"They are all endless?! No matter up or down; what is endless is human cognition; and the world is endless!"
While repeating these words, Lao Dan closed his eyes, took the initiative to break the visual "obstacle", and carefully understood what the Buddha Sakyamuni had just said.
"Master, you just said that that is the perception of ordinary people. Aren't we all ordinary people? How can we become extraordinary?"
Confucius raised his own new question.
"This, whether we want to be an ordinary person or a saint, how to distinguish, what is an 'ordinary person' and what is a 'saint', let me tell you!
Sakyamuni straightened his sitting posture and continued to preach:
"The so-called 'ordinary people' are everywhere around us: you, me, and him. The four of us are all ordinary people. But not everyone is lucky enough to live in this world as a 'human body'. "
"What, not 'human body'?"
Little friend Kongqiu interrupted again. He was very interested in this topic.
Shakya nodded towards Confucius and then said:
"In addition to those in the human body, there are six kinds of ordinary beings in the three realms. Although they are all ordinary beings, because of the different realms of good and evil karma, they are divided into six kinds, called six ordinary beings, also called the six paths.
One is: 'The Way of Heaven'. They are all beings in the heavenly realm. There are three realms and twenty-eight heavens there. There are six levels upward from the human world, called the "Desire Realm Heaven". Because it is full of male and female lust, it is called the Desire Realm. There are four jhanas and eighteen heavens above the Desire Realm, which are called the "Color Realm Heavens". Because there is no sexual desire between men and women, only the solemn form of color, it is called the 'Color Realm'. Among the four jhanas, the first, second, and third jhanas each have three days, and the fourth jhana has nine days, which together make up eighteen days. There are four levels beyond the form realm, called the "Colorless Realm Heaven". Because it has no form or form, it is called the "colorless" realm. It only exists spiritually and mentally, and is usually in a state of tranquility and concentration, so it is called the "Four Formless Concentrations", also called the "Four Sky-Heavens".
The second is: 'humanity'. Refers to human beings. Most of the Buddhas, sages and saints appeared in the human world. Although they were in the human world and had mixed joys and sorrows, they were particularly good at distinguishing the causes and consequences of things. After practicing Taoism, they could understand the truth and eliminate confusion, and finally they could transform into saints. "
"Ah! In other words, it is possible for someone among us to become a 'saint', as long as we practice well?"
Lao Dan's eyes were full of hope, and he couldn't help but add a few words to this sentiment.
"Yes, little friends, you can do it. I will continue:
The third is: 'The Path of Asura'. This belongs to the non-heavenly path, which is a kind of powerful ghosts and gods with supernatural powers and power but no virtue. They command Yaksha, Rakshasa, etc., headed by Asura, so it is called the 'Asura' path.
The fourth is: 'animal way'. Including cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and all insects, birds, wild beasts, etc. These living beings are mostly controlled by nature in their living places and have no ability to change their environment. Some live dependent on humans, such as cattle, sheep, chickens, dogs, etc.; some eat the weak and the strong, such as tigers and wolves eating deer and rabbits, eagles and harriers eating birds and insects, and so on. "
"Survival of the fittest! This is the law of nature, the biological chain!"
As a literary scholar, Xinwu secretly corresponds to the knowledge belonging to the 21st century.
Shakya did not hear what Wenzi was thinking. He just paused for a moment and then continued:
"The fifth is: 'Hungry Ghost Path'. This is a kind of ghost that is lonely, poor, and suffering. It is always hungry and thirsty, wandering around asking for food. The Buddhist scriptures say that there are people who have not heard the sound of liquid for thousands of years. , often suffer from hunger and thirst, so they are called 'hungry ghosts'.
Sixth is: 'Hell Realm'. That is, the place of suffering in the underground prison has names such as "Eight Colds", "Eight Heats", and "Wu Jian". "
Hearing this, the classic movie scene of "On the rooftop, Tony Leung pointed a gun at Andy Lau" suddenly appeared in front of Wenzi's version of Xin Wu, and three words were written in large letters:
"Infernal Affairs"!
I don’t know, the bad policeman played by Andy Lau has always wanted to be a "good policeman", but "cannot get it"; and the undercover agent played by Tony Leung Chiu-wai has always been among the bad guys, but "comes out of the filth and remains untainted", I have always been a "good policeman" with a clear conscience. Does this "inseparable" of "you are in me and you are in me" have the same meaning as the "inseparable" that Sakyamuni talks about at this time?
After holding it in for a while, Wenzi finally couldn't bear it anymore and decided to ask:
"Excuse me, Master! Like a good person who has been among bad people all year round. In order to be a good person, he becomes like a bad person, but he is actually a good person. On the other hand, there is a bad person who has been pretending to be a good person and is among the good people. Doing bad things. Of these two minds, who is tortured more? Who is enduring the pain of the 'Infernal Affairs' path more?"
As soon as Shakya finished speaking about "Infinite", he immediately received precise questions from Wenzi's friend and co-interpreter. He couldn't help but nodded frequently and replied with admiration:
"Naturally, the bad guy pretending to be a good guy suffered more mental torture, and his body and mind were wandering in pain in the 'infernal realm', without any peace."
Lao Dan and Confucius both looked confused because they didn't translate this answer in time, and couldn't help but urge Wenzi to translate it for them.
Wenzi quickly translated it and gave it to these two little friends. As a result, Lao Dan became enlightened and added one more sentence based on his understanding:
"Isn't that the 'yang within the yin' and 'yin within the yang' in the 'yin and yang fish' picture? They are in the same position and in the same situation. There shouldn't be any feeling that one is more miserable than the other!"
"Well! This comment from little friend Lao Dan is what we call 'non-discrimination'. Obviously, little friend Lao Dan has a better understanding of whether this matter is good or bad than little friend Wenzi. Friends’ level of understanding has reached a higher level!”
Sakyamuni praised Lao Dan so much that Wenzi could not help but admire him:
"Lao Dan is indeed Lao Dan! In this life, it really makes sense to worship him as my teacher!"
"Actually, what little friend Wenzi just said about 'good' or 'bad', we have a way of saying: it's called good and evil. Among the six paths, 'the path of heaven', 'the path of humanity' and 'the path of Asura' belong to the three good paths; The 'Hell Realm', the 'Hungry Ghost Realm' and the 'Animal Realm' belong to the three evil realms. Cultivating and tempering your own moral character throughout your life can lay the foundation for which path you will become in the future, that is, 'plant the cause' . Good deeds will be rewarded with good deeds, and evil deeds will be rewarded with evil deeds. It’s not that you won’t be rewarded, the time will come.”
"Only do good things, not bad things; only do good things, not bad things..."
After hearing what Sakyamuni said, I watched too many TV series and Wenzi versions of Xinwu with my mother, and the scene in "Jigong Living Buddha" when "cutting off the big tumor" appeared again. Facing the Buddha statue, Monk Jigong's crazy mouth This is the string of words that I kept repeating.
