With the loading and unloading equipment in place, all that remains is the installation of the concentrator. [No pop-up novel website] The Ministry of Metallurgical Industry has installed a set of mineral processing plant equipment brought from old time and space in Lingao. In order to save shipping tonnage and accumulate experience for future metallurgical machinery manufacturing, it was finally decided to install a self-made mineral processing equipment in Sanya.
The infrastructure project of the mineral processing plant was completed years ago. The technology of the mineral processing plant is not complex. The General Machinery Factory has accumulated some experience in manufacturing mineral processing equipment - it has built a coal preparation plant for Jiazi Coal Mine in the past.
The mineral processing plant is more complex than the coal washing plant. The technical requirements are also high. Since Chuanchuan Group cannot manufacture large-scale electromagnets, magnetic beneficiation is completely impossible. The concentrator can only rely on the technically simple hydraulic jigging beneficiation method. This process has relatively low technical requirements for equipment.
In order to facilitate smelting, iron ore must undergo certain screening before being transported to steel plants. The purpose of screening is to improve the efficiency of smelting, increase the iron tapping ratio, and improve the efficiency of coal use. Iron ore with an iron content of more than 65% can be directly used for open-hearth steelmaking, and more than 45% is used for blast furnace ironmaking. Ores with less than 45% must be screened, crushed and sintered to increase the iron content of the ore. Only when 45% or above can iron be smelted. Less than 25% is considered poor ore and is generally discarded. One characteristic of China's iron ore mines is that there are many poor ores, so steel companies generally import iron ore. The imported iron ore is basically concentrate powder that has been processed in the mineral processing plant.
The ores in Tiandu and Shilu are rich ores, and there are not high requirements for increasing the iron content through screening of the ores. The concentrator is mainly based on ore crushing and classification. Whether it is an open hearth or a blast furnace, iron ore needs to be crushed to a certain particle size in order to be fully utilized. The ore particles must be fine and consistent in size to increase steel production.
Sanya's mineral processing plant is located in Tiandu Town, where Tiandu Mining Bureau is located - it is convenient to use the water source of Tiandu River Reservoir nearby: The jig method requires a large amount of water: approximately 3,000 to 4,000 liters of water are required for each ton of ore processed. It is a large consumer of water resources. Therefore, the mineral processing plant has also built a water recycling and recycling system. Including drainage channels, three-stage sedimentation tanks, filter tanks and pumping equipment. Ore dressing mainly utilizes the buoyancy of water and does not have high requirements on water quality itself. Simple treated recycled wastewater can be used.
After the ore is delivered to the concentrator by rail car, it is first crushed. The crushing is done three times, coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing. Finally, the iron ore is broken into 5-10mm ore particles. The ore is first poured into a cylindrical crusher. The principle of the crusher is very simple. It is a large cylinder with many cast iron bars installed inside. The cylinder rotates at high speed driven by the belt to crush the iron ore in the cylinder. The crushing rods inside the crusher come in different sizes and can be replaced to adjust the crushing size. However, in order to meet the requirements of continuous production, the mineral processing plant uses a special crusher for each process to save the time spent on replacing the crushing rods.
After each crushing is completed, the ore must be poured into a vibrating screening machine. The crushed ore particles are separated through vibration screening. The ore that meets the criteria for entering the next step is poured into the second crusher, and the ore that cannot pass through the screen holes is returned. Processing continues in coarse crusher.
After the third crushing, the ore is poured into the spiral separator for beneficiation. The spiral separator is very efficient at processing ore, and the metal ore recovery rate can reach 96% - and the labor intensity is very low. The spiral separator looks like a spiral slide in a park. The principle is: under the action of water, the ore flows downward along the spiral due to gravity. Due to friction and centrifugal force, the lighter waste rock particles move close to the outer edge of the spiral groove, while the heavier ore changes sides. Move down the inside line. At a certain position, the ore particles are discharged by the interceptor installed on the inner edge of the spiral groove.
After passing through the spiral separator, it is the middle mine. The medium ore is processed through hydraulic screening and then shaken, and the final product is concentrate. As for the medium ore, it itself can be used for repeated jigging processes.
The entire mineral processing plant is equipped with jigs, vibration screening machines, spiral separators, crushers, hydraulic screens and water shakers. In addition, a 20 cubic meter volume ore sintering furnace is planned to be built to sinter ore powder. After testing, the entire mineral processing plant can process 3o tons of ore per hour. Since the equipment is relatively simple, it is easy to expand the treatment capacity as long as sufficient water sources are ensured.
The waves along the coast of Mayao Peninsula are lapping at the fringing reefs, and several small boats are moored in the small bays on the shore, undulating with the waves. The land here is barren, with weeds and bare red earth everywhere. A few trees swayed in the sea breeze. There are no rice fields that are common on both sides of the Wenlan River on the Mayao Peninsula. There are a few dry fields dotted between large tracts of uncultivated wasteland. In the old days, this place was the so-called "Gold Medal Port Economic Development Zone", an economic development zone of Hainan Province. . However, in the old days, despite its auspicious name, the Gold Medal Development Zone still struggled. A series of large-scale projects such as the ro-ro terminal project in 1989 and the 6 million tons annual oil refining project in 1993 failed to settle here. Until the beginning of the 21st century, this area was just an industrial land reserve.
In this time and space, the Planning Institute positioned this place as the future heavy industrial zone of Lingao. Since the red-brand development zone had been stumbling in the old time and space, the Planning Institute finally named this place "Ma Niao Industrial Zone."
Originally, for safety reasons, the steel and heavy chemical companies that crossed the group were generally located in the Wenlan River estuary area and outside Bairen City. That is to say, it is limited by the available land area - most of the paddy fields along the river have been cultivated for many years. It is a waste for agriculture to use it as an industrial zone. The construction treatment of the paddy field foundation is also very troublesome - the development potential is limited. There are also increasingly serious problems of water pollution and air pollution. In the plan, the Planning Institute will gradually transfer the large-scale production bases of the steel and chemical industries to the development zone of Ma Niao Peninsula.
After the Battle of Chengmai, the power of the Senate expanded to the entire Hainan Island, and the Mayao Peninsula, which was originally close to the front line, became the core area of the Lingao regime. Ma Niao Commune is "time-tested"; the sea control of the Qiongzhou Strait is controlled by the navy, and the Sixth Army base of the Fubo Army is located in Ma Niao Commune. The safety of the newly built steel and heavy chemical industrial zones has been reliably guaranteed.
Mayao Peninsula faces the sea on three sides, Hongpai Port to the east and Qiongzhou Strait to the north. It is 65 kilometers away from Haikou Health Station and 12 kilometers away from Lingao County. The development area planned by the construction company consists of two groups in the east and west, with a planned area of 2o.5 square kilometers. The land here is open and flat, mostly dry land with only a few paddy fields. The infrastructure is in good condition. The total permanent population of the local area is only nearly a thousand saltworks workers and their families in Ma Niao Commune, and there are no residential areas that require large-scale relocation. It is suitable to be developed into a large-scale industrial zone.
The development zone itself has a natural port called Hongpai Port, and the total length of the coastline in the zone is about 16.5 kilometers. There are certain conditions for building a port. The road construction implemented by the Planning Institute in Lingao County: the "Small Cross Road" plan has been completed. At that time, construction of the Bopu-Manao Highway, which was started urgently in preparation for the war, was completed with the day and night construction work of thousands of prisoner-of-war laborers. The transportation links for the construction of industrial zones have been initially resolved.
According to the plan, the third phase of expansion of the steel industry should have started in April 163o. However, due to the impact of the Battle of Chengmai, work was in a semi-stop state for a time. However, the project was resumed as soon as the war ended. Thanks to the dividends of the war - a large number of captive laborers were put into use, the project barely caught up with the progress. As the Fubo Army began to occupy the entire Hainan Island, the collection and transportation of many materials was greatly accelerated, especially the large amount of wood needed for construction, and the supply began to become sufficient.
Ji Wusheng was wearing a dusty, black overalls and stood on a hill made of waste soil, overlooking the entire construction site of the steel complex. The future Ma Niao Iron and Steel Complex will rise in this barren land. This is the temporary construction headquarters: the temporary house converted from a container is on the compacted flat land on the top of the hill. The blades of wind turbines and anemometers rotate rapidly in the sea breeze.
Underneath the hillside are temporary work sheds designed for skilled workers to live in. The chimney of a boiler is smoking, providing hot water and hot meals to the entire construction site. Drinking water is delivered by water tankers pulled by oxen carts from the water plant at the Majiao base a few kilometers away. The water from the Ma Niao River has been purified there, and is safe for consumption after being sent here and boiled.
The manpower for the project came from prisoners captured during the second anti-encirclement and suppression campaign, as well as "special laborers" captured during the security wars in Danzhou, Chengmai, Wenchang, Qiongshan and other places. They all live in the prisoner camp at the Ma Niao 6th Army Base and come to the construction site in squadron units every day. The other part comes from the "dispatched labor" of various communes and direct recruitment of labor - participating in construction for a short period of time to earn compensation through recruitment has become an important source of income for local farmers.
Construction materials shipped from various factories are piled up in the stockyard: bundles of steel bars and bamboo bars used for casting concrete; steel and wrought iron profiles; various specifications of construction lumber and bamboo; stacks of red Bricks and tiles; countless bags of cement stacked under the awning; rows of double-wheel tipping trolleys; refractory bricks from the bitter brine factory of Manao Saltworks...
Workers are building transportation access roads and laying temporary freight tracks to transport tons of goods to each construction site. Five or six mobile pot machines spray black smoke and white gas to provide power for Lingao local construction machinery such as cranes, pile drivers, and mixers. The whirring of pile drivers, the creaking of cranes, and the roar of mixers The sounds are mixed together.
