mo Chengjun couldn't rest. He still buried himself in numerous data tables.
With the deepening and meticulous research, and in conjunction with the first conclusion of Sword Intent, Mo Chengjun has another question that is about to come out?
The practice of swordsmanship is to lay the foundation for sword art, and the practice of sword art is to understand the meaning of the sword.
So, where does the sword intent come from?
The answer given by Mo Chengjun is: smelting!
Each sword art has its own characteristics and its own personality.
The process of practicing sword art is actually the collision between the personality of the sword art and the personality of the practitioner.
It is a game between each other, and finally the recognition between the two, until they are melted into one furnace.
This allows practitioners to immerse themselves in a special mentality and refine their own pure will.
This is the second conclusion of Sword Intent.
The short name is Sword Theory II.
When Mo Chengjun understood these two key points in one fell swoop, the sword intention had already taken preliminary shape in his mind.
This made him very excited and gave him the illusion that he had touched the truth. He was even happy for several days.
However, when the research went a step further, it got stuck again.
Because, now, there is only one question before him - driven by pure will, why can the magic of heaven and earth burst out with energy far beyond ordinary?
This is what Mo Chengjun really wants to know, and it is also the most critical question!
And as the data became more and more abundant and the records became more and more complete, many bold ideas came to his mind.
First of all, we still have to affirm the existence basis of the 'Law of Conservation of Energy'.
Well, if this law is rejected, then whatever Mo Chengjun studies will be wrong.
In other words, one kilogram of TNT, no matter what, can only explode 4,200 kilojoules of energy after explosion, which is immutable.
So, under the sword intention, why are the attacks sent out qualitatively improved?
The first thing that came to Mo Chengjun's mind was the situation of 'remaining energy'.
Assume that the magic of heaven and earth is a kind of energy, but the use of energy also requires methods.
If it is not guided and used properly, it may not fully explode.
Just like a kilogram of TNT, only one-tenth of a kilogram of TNT fully explodes due to improper detonation, and the energy released is naturally less.
And what about Sword Intent?
That is another better and more appropriate way to detonate.
Therefore, one kilogram of TNT detonated five-tenths this time, and its power was naturally increased several times.
Mo Chengjun specifically provided a new term for this hypothesis - the utilization rate of heaven and earth.
The analogy is what he knows, the definition of energy utilization in an ecosystem.
Of course, there is another question worth digging into - that is, why is it easier to activate the energy of heaven and earth through pure will?
At first glance, this question looks similar to the previous one, but upon closer inspection, the connotation is completely different.
However, Mo Chengjun did not dwell on it. Instead, he put the issue aside and put forward a second hypothesis - the possibility of 'waste of energy'.
In modern science, a very important topic is the problem of loss in energy transmission.
Whether it is electricity running in the circuits of thousands of households, or your cars, trucks, etc., there is always a loss in energy transmission, so that it cannot be used to its maximum effect.
By analogy, all Mo Chengjun could think of was that the magic of heaven and earth had really worked, just like one kilogram of TNT actually bursting out 4,200 kilojoules of energy.
But this part of the energy is just energy. If it is converted into the lethality required by the sword, or the effect required by the spell, there will always be a loss during the energy transfer, and then its power will be weakened.
Mo Chengjun still has some thoughts on this point.
Because the closed loops of channels constructed by the spiritual texts are all triggered by the spiritual machine of heaven and earth. It seems reasonable that the spiritual machine of heaven and earth runs around in it and loses some.
In this direction, Mo Chengjun calls it the 'transmission loss' of heaven and earth's wisdom.
Okay, the analogy is the energy transfer loss in the ecosystem.
With this second direction in mind, Mo Chengjun's thoughts diverged and he thought of the third direction - the diffusion of the spiritual power of heaven and earth.
Theoretically speaking, when one kilogram of TNT explodes, 4,200 kilojoules of energy are turned into shock waves in all directions, which is indeed very powerful.
But in a single direction, it can only withstand so much power.
Shock waves on other surfaces have no effect on people who are only in this direction?
Therefore, Mo Chengjun's idea is that the spread of heaven and earth's spiritual power is actually similar.
Even if the sword cultivator attacks with a sword, in the process, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth will lose most of its energy due to diffusion.
And what role does the sword intention play?
It should be a kind of restraint, a condensing effect, which condenses and releases the spreading spiritual energy of heaven and earth in the same direction, thereby producing more powerful power.
This idea also has some basis.
Because, almost every sword cultivator will find it more difficult to control than usual when controlling sword attacks.
From this perspective, if you want to restrain more energy, it will naturally be more difficult and require stronger spiritual power.
three aspects,
Three conjectures,
These are the three hypotheses generated by Mo Chengjun at this stage of his research.
He doesn’t know which one is right!
Or maybe all three are wrong, which is unknown!
He was still not too impatient, but went back to sort out the information, analyze the data, and bring in his own conclusions one and two. He would refine it bit by bit to see if there were any unexplainable paradoxes.
If there is, first pick out this example, then find the person, chat, talk, watch his sword skills and watch him practice his sword intention.
Go deep into it and see if there are any recorded errors.
Or maybe there are situations that really violate the conclusion.
Facts have proved that in most cases, the other party is hiding something.
After all, no one wants to appear naked in front of others, and everyone wants to keep some trump cards for themselves!
This is the human heart, of course it’s true, and Mo Chengjun can’t say anything about it.
Of course, there are a few cases where he really can't find anything unreasonable.
He let go of all these.
In theory, a truth should be consistent with all situations, but in reality, there are too many uncontrollable factors, and there are always some exceptions.
There is no need to worry about these for now!
By the time this verification work was completed again, Mo Chengjun was basically certain that his conclusions one and two were both valid.
So, what we need to do now is to verify, how does the sword intention produce a doubled burst effect?
This makes it impossible to conduct statistical analysis of data. Instead, we have to conduct experiments and find possibilities in the process of experiments.
Of course, this experiment was not done casually. He had to find a way to determine several variables.
Then fix one of them as 'variable' and keep the others unchanged. Finally, eliminate external interference and conduct experiments again and again to seek the required information and conclusions.
This is not an easy process. Just the experimental design requires a lot of effort.
It is also necessary to identify the experimenter, monitor his condition at all times, and ensure that his data are stable as much as possible.
Well, what Mo Chengjun is also confused about now is that he doesn't know Sword Intention, otherwise it would be much easier to monitor him.
Who would be happy to monitor other people?
Well, there was really a willing one, Baling'er, who truly became Mo Chengjun's first experimental subject.
For this position, he even had to pay the price of not practicing for at least half a year. He could only maintain the current level and was not allowed to improve or decline.
At this point, Baling'er agreed.
He also fought hard for the magical power of swordsmanship.
Then, spring passes and summer comes again, and autumn and winter have arrived.
During the experiment, time seemed to fly by. With all the busy work, two years had passed!
