In fact, a large part of the reason why Mount Tai is famous is also due to the fact that it is full of various mythological colors. Almost all the legendary gods that most people are familiar with can find their temples on Mount Tai.
However, what I am very curious about is why the temple of Binlinggong, the god of the three mountains of Mount Tai, appears here?
Why do I ask this, because if I remember correctly, there is a temple of Lord Bingling on Mount Tai!
Wouldn’t that be a repeat of this one?
Could it be said that this temple is what Binglingggong Temple looked like at the beginning? Later, because it was dilapidated, the site was re-selected and built, right?
That shouldn't be the case. The Binglinggong Temple on Mount Tai was built during the Tang and Song Dynasties. Although this temple looks dilapidated, it doesn't look like it did before the Tang and Song Dynasties!
I don’t understand this, but the words in the temple never lie!
Looking back on this Bingling Gong, many people may not have heard of it.
Bingling Gong, also known as the Third Prince Bingling, is the third son of Emperor Dongyue, the god of Mount Tai. He is one of the very important immortals in Taoism. Before the Tang Dynasty, it was said that he was a villain, with gorgeous horses and servants, and a confession like a peak king, " The people of Lu are in awe and fear more than the people of Tianqi." During the Changxing period of the later Tang Dynasty, Emperor Mingzong was not hesitant. A monk from Mount Tai gave medicine and said that he had met an immortal on Mount Tai. At the request of the monk, he named Taishan Lang the "Mighty General".
In "The Romance of the Gods", Huang Feihu's son Huang Tianhua was once named Bingling Gong. Of course, this statement is for reference only.
So, is this the temple of Lord Bingling?
However, it is indeed miserable enough. It is incomparable to the one on Mount Tai. Not to mention the prosperity, at least it is magnificent!
And what about this? Not even a decent facility.
Facing the dilapidated mud body of Lord Bingling, I bowed deeply, then lit three sticks of incense and inserted them into the gaps in the table of the altar, adding a touch of incense to the temple.
Then he muttered silently: "Prince Bingling of the Immortal Family, I accidentally entered your mansion, and there will be many troubles. Please bear with me!"
Although it is nonsense, our basic etiquette cannot be wasted.
Afterwards, I walked around the temple roughly. It was probably nothing special. It was just an ordinary run-down temple. Fortunately, the doors and windows here were still good and had basic opening and closing capabilities.
I looked out the window and before I knew it, it was getting dark. It was probably impossible for me to go up the mountain in the dark!
The mountain road has eighteen bends. I don’t know where I’ve walked now. After falling down the mountain, it’s still so desolate. I guess no one will even notice me if I die.
A thought occurred to me, otherwise, I would have to deal with Yixu here?
It's not impossible. Anyway, I had almost slept in the hospital before. Even if I meditated this night, it would be completely fine.
He nodded secretly in his heart, and then bowed to the half of the clay sculpture again and said: "If you disturb the pure place of the Immortal Family, please allow me to stay here for one more night. I will leave early tomorrow morning. Thank you very much!"
Let me say it first, lest something unexpected happens later and I say I don't understand etiquette.
So, I closed all the doors and windows of the temple, and then sat down cross-legged in front of the clay sculpture.
As soon as I sat down, my perspective moved downwards. Just when my line of sight was at the same level as the bottom of the altar table, I suddenly discovered something that made me frown!
Under the offering table, there was actually a black and carved coffin! !
I almost jumped up!
You can imagine the scene. A desolate ruined temple in the mountains. No one has set foot in it for a long time. But inside the ruined temple, there is a black coffin. Just thinking about it makes people get goosebumps all over their bodies!
My body began to move backwards slowly and unconsciously. As I moved backwards, I touched the pillars in the temple and began to look at the coffin.
It's not completely dark yet, and there's enough light for me to see the coffin clearly.
The black coffin is completely black, and the carvings on it should be traditional patterns, with hundreds of birds facing the phoenix. After the carving was completed, it was outlined again with gold paint, making it look extremely luxurious!
Just looking at this coffin is worth my money. Who would put the coffin in this ruined temple that no one cares about?
And the more I looked at this coffin, the more I felt something was wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
After observing for a long time, I finally figured out what was wrong!
It's the size!
That's right, even in terms of size, this coffin is a bit too small compared to ordinary coffins!
If you look at the size of a normal person, this coffin obviously cannot fit in it. A rough estimate is that it is only a little over one meter long at most.
Could it be that Wu Dalang is here?
After observing it for a long time, my curiosity about the black coffin gradually outweighed my fear, and I unknowingly came closer to the coffin again.
Rubbing my chin, I started to think about it. According to the appearance of this coffin, it should be quite valuable. I don’t know how long it has been here, but no one has taken it away yet. This is quite strange!
Even if no one dares to take it, someone should have discovered it. Why is it still lying here quietly?
Under the influence of many psychological factors, I actually had the idea of opening it and taking a look.
Finally thinking about it, it seems that there is still something wrong. Opening the coffin casually, if there is a real owner lying inside, it is also a kind of disrespect to the deceased.
Disrespect for the deceased is the Taoist's number one taboo!
However, staying with such a coffin always makes me feel alienated!
I took the opportunity to glance out the window. After a while, it was already completely dark, which completely eliminated my idea of leaving here.
My heart went crazy, so I didn’t care. It was just a coffin. I had been in the cemetery, so it didn’t matter!
But to be on the safe side, I stuck a few Jiaxu ghost-suppressing charms on the coffin, so that if anything happened to this thing, I would still have insurance.
After doing all this, I sighed, then found an angle where I couldn't see the coffin, and sat down cross-legged.
In order to divert my attention away from the coffin, I quickly entered a state of cultivation and started to circulate Yang Qi!
I don’t know how long time passed. It was about midnight, and there seemed to be waves of wind in my ears. Then, a wave of tiny footsteps slowly came from the temple...
