But even so, Qin Qiong and Yuchi Gong couldn't stand guard every day, so they later asked a painter to draw their portraits and paste them on the palace gate. They could also play a role in guarding the house and warding off evil spirits. Over time, this This method spread from the palace, and the common people also rushed to imitate it. This is the origin of the door god.
But in fact, before Qin Qiong and Yuchi Gong, door gods had already appeared, but they were just not as famous as these two!
