Just when Luo Binhan was shocked by the scene in front of him, Momolo suddenly turned around and faced him and Kaiore solemnly.
"There's something I want to ask you," Momolo said.
Luo Binhan stared ahead absentmindedly: "What's the matter?"
"Are you two afraid of heights?" Momolo said, "If you are afraid, you can hold my hand, but please don't look down."
Hearing his reminder, Luo Binhan and Kaiore looked down at the bottom of the boat. They discovered that the whirlpool of fire had spread beneath the Silence.
The bow began to tilt toward the bottom of the whirlpool. The feeling is like the moment when a roller coaster has just climbed over the top of the mountain and is about to dive downwards.
"Hey, wait, wait," Luo Binhan said, "Actually, I..."
The bow of the ship suddenly sank and rushed towards the bottom of the whirlpool. Luo Binhan hugged Momoluo and screamed loudly - it was not so much fear, but more of an instinctive reaction when people are in roller coaster mode. What's worse is that the ship doesn't go straight down, but spirals in the direction of the swirling flow. That tilting feeling made Luo Binhan want to vomit even more, and he vowed that he would stay away from pirate ships and roller coasters in amusement parks for the rest of his life.
Keore is much calmer in comparison. He firmly anchored himself to the railing with his excellent physical fitness as a soldier.
"Behind!" he shouted to Momolo in the strong wind, "people behind!"
Luo Binhan knew what he was referring to. After all, the Silence is still a solid ship (but being able to sail in a sea of fire obviously does not rely on physical solidity), but there is also a floating frame with eight sides of ventilation hanging at the back of the ship, which is made entirely of several surfboards. There was no way the people on top could maintain their balance during such a violent impact. Once they fall off the crowded platform, they will perish in a sea of fire.
However, Momolo was not anxious at all.
"No--question--" His unhurried voice was drawn out by the strong wind, "The floating-force-board-self-bring-weight-force-"
Luo Binhan glanced back amid this earth-shaking chaos. It's not clear what's going on behind the boat from here, but you can vaguely see the edge of the crowd. They were still swarming on the platform, probably screaming, but no one seemed to have been thrown out.
"Don't worry about it at all," Momolo said in his hypnotic tone, "It's almost here."
The last sentence made Luo Binhan feel very ominous. He turned his head and found that the sky wall was as dark as night in front of the ship. The distance between the two sides was so close that Luo Binhan could even see how the stars on its surface flickered and moved. In the ink-dark night there are spiral galaxies, burning stars, and several stars orbiting them.
"Hey, did I see the solar system?" Luo Binhan said.
Before he could hear Momolo's answer, the Silence crashed straight into the starry darkness.
The darkness stuck coldly to Luo Binhan's skin. It felt a bit like diving into water, but it was not suffocating. It was also soft and sticky, which reminded Luo Binhan of dark chocolate sauce. He wanted to open his mouth to speak, but all that came into his mouth was wind.
The feeling of being stuck in the mud lasted for a second, and then they emerged from the darkness.
The surroundings were incredibly bright. Luo Binhan first covered his face with his arms, and then looked up covertly. He saw a clear blue sky above him.
"Huh?" he said in surprise, "It's dawn?"
Then he started falling downwards.
The entire Silence fell sharply from the clouds toward the green earth below. Luo Binhan subconsciously wanted to hug Momoluo, but the other party turned into a ball of white light and disappeared.
He jumped in the air and almost fell off the deck because of his instability. Fortunately, the Silence suddenly stopped falling.
A huge silver finger reached out. To Luo Binhan, the fingertips looked like the front end of a shield machine, easily pushing Luo Binhan back to the inside of the deck.
Luo Binhan was startled. He felt that the fingers were as hard as a marble wall, without any touch of life, but at the same time they were quite warm, as if there was heat radiating from inside.
Momolo's voice said in his heart: "Mr. Luo, please don't move. It's very dangerous at high altitudes."
Luo Binhan raised his head and was not surprised to see a silvery, toy-like giant face outside the boat. It held the boat with its left palm, rested its fingers on the side, and stared at the deck with its pupil-less bulb eyes.
"What kind of monster is that!" Keore exclaimed in horror, pulling out a short gun from his waist. Luo Binhan quickly held him down.
"I understand, I understand that you don't have special photos there, right?" He said, "It's okay, this is the one who was chatting with you just now."
Keore dropped the gun in a daze. "Mo, Mr. Momolo?" he stammered.
The giant's head outside the boat was gleaming with divine light, and he nodded gently and slowly. Luo Binhan sat on the deck and patted Kaiore's back very calmly: "Brother, it's okay. Don't be sad, don't be afraid, look forward to tomorrow with full confidence."
"Mr. Luo's words feel very positive," Momolo said happily in his heart, "It's like the words my seniors used to encourage me in the past."
"Can it be different?" Luo Binhan said, "This is the fucking theme song of your senior."
The silver stone giant slowly landed. He landed on a flat and empty green field, first putting down the Silence in his left hand, and then the buoyancy board in his right hand. The more than a thousand people above did not look chaotic. Most of them were wearing uniforms similar to Keore's. They linked arms and formed a human wall around the edge of the floating board, with various people in the middle. Luo Binhan even found a few young children in the crowd.
Kyore hurriedly climbed down the rope ladder from the Silence and ran towards his compatriots. Luo Binhan looked at his back, suddenly feeling a strange feeling of envy. Only at this moment did he feel strongly that he was far away from his homeland alone.
At this time, Jing Huang stepped on red clouds and descended from the sky. He landed on the deck and said, "There is a forest three miles to the southeast. Let them go there."
"Why are you going to the forest?" Luo Binhan asked strangely.
"The food on the ship is not enough for them." Jing Huang said, "Let them hunt and gather food on their own. Why do so many people want to continue to eat for nothing?"
Luo Binhan's sadness disappeared instantly. He now feels that it is quite good to be alone.
After the chaos of the landing ended, Kaiore brought a middle-aged man to the Silence. The man had a strong body and sharp eyes like an eagle. His military uniform was more elegant than Kaiore's, and there was a gold-rimmed lily on the front of his military cap.
Kaiore introduced them to them as the supreme commander of the First Fleet. Before he could say the commander's name, Jing Huang had already floated away on the red clouds.
"He has an urgent need to urinate." Luo Binhan explained seasonedly.
Yaleriga assumed her duties as the ship's mate and stepped forward to negotiate with the oppressive commander. They introduced themselves in a ceremonial manner, and the commander immediately asked about their next trip.
"We will send you back to your original universe." Yaleriga said.
The commander showed no emotion, he had obviously known about this from Keore. "Our universe is huge," he said. "There are areas that we don't have control over, and we can't survive without our ships and equipment."
Yaleriga started to fiddle with the thin metal chain on her horn again. "The captain will find a way," she said. "He will try to get you back to safety, but it will take a while. You will have to wait here for a few days."
The two men then discussed issues such as food, accommodation and safety. That was far more boring than Luo Binhan imagined, so his attention quickly shifted to the surrounding environment.
He discovered the barrel that had previously contained "barnacles." It tipped over in the chaos, and the dangerous black crustaceans scattered across the deck. But at this moment, they seemed to be no longer threatening - their shells turned into a lifeless pale white at some point, and they did not try to gather or stick to the deck.
Luo Binhan boldly kicked a nearby one with his toes.
The "barnacle" rolled twice without any resistance, and a white five-petal flower grew out of the carapace.
