The night was low with a bright moon in the sky, and the bright moon in the corner of the palace gradually disappeared into the clouds, leaving only a faint bright halo.

Abbot Hongbian was slowly going up the mountain with His Holiness Miaobao and his entourage. Looking from the cliff, the scenery on both sides of the ridge was completely different. The jungle side of the Zen Temple was brightly lit, while the other side was extremely dark and empty. Silent empty valley.

"Master, where is that place?"

On a mid-spring night in Jizu Mountain, the mountain scenery was exceptionally clear, and the breath seemed to be transparent. A Zanshan Lama asked in a low voice. His Holiness Miaobao laughed but did not answer. Instead, Abbot Hongbian spoke.

"Amitabha. There is Jizu Sanin. For hundreds of years, monks and Taoists have lived in the mountains and suns. Later, it was suddenly deserted and abandoned, and no one cared about it. If you want to go to the mountain to visit, it is natural, but this Jizu Sanin is strange and strange. Weird, it’s better not to set foot on it easily.”

Abbot Hongbian's words reached his ears, and the steps of several people were as drowsy as falling into the clouds. Suddenly, they saw strands of starlight scattered not far away, and even lingering clouds intertwined on the treetops, like a sea of clouds and a galaxy within reach. and!

Several Tibetan monks looked surprised and kept admiring. It wasn't until they got closer that they discovered that the twinkling stars in the trees along the road were actually small tangerine peel lamps hanging between the trees or floating in the meadow - in order to prevent them from letting go. The cold wind in the mountains blows out, and it is surrounded by Minzhong gauze. From a distance, it looks like colorful clouds, and from a close look, it looks like shining stars.

"Sittan Temple reopens a pavilion today to welcome the Dharma King Miaobao. I also ask the Dharma King to move over and sit down for a moment."

Abbot Hongbian turned around and pointed, and saw that the Jiuzhong cliff was decorated with lights and colorful decorations tonight, and the paths that had not been taken care of for a long time were also cleaned spotlessly. There were wonderful trees dancing along the way, and the tiles of the jingshe at the end were neat and tidy. It was the chieftain of the Mu family. Yiganxuan, Jizushan's premier hospitality venue that has taken a lot of effort to build, has been revitalized tonight.

Several Tibetan monks looked at the decorations in the Yitan Pavilion and felt that although the appearance of this place was not amazing, the inside was full of elegance and solemnity. There were obviously no statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, but they still seemed to be in a solemn hall. The green smoke of birds is lingering like wisps. In addition to the familiar smell of sandalwood and butter, there seems to be a fresh and pleasant smell of the forest in the air. It reminds people of the vast forest mountains after the snow melts in the Kangzang Mountains, and the floating clouds. Mingjie lake.

The four Praisers and Dharma Protectors had just entered the Yixuan Pavilion. When they were about to sit cross-legged on the paved straw mat, they suddenly felt that the seat was soft and light, not at all like the roughness of the straw mat. They secretly opened it and took a look. I found that the straw mat was just a thin layer of decoration, and underneath was a soft mat made of green pine leaves collected from the mountains.

"Dear guests, please take your seats first and wait patiently for several Tan Yue from the temple to arrive together. Tonight's tea party has been planned for a long time, so it will definitely not be missed."

Abbot Hongbian ushered several people into the seats. He did not show any disdain for the strange behavior of the Tibetan monks. He was all paying attention to every move of the Dharma King Miaobao.

At this time, there were many guests gathered in the Yijin Pavilion. In front of them were some candied mandarin oranges, preserved fruits, and candied citrons. There were at least forty or fifty people present inside and outside the seats. There were boxes of fruit-infused tea in front of them for fun, and monks from the temple were passing between them. First clear tea, medium salt tea, and second honey tea were served. The whole room was filled with celebrities and elegant scholars from Lijiang City and Daluowei Guards. Only the four main seats in the center of the pavilion were left empty.

After Abbot Hongbian saw His Holiness Miaobao sitting down calmly, he easily chatted with others without any unfamiliarity. He secretly admired his meditation skills and did not show any signs of acclimatization. He also paid more attention to what His Holiness Miaobao said before. Approved.

Chinese people have always known sense of proportion.

After all, as early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period when the princes were in turmoil, people understood that even if they faced the same foreign enemies, they could still prioritize them.

The most common first class is to come with chariots in a fierce manner, making it clear that the chariots and horses are only fighting for three to five cities and thousands of miles of land. Encountering such reckless and unreasonable foreign enemies is nothing more than a fight, and then the winner takes all. Surrender and lose half, things can be easily solved.

The one who went up was accompanied by the diplomatic envoys. They usually stood by them in a discreet manner, but as soon as they spoke, they insisted on asking about the importance of He's bijin and nine tripods. The words "ulterior motives" were almost written on his face. At this time, all we can do is think of ways to wait and see, until the winner is determined overtly and covertly.

The highest and worst class is the one who spends his days harmoniously singing and dancing with you. It wasn’t until one day that the army secretly crossed Chencang and gathered outside the capital. Then he asked you why you went to war without declaring and annihilated Da Huaianguo at the east end of the city. Then he said: There are repeated words such as "defeat the people and punish crimes", "restore and destroy the country, and continue the unparalleled world" - then even if you want to surrender at this time, it is probably a bit late.

Now that Abbot Hongbian heard the request made by His Holiness Miaobao clearly stating the place of carriage and horse, even the monks in Jizu Mountain couldn't help but feel overjoyed, sensing that the matter had turned around and there was more hope for a solution.

Jizu Mountain Monk and Miaobao Dharma King sat facing each other from east to west, and continued to observe each other. Not long after, footsteps were heard outside Yi Nexuan, and only a few soldiers with knives and guns were seen standing guard outside the door. The fragrance of orchid has arrived quietly first.

After the ambush stopped, a woman in plain clothes and her maid walked through the crowd and walked into Yiyinxuan, and then sat down safely. Even though she was wearing a gauze hat and did not reveal a trace of appearance, her figure could be imagined, and she was sure that she must be a person. A peerless beauty who is as beautiful as a flower and as beautiful as a cloud emerging from her head.

"Respectfully greet Princess Pingxi, Jin An."

"Respectfully greet Princess Pingxi, Jin An."

The greetings of the old monk and the Tibetan monks were exactly the same. Mu Yong said that the person in front of him was Princess Chen of Pingxi - tonight's Yiyinxuan tea party can not invite monks from all over the world and foreign guests, but she is the only one who is indispensable. .

Princess Pingxi bowed slightly and returned the gift. Although the response was not loud, no one in the room felt contemptuous and indifferent. They were just wondering why the other party remained silent, as if she did not intend to steal the limelight.

Seeing this situation, Abbot Hongbian acted as a knowledgeable guest without hesitation, and introduced the background of several old monks around him to the two outsiders, Princess Pingxi and King Miaobao.

"Princess, Dharma King, the old monk dared to overstep his bounds today and tell me the origins and titles of several eminent monks."

At this time, the seats were divided into southeast, northwest, and west directions. Hongbian and the four old monks sat in the west seat, where they could just see the stars on the cold mountains.

"The four people around the old monk are Abbot Jieming of Jingguang Temple, Abbot Zuyi of Shizhong Temple, Abbot Enlightenment of Chuanyi Temple, and Abbot Guiheng of Biyun Temple. These four great masters of tranquility are people with profound Buddhist teachings in Jizu Mountain. , Hongbian, as a junior student, is actually far inferior to the four of them."

The people were carried in sedan chairs, and Abbot Hongbian praised the several old monks. Naturally, the four of them were very helpful. They stood up to greet the guests one after another, and then sat down and clasped their hands in the same way, which not only showed their recognition of Abbot Hongbian's presiding over the matter, but also implicitly Revealing the non-committal about the grievances of Sidtan Temple.

Abbot Hongbian knew clearly and had already understood the intentions of several people, but he could not find fault with each other.

Although Jizu Mountain was famous as early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was only in the Ming Dynasty that it became known as a "Buddha Kingdom of Heaven and a City of Emergence on Earth".

After Fu Youde, Mu Ying, and Lan Yu led the Ming army to conquer Dali and wiped out "all the official records and the official compendiums," the book "Baigu Tongji" came out, which had a great impact. It has obtained most of the local historical records about Yunnan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, thus exerting an unprecedented influence on the history of Yunnan.

It was also as the name of Jizu Mountain appeared repeatedly in the book "Baigu Tongji" that this place quickly became a holy place for Buddhists to worship.

During these hundreds of years of prosperity and development, the monasteries and jungles on Jizu Mountain continued to have abbots, with varying degrees of succession. During this period, there were countless people who were not reorganized and were destroyed. It is difficult to estimate the rise and fall of the monastery. Even a lucky monastery will decline for a while. , you can also wait until the eminent monks live in Xi, and it will be renovated and renovated to restore the glory of the past dynasties. Some Zen temples that were unlucky, such as the ruins of Jizushanyin, collapsed forever and disappeared behind the deep forests and steep canyons of Jizushan. Even the traces of the temples were gone.

Nowadays, the four Jingzhu on Jizu Mountain actually represent the four most prosperous Zen temples today. There should be five including Sidan Temple, and each represents a lineage of dharma that has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to this day.

Among them, the most ancient and deeply rooted should be the Jingguang Temple system passed down by Zen Master Hontie. Zen Master Bentie was only twenty years old when he heard someone singing the Snow Mountain Gauge. He realized that Fusheng was married to his wife and became a monk. He became a monk from Baizhai, Yaoling Mountain. Over time, he developed his own faith and founded this Zen temple.

Immediately behind and on a par with each other is the Sidan monastery lineage passed down by Zen Master Benwu. There is no single Zen master who can master all the mysteries of the five schools of Southern Zen, practice both concentration and wisdom, and be prepared for both practice and understanding. He was a rare eminent monk who was able to talk about sects and master the mysteries of the five schools; he was able to understand the origins of the three religions with a grain of truth. He was a rare eminent monk. After being highly praised by the Mu family, he developed rapidly.

Jizushan Shizhong Temple belongs to the foreign Xueting Fuyu family. Although Shizhong Temple claims to have been built in the Tang Dynasty, its testable Zen system did not appear until after the Yuan Dynasty. The earliest clear transmission was between Yongle and Zhengtong in the Ming Dynasty. Now it is showing signs of decline. Therefore, he ranked second.

As for the genealogy of Chuanyi Temple, it is more complicated. In the early years of Jiajing, it was originally founded by the famous monk Xingxuan with the help of Li Yuanyang. This temple was built at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain, backed by Wansong Mountain, with Sheng Pagoda on the left and Baishi Temple on the right, so it has the landscape Assembly, sitting for a long time at the peak of the chicken's feet. Later, because many eminent monks lived in this jungle, the descendant factions became more complicated, but ultimately they all belonged to the Linji lineage.

The last Biyun Temple was the Luohan wall system passed down by monk Huan Kong during the Tianqi period. The founder of the mountain, Huan Kong, came from the capital. He had long received the precepts and had long understood the essentials. He traveled to famous places and sought seals in various places. Because Zhuo Xi had been in Jizu Mountain for more than 40 years, he made a great vow to drill rock at the side pass of Jizu Mountain. The suspended structure finally became a majestic palace, which allows you to come from afar and come from behind.

Today's glory will fade away tomorrow, and all fate is like a dream and nowhere to be found. These people who can achieve the position of abbot will naturally not be blinded easily, and they will be more cautious and far-sighted in doing things.

Opposite to these four great masters of tranquility and five Zen forests, there used to be another extremely prosperous Dharma lineage on Jizu Mountain called Jinding Temple. In the early years, it also ranked first in Jizu Mountain. It has declined over time and has been in ruins for many years.

Everything is for existence, and existence is everything. In the Jizushan Temple that has endured hardships and survived to this day, is it possible that only Abbot Hongbian can understand this truth?

Abbot Hongbian has been on thin ice for many years, and he always remembers that Master called him to go before his death. He was dying and unable to speak, so he opened the Sutra of the King of Great Good Views alone, which is included in the fourteenth volume of the "Zhong Agama Sutra".

And that page is unbiased. It tells about the Buddha who chose to enter nirvana between the two sala trees in Kushi City when he was about to enter nirvana. Venerable Ananda asked the Buddha that there are so many big cities in the world, why did he choose this small earth city, which is the lowest among all cities?

The Buddha then told Venerable Ananda about the past majesty of this royal city of Kushi and the deeds of the king, Mahasattva, to benefit sentient beings. This King of Great Good Views is the Buddha's previous life. He was also called the Holy Wheel-turning King in the past. His benefits to all sentient beings back then were still incomplete. Only by becoming a Buddha today can he save all sentient beings and finally escape from the boundless sea of suffering.

The world is impermanent and the country is in danger. Hongbian knew the master's intention in his heart. Because the city of Kushi was so majestic and prosperous in the past, and the wheel-turning king lived here, by the time of the Buddha's nirvana, it had become an ordinary small town. Tucheng, how can the rest of the world be exempt from vulgarity? How can it be worse than repeated thin ice?

"Amitabha, the black-hatted Dharma King has come all the way just to get the scriptures and scriptures from this temple. The old monk is also filled with admiration. I have already asked my junior brother Anren to go get the catalog of scriptures given by Emperor Tianqi. As long as I can get it today, Turning the war into jade and silk, the scriptures given by the emperor in the temple are all at your discretion, whether the Dharma King copies them separately or takes them away."

Abbot Hongbian waved his sleeves and said generously, opening the door of Fayun Pavilion, apparently treating these precious treasures lightly. As soon as he finished speaking, an old monk came to the door holding sutras in both hands.

Master Anren was short, dark, and unattractive in appearance, and he had a melancholy look between his eyebrows. At first glance, people thought he was a strange shadow on a cold night. When a Yaksha from somewhere suddenly broke in, he was startled.

This Tibetan scripture was given by Emperor Tianqi at the request of Tusi Muzeng Shangshu in the fourth year of Tomorrow. It contains 678 volumes in total and is enshrined in the Fayun Pavilion in the temple all year round. In the past, it was Sidtan Temple regards it as precious as life, and it will never be revealed to others easily.

But now times have changed. The Tripitaka given by Tianqi could not suppress King Pingxi, who was granted the title of King Shunzhi. The aggressive attitude of the other party was forcing Sidan Temple to make a choice between the Mu family and King Pingxi. So ever The meaning represented by the scriptures has long exceeded its own value.

Just as His Holiness Miaobao came by chance at this time, Abbot Hongbian did not bother to guess whether there was any collusion between the two. Anyway, the imperial gift of the Tibetan Sutra was given to His Holiness Miaobao, and the Mu family acted as a guide to the Tibetan Karma Kagyu. The main force sent into Yunnan certainly had no reason to cause trouble for themselves, and they could even quietly divert the trouble eastward to see if there was really any problem between the two sides.

"Your Majesty, please excuse me."

At this time, Master Anren stepped back and Abbot Hongbian stepped forward. Sure enough, just when Dharma King Miaobao was about to readily agree, someone suddenly spoke in the north banquet where Princess Pingxi was sitting.

"Wait a minute! I, Prince Pingxi, have been in Yunnan and Guizhou for some time. The imperial collection of scriptures is a rare treasure. How can it be taken away due to coercion and inducement? How can I, Prince Pingxi, sit idly by and do nothing?"

Prince Pingxi's palace occupies a seat on the north side, giving the impression of a bird's eye view of the world. At this time, even if only a woman shouted to stop it, it would make people feel stern and uneasy.

But the person speaking was not Princess Pingxi, who was wearing a silk gauze, nor was she the powerful swordsman beside her. Instead, she was a maid whose appearance was covered. At this moment, the breath of speaking suddenly came out, naturally causing the head curtain to fluctuate, and inadvertently revealed a terrifying appearance with half of the face peeled off, covered with traces of fire and knife cuts. Only the outline of a woman was left in the hideous and monstrous shape, but the entire face was revealed. It was the appearance of a Rakshasa, and it frightened everyone.

The atmosphere was frozen until Princess Pingxi glanced sideways at the maid, who quietly retreated to her original position, and the location of Prince Pingxi's palace returned to calm again.

In an environment where ordinary people have long been in embarrassment, the Dharma King Miaobao smiled as usual, revealing a set of even, full teeth that were as white as snow, and then he spoke with a loud sound like a heavenly drum.

"How could the great monk be so rebellious and courteous as the great monk who spoke highly of the debate? I had known that the eminent monks of Han Dynasty were often involved in offering sacrifices to the Buddha and pricking blood to write sutras. The light of their merits can shine through the eight billion Ganges sand world, so I traveled thousands of miles. I came here to borrow a sutra. Now that I want to ask for the supreme Buddha treasure, how can I use coercion and inducement?"

The majestic and majestic Karmapa Miaobao spoke with a certain amount of majesty. At this time, he stood up and spoke with majesty like a lion. For a moment, no one could pick his edge, let alone how to refute and debate his key points. Everyone's attention was focused on Regarding what he said - he actually wanted to exchange the Buddha treasure?

The so-called Buddha treasures refer to treasures such as Buddha statues, Bodhisattva statues, Buddha relics, etc. Monks who pay homage to Buddha treasures can always receive the protection of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and dragons and gods. But as long as they are treasures, they are of great value, but this It is difficult to measure the value of such treasures. What if one person treasures "the pearl of Sui Marquis and the jade of Jingshan Mountain" and another treasures "kindness, frugality, and dare not be the first in the world"? What will these two people do? exchange?

If this matter is not grasped well, the nature of this matter will immediately change from coercion and inducement to plundering. In the end, there will be no change but a worse reputation. Obviously, the gain outweighs the loss. Everyone in the Yi Nexuan is talking about it, and they can't guess who this wonderful treasure Dharma King is. What kind of treasure is there that I can be so confident that I can grasp it properly?

"Khenpo Lama, please present the treasure!"

Dharma King Miaobao clapped his hands, and another person approached outside Yi Nexuan. He was holding a huge wooden box in his arms, but he was walking forward slowly and clumsily, and his movements were very uncoordinated.

It wasn't until the light shone all over that everyone discovered that his head, which was wearing a bright yellow monk's hat, was covered with lumps and odd-colored spots, his lips were turned outwards, and his neck was almost invisible because of the huge tumor. His head could only tilt to one side abnormally. Although his feet were sound when he stepped out, the knuckles of his hands were twisted like chicken claws, making him look so ugly that it was almost disgusting.

Being frightened by the ugly man continuously, everyone was almost numb, and they all made way for such a disabled and deformed weirdo.

At this time, they looked back at Master Anren and the ferocious maid in front of them, and they felt a touch of kindness and beauty. At least in these two people, there was only the contrast between beauty and beauty, which would not make people feel hatred for the inhumane from the bottom of their hearts. of fear.

But Dharma King Miaobao came to the extremely ugly Khenpo Lama without changing his expression, bowed slightly and took the wooden box, without any resistance or disgust in his eyes.

"The treasure is here, monks, please take a look."

Karmapa Miaobao bent down with his bare shoulders and stretched out his arms. He took out a rusty and incomplete iron box and placed it on the short eucalyptus. The rusty corners even shook out a piece of sand and dust, and even the dirt was not scrubbed away. go.

Everyone on the scene looked sideways, wondering why His Holiness Miaobao regarded the broken iron box in front of him as a treasure that could be compared with the Royal Collection of Sutras. Could it be that when he first arrived in Tibet, he accidentally felt the cold and had a brain disorder?

But the five old monks on the west side were confused at first, but soon their eyes widened one after another. They stood up abruptly and nodded repeatedly at the iron box in front of them. Then they crossed over and trembled with their hands, wanting to touch some of the iron boxes left on it. Circles and notches are all caught in a mixture of surprises.

"Elders, what is so strange about this iron box?"

Among the pilgrims from all directions, someone finally asked this question, but the one who answered them was the Dharma King Miaobao who put his palms together and smiled - he was slowly flipping through the outline of the Royal Collection of Sutras in front of him, aloof and like a god.

"The treasure of the imperial collection of scriptures lies in the compatibility of the source of the law and the mind. Although the text is sparse and elegant, the text contained in the scriptures has long been popular in the world, and many Dharma methods have never been secrets."

"This iron box is exactly the opposite. Patriarch Bodhidharma left this box. Although it was empty, what was locked was the Dharma Eye Store, Nirvana, which the World-Honored One gave Maha Kassapa by picking flowers at the Lingshan Dharma Assembly. Wonderful heart."

Speaking of this, the Dharma King Miaobao could not help but raise his palms and exclaimed, "Today I have seen unimaginable merits! The Venerable Mahakasyapa held the cassock of Sangkari at Jizu Mountain and entered samadhi. The subtle Dharma is breathed in the Central Plains. The two are out of two minds and are consistent with the same principle. The reality is formless, so it is not only the treasure of Sidtan Temple? Together, it should be the treasure of Jizu Mountain!"

Only then did everyone suddenly realize that the broken iron box in front of them was actually a treasure left by Patriarch Bodhidharma? !

Patriarch Bodhidharma is the founder of Zen Buddhism in China. It is said that he crossed the Wei River on a five-leaf mango reed boat and came to Songshan to found Zen Buddhism. The Zen he taught did not emphasize mystical principles, but directly pointed to the original mind through "wall viewing" of sitting meditation.

After Bodhidharma's death, his disciples formed the Southern Sect headed by the Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng and the Northern Sect headed by Shenxiu. In terms of spiritual practice, the Northern Sect advocates "gradual enlightenment", while the Southern Sect advocates "sudden enlightenment". After years of disputes, the Southern Sect finally replaced the Northern Sect. Later, the Southern Sect was divided into five sects: Caodong, Linji, Yunmen, Fayan and Weiyang. At this time, the basis for the harmonious coexistence of the four Jingzhu and the five jungles in Jizu Mountain was that they were originally Southern Zen sects. The dharma lineage of Pai!

At this moment, no one thinks that Dharma King Miaobao is an ignorant person who comes fearlessly with things and wishful thinking. Judging from his accurate and excellent prediction, it is clear that he has reached the level of knowing yourself and the enemy and being able to fight without danger!

Such a treasure is so precious that no one dares to despise it even if it looks extremely damaged. Pilgrims from all over the world were whispering to each other, talking about how the Bodhidharma iron box was right in front of them. At this time, not only a few old monks were beaming with joy, but even the swordsmen of Prince Pingxi's Palace were shining brightly.

There are rumors in the world that after Bodhidharma attained enlightenment in a cave, he taught the Taoist teachings to Hui Ke. Later, Hui Ke dug out this iron box under the stone wall seat where Bodhidharma had meditated for many years. It is said that there are two sutras in the iron box, called "Yi Jin Jing" and "Marrow Cleansing Sutra" respectively. Both sutras are classic works teaching supreme martial arts. Hui Ke taught these two books to the monks, and thus became the The beginning of Shaolin martial arts.

"May I ask Dharmaraja, where did you get such a treasure?"

The words awakened the dreamer, and a voice suddenly came from outside the venue. Even the drunken old monks gradually frowned and woke up from the previous huge shock.

I saw a couple of men and women coming from outside. The man was wearing a sword but his appearance was not outstanding, while the woman was graceful and wearing a gauze hat. She was dressed the same as Princess Pingxi.

The two of them sat down in the south side seats that had been vacant without any hesitation, and did not give in when faced with His Holiness Miaobao, who had always held the initiative. Abbot Hongbian, on the other hand, looked overjoyed.

"This is the young monk who personally went to the Kingdom of Magadha three years ago. Under the ruins of Tianzhu Jingshe, he found the stone traces of the Great Sun Tathagata. After many surveys and excavations, he found this iron box..."

Before King Miaobao finished speaking, he was suddenly interrupted.

"Amitabha must be left by Master Xuanzang!"

Abbot Hongbian, who was studying the pictures and shapes on the iron box, suddenly raised his head and sighed.

"Before Master Xuanzang went west, he discovered that the teachers had different views and there were many unresolved doubts about the scriptures. Although he read all the Buddhist classics in China, he could not find the true meaning of Buddhism, so he decided to go to Tianzhu to seek scriptures. The original road to Tianzhu had been deserted for many years and was difficult to find, so Master Xuanzang went to seek the relics left by Patriarch Bodhidharma in order to find the correct way to Tianzhu westward."

Facing many pilgrims, Abbot Hongbian slowly explained, "When Master Xuanzang was visiting Buddhist relics in Tianzhu, he made a special trip to pay homage to the Buddha's footprint stone, and then brought the image back to China and presented it to Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. , so he was ordered to carve stones according to the pictures and enshrine them."

"In his later years, Master Xuanzang specially carved stone statues in Yuhua Palace and made Buddha's footprint stones, which he worshiped devoutly. The shape left behind is very similar to the traces on this iron box. It is a pity that the Buddha's footprint stones left in China are not the same. It has a long history, but now it is incomplete and unclear. The old monk regrets that it is difficult to see the true face of Mount Lu, but he did not expect to see it again here!"

Jiang Wen was so angry that he bit his teeth into pieces and swallowed it. He thought to himself, who are you, an old monk? I tried my best to bargain for an advantage. Why did you stand up and say "Thank you! Shocked! Years ago." The uncut version has been released again!" remarks?

"If the young monk's prediction is correct, this should be the case. Master Xuanzang took the iron box back to Tianzhu and buried it in the ground. He did not want the young monk to lose it and return it to the Central Plains. It was a thousand-year fate."

Dharma King Miaobao smiled and did not take Jiang Wen's doubts seriously at all. Not arguing at this time was the best explanation.

"I don't know if you are..."

Since ancient times, too much talk has led to mistakes. He has long been accustomed to being questioned in his position. At this time, the best answer before the Miaobao Dharma King is "instead of proving yourself, it is better to humiliate others." Jiang Wen, who wanted to continue speaking, was choked first. Stop and interrogate the other person about his background and whether he is qualified to sit here and talk.

"Amitabha, I haven't introduced you to the nobles yet. This Jiang Tanyue is a distinguished guest from the Jingnan Palace."

With Abbot Hongbian's appropriate explanation, Jiang Wen also introduced to everyone in a logical manner: "That's it. I'm Jiang Liu'er, a guest of Prince Jingnan's Mansion. This is my roommate Fang Baihua. Is there any problem?"

The faces of the pilgrims from all directions showed surprise, and the four quiet masters also nodded slightly. Indeed, only those who are the same three vassal kings are qualified to sit across from the north and south of Pingxi Palace. With the endorsement of Abbot Hongbian, naturally no one can To doubt.

Jiang Wen and his entourage arrived just as an interlude, but Dharma King Miaobao once again stood in the center of the field and said loudly: "In addition to the imperial collection of scriptures today, the young monk also wants to boldly borrow another treasure scroll from Sidtan Temple, which also contains Buddhist scriptures. The treasure matches."

"All sinful karma committed by all sentient beings from immeasurable kalpas must be repented of and purified before they can achieve righteous results. It is said that the Sidan Temple contains the "Huayan Great Repentance Sutra" written by the great master Yixing of the Tang Dynasty. The young monk wishes to pray for this sutra for universal salvation. Living beings, please enable me and all living beings to turn the three karma and sins into liberation, and enable the six sins to achieve supernatural powers and perform the glorious splendor of perfection!"

Pilgrims talked a lot about it, and they also heard a little bit about the "Huayan Great Repentance Sutra" in Jizu Mountain. "The Avatamsaka Sutra of the Great Buddha" is the first sutra performed by the Buddha after his enlightenment. It is known as the "King of Sutras" and covers all the Tathagata's teachings in the twelve parts of the Tripitaka.

The previous chieftain Mu Zeng took out this ancient sutra. He first gathered countless eminent monks in Dali to study it in detail, and then handed the manuscript over to Suzhou Zhongfeng Zen Temple for proofreading and revision. It was also reviewed and revised by the Tiantai Temple's Buddhist monk Guan Shamenzheng. After the treatment was settled, the scholar Qian Qianyi and the master of Jigu Pavilion Mao Jin were asked to compare together. Finally, in the 13th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1640), they donated money and asked the good workers of Jigu Pavilion to build it. After the completion, the edition was hidden in Lengyan Temple, Jiaxing Prefecture, Zhejiang Province. The original version of the Sutra Pavilion has already been published and circulated.

Everyone saw that the Dharma King Miaobao had gathered his troops and came here for a copy of the Buddhist scriptures and rituals that had been circulated. There must be something unknown hidden in the "Huayan Great Repentance Sutra" that was originally written by Master Tang Yixing. Mysteries.

Everyone was looking forward to it, hoping that Abbot Hongbian would take out the scripture and read it, but when they saw that the old abbot looked troubled and took no action, they couldn't help but feel doubtful and became more curious about the content inside.

"Abbot Hongbian, is there anything in this scripture that you can't reveal to others? Why are you so hesitant?"

someone among the pilgrims asked.

After Abbot Hongbian thought for a long time, he said to the Dharma King Miaobao: "That's not true. The ancient scrolls are actually things that my master brought back from Tiantai Mountain. At the beginning, my master made it clear that he would keep them properly, so they were sealed with the Three Holy Temples of Huayan. He has not been allowed to show himself to others for many years, and the old monk really does not want to go against his master's orders."

But Dharma King Miaobao seemed to understand the meaning of the words, and suddenly clasped his palms together and said to the old monk: "Master monk, the Master has left the Huayan Great Repentance ritual. I think it is because the Huayan Sutra says, 'All living beings originally became Buddhas. 'One said, even if someone has great wrong views and cuts off all the roots of good deeds, there will still be room for nirvana when his mind turns against the Dharma, and he will eventually become a Buddha after an eternity."

"However, in my Karma Kagyu sect, there was a master who sympathized with and explained the root nature. He knew very well that sentient beings would lose the Dharma even if they strayed in their thoughts, and it would be difficult for Buddhas to save them. Therefore, he taught the Dharma of universal salvation and liberation, which can free people from slandering the Dharma. Heart. The young monk is willing to use the Dharma to exchange for seeing the true face of the treasure scroll today!"

When Jiang Wen heard these words, he instantly understood the reason why the other party was so confident. Chanti originally refers to a person who has cut off the roots of good deeds and has no hope of becoming a Buddha. The things he said about Chanti are obviously pointing to Master Anren who has great wrong views and cut off all the roots of good deeds.

You must know that Abbot Hongbian was entrusted by Master. The two most important things in his life were to guard Sidtan Temple and to cure his junior brother Anren. Now that the Dharma King Miaobao offered to help cure the disease by looking at the scriptures, it was tantamount to pulling out the medicine. He could benefit the world with just a dime, and if he were Master Hongbian, he really couldn't think of any reason to refuse.

As expected, Abbot Hongbian was silent for a long time, and finally took out an extremely ancient scroll from his arms.

Everyone looked at the damage and destruction until only half of it was left, and finally understood why Abbot Hongbian was so cautious. The text lines on the scroll are blurred, faded and dim, and the silk branches of the paper are brittle and hard, as if they will fall apart if the wind blows.

"Amitabha, this matter is not due to the old monk's foolishness and ill-intention. It is because this "Huayan Great Repentance Sutra" is not an isolated volume, but is integrated with another "Mountains and Rivers Two Precepts", with the front and back transcribed. It is extremely fragile, so you need to be careful when opening it to avoid losing the treasure."

Abbot Hongbian first explained in a low voice the reason for his previous caution, and said to the Dharma King Miaobao again, "Today the old monk will boldly show the ancient scroll. If the Dharma King verifies that it is correct, he can copy the pictures and text on his own, and he must return the ancient scroll as it is... "

Dharma King Miaobao nodded slightly, stood up and came to the side of Abbot Hongbian. The two stood side by side with their backs facing north. The pilgrims also clasped their hands and praised, stood up and came to both sides to watch from a distance, but they did not dare to block the seat of King Pingxi. Sight.

At the moment of opportunity, the "Huayan Great Repentance Sutra", which even the Dharma King regarded as a treasure, was right in front of them. Everyone held their breath and stared at it, for fear that the breath in their mouths and noses would be too strong and damage the treasure. Only the people in the north and south sat still. Watching everyone act coldly.

As the broken and decayed ancient scroll slowly unfolded, Jiang Wen looked from behind and saw a scrawled and ragged geographical map. Only by ignoring the large damaged blanks could he barely guess the shape of the map, which was enough to see the sutras on the front. How incomplete it must be - no wonder Mu Zeng spent so many eminent monks' efforts to restore and print the contents.

The ancient seal script at the beginning of the volume is inscribed with six characters: "The sky hangs down like an image, and the earth takes shape." Then several official characters of "Mountains and Rivers Two Rings Picture" are also presented. The picture is crossed with a giant pen, dividing the mountains and water systems of the four fields of the Central Plains into north and south. The two major areas are like a giant river rolling through them. They are obviously imitating the ancient star map that divided the stars into Yunhan and Han Dynasties, in which Kyushu, Wufu, Wuyue, Sidu, etc. are clearly marked, until the end of the northern and southern boundaries. Stopped abruptly.

Jiang Wen didn't pay much attention to it at first. Although an ancient map like this was precious, it was just an early map. The traces of forced attachment to the heaven, earth, stars and fields are too obvious, and there are countless errors in twists and turns. No matter how detailed the painting is, it will never be as accurate as the satellite images I have seen.

But after taking another look, Jiang Wen found that the "Two Commandments of the North and the South" on this picture seemed to fall in a very awkward place, and there were also many redundant lines left over, just like children's graffiti, which was as crude and ridiculous as a child's.

These two lines are also called "Southern Ji"

"Beiji" are two fictitious mountains and rivers by geographers in ancient times. They are also the dividing line between "Rongdi" (Northern Jied) and "Barbarian" (Southern Jied) in the Central Plains. Because the map changes frequently, the printed version remains in the world. There are far fewer classics than those of hundreds of schools of thought, but these two boundaries have actually existed since "New Tang Book Tianwen Zhi", and should not be so hasty and unclear.

For example, in the southern part, the records of later generations only end at "Dongxunlingjiao, reaching Dongou and Minzhong". It has never been said that it can imitate Huhu and plausibly continue to this south - it is so unclear that Huayi The difference is to be punished by a gentleman.

Discovering such an anomaly naturally aroused Jiang Wen's curiosity. He looked at it intently and saw that the scroll was unfolding to a critical point. Jiang Wen caught a glimpse of a circle of crooked lines at Jizu Mountain, which had been painted black again. , looked up, and found that Master Anren was also staring at the back attentively. Their eyes overlapped and they suddenly said the same thing.

"Everyone, give me the Jingnan Prince's Mansion and see this place today."

At this moment, Abbot Hongbian's movements stagnated. It was Jiang Wen who suddenly stretched out his hand to stop Abbot Hongbian from unfolding the scroll. He used his skill and skill to quickly close the scroll and pressed down Hongbian with his other palm. The abbot's arm completely cut off the possibility of anyone peeking.

When everyone saw that their concentration was suddenly interrupted, they couldn't help shouting. However, the Miaobao Dharma King among them did not become angry. Instead, he smiled kindly and kindly at Jiang Wen. He seemed to be holding flowers and smiling silently, asking. Have something to say.

Abbot Hongbian also looked at Jiang Wen with great confusion, and Jiang Wen also looked at the old monk with frowning eyebrows, and shook his head slowly and solemnly, clearly expressing his strong opposition.

At this time, Master Anren also came closer, took a deep look at Miaobao Karmapa, and said sincerely and solemnly: "Thank you for your trouble, the old monk knows things well. Some things cannot be forced. Now I can only thank you for your kindness." ”

Jiang Wen also smiled and said, "I'm sorry to be too troublesome. I heard that the Dharma King came to Jizu Mountain to discuss Buddhism and exchange scriptures. There should be a round of competition tomorrow, why not use this thing as a lottery? Such a return of favor. Favor, it’s all about one’s ability.”

The four masters of Jizu Mountain were stunned. They thought they could turn their hostility into friendship tonight, but they didn't expect that these two people would cause trouble and mess up the matter.

The four old monks quickly tried to persuade Abbot Hongbian to think twice, but Master Anren and Jiang Wen were the two people they trusted the most. Knowing that they had reached an agreement, they stepped aside and watched Miaobao Dharma King remain silent.

"That's fine. The young monk heard that there are scenic spots on Jizu Mountain called Tianzhu Buddha's Light and Huashou Qinglei. I want to go see it early tomorrow morning, but I'm not in a hurry to leave."

Dharma King Miaobao also happily agreed, "I just don't know what we should discuss tomorrow? Sutras or precepts?"

King Miaobao remained calm despite being slapped in the face, with a calm and peaceful smile on his face, which made Jiang Wen wonder if the other party understood what he said, and he also noticed a trace of abstract and yet abstract meaning for the first time in a long time. The beauty of wild innocence.

"It is said that Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can obtain supernatural powers by practicing meditation. As a living Buddha, you might as well test your magical powers tomorrow!"

"Okay, then compare to supernatural powers."

The Lama Zanshan and the Protector stood up to clear the way, and Dharma King Miaobao also saluted in all directions and turned around to leave. Only the confused monks and pilgrims were left, and Jiang Wen, who was holding an ancient scroll in his hand. Jiang Wen's heart was filled with ups and downs, and Master Anren was also thoughtful, watching the backs of King Miaobao and his entourage as they left.

Jiang Wen guessed that there was something wrong with the Dharma King Miaoba in front of him, and the thing he was looking for was even more problematic!

Just now Jiang Wen found some rolling peak lines in central Fujian, and there seems to be a string of strange spikes under the line. It was outlined with a certain kind of tadpole and evil.

At that time, Jiang Wen was shocked, and his thoughts flashed in a hurry, and he looked at the "Two Rivers of the Mountains and Rivers". Soon after the volume was exhibited, the scroll on the back was not far from the Nanjie, and the most damaged Central Plains was still a distance. When Jiang Wen saw the rotten lines under the bottom, I realized that the chaos on the south of the south of Nanjie was not caused by it. It is clear that many shadows of worms and snakes that are strange, scattered, and dived in the land of Lingnan. , Eventually entangled and twisted together!

Relying on the explanation of imagination, Jiang Wen gradually realized that the dark waves of the daisan court of Poyang, Huayue Songshan Monster Mother?

??, these unknown traces are like dirty ink, but they are secretly depicted by people in different places. If it wasn't for Jiang Wen's rhinoceros, it would be difficult to see all the mysteries. In the painting, the entire Central Plains and Five Yuesi and four blames are full of Xi Yi monsters that are unpredictable!

A good picture of "Mountains and Rivers", how can such things be allowed to be passed on!
