The shadows of the trees on Shigu Peak are faint, and you can see the sparkling blue waves of Dalongtan in the distance. In the dusk, there are people walking on the grass path.
The long reed leaves drooped with the howling evening wind, forming a sea of grass that could drown people. However, the sound of footsteps never stopped, and followed the moon's shadow hanging on the height of the canopy tree. The old figure quietly stopped in front of a mountain house made of bluestone.
"Amitabha, Tan Yue, and the old monk came to complain."
Abbot Hongbian lowered his head and walked into the mountain house. He saw that the house had been decorated, and a lit candle was quietly placed at the foot of the house to prevent it from being blown out by the harsh mountain wind. However, the light could not help but sway, so he took the light The lonely figures in front of the bed are shadowy and ever-changing.
"Two masters, you are welcome to come."
Jiang Wen sat expressionless in front of the window. He saw that his right hand was tightly tied again, and Zhan Lujian was once again used as a splint. Coupled with the appearance of being seriously injured and not yet healed, his appearance was really miserable.
Although the previous earth-shattering blow caused cracks in the rocks and the collapse of the cave, it also acted on Jiang Wen's right hand that used the Dark Soul Palm. The broken bones that had been barely healed during the fierce battle with the dragon ghosts were shattered again this time due to the heavy load. , the injury was more serious than before.
"Jiang Tanyue, does this girl still show no signs of waking up?"
When Abbot Hongbian saw Jiang Wen indicating that he was fine, he checked Luo Shuang'er's pulse after asking for permission. He found that Luo Shuang'er's pulse was basically stable, but that Luo Shuang'er was unconscious and unresponsive to external things. This was considered one of many misfortunes. The only good thing.
"Thank you, abbot, for your concern. I have tried to wake her up in many ways. Sister Shuang's injuries to her meridians have obviously improved, but her mind has been hit hard. Now I am helpless."
Jiang Wen took a deep breath, looked solemn and solemn, and signaled the two old monks to sit down. There were many things that needed to be discussed in detail during the long night.
"I just hope you two can tell me everything - I just didn't expect that a Buddhist country like Jizu Mountain would be haunted..."
Jizu Mountain is haunted. This was Jiang Wen's most shocking discovery this time. Before entering the temple, he made repeated inquiries and ruled out suspicions such as the Bodhisattva incarnate and the illegal counterfeit shop. He thought he could rest easy, but in the end he never imagined that he would encounter such a thing. Simple and natural weirdness.
The shame on the faces of the two old monks was even heavier. Master Anren was not good at speaking, so now he could only lower his head and chant sutras. Abbot Hongbian twirled his Buddhist beads and lowered his voice at this time and gently closed the window, as if he was worried that the small sound of a few people talking would be heard by the charming wooden mountain spirit who was rustling outside the cold window.
"Jiang Tanyue, Jizu Mountain is the kingdom of the Buddha and the city of the earth. There is also the Venerable Maha Kassapa here who keeps his robes and enters concentration. How can it be a place of ghost domain and disaster? It is just the head of the disaster. All crimes should be held responsible. Thanks to the old monk, Xitan Temple is now suffering from misfortune. The old monk thought that no matter what, it would not spread to the two Danyue..."
The two old monks looked at each other, knowing that any more explanations now would only make people feel like they were shirking their responsibilities. Fortunately, Jiang Wen was emotionally stable and had mixed emotions in his heart. Many things he said should not have been disclosed to outsiders, but the situation was critical at this time. No matter what, we cannot lose this Austrian aid.
Master Anren was silent for a while, and then he whispered in confusion: "Donor, there are many monks in the temple who have encountered ghosts. Master and senior brothers keep it secret for the sake of the reputation of Sittan Temple, but they have always been entangled by ghosts. All of them are people who have received full ordination and come in and out of the Buddha statue. No pilgrims or believers have ever been affected, let alone anything in the rock chamber medicine pool..."
Two old monks told Jiang Wen that it was not a rare thing for ghosts to haunt Xitan Temple. It had happened as early as the temple was built in the Dingji year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty.
The former abbot was not a knowledgeable Zen master, so he found the basis of this ghost after reading the "Maha Zhi Kuan" written by the former master Zhiyi of Tiantai Mountain in the Sui Dynasty. The fearful ghost is supposed to be that at the time of the end of the Buddha's Dharma, there was a bhikkhu who liked to annoy the monks and was expelled by the monks. Then he swore evil oaths to die and turned into a ghost. He often annoyed people who were sitting in meditation. This ghost pretended to take various forms, or It's like an insect with thorns on its head and face.
Later, traces were found in the "Secret Methods for the Treatment of Zen Diseases" translated by Juqu Jingsheng of Beiliang.
The ghost of fear appeared again during the time of Sakyamuni Buddha. At that time, Mahakasyapa taught thousands of bhikkhus to rest in the lonely garden monastery and practice rigorously.
, unexpectedly a ghost appeared and caused trouble. The monks all saw a ghost with a face like a lute, flying around the monastery, with four eyes and two mouths, and a face shining with light. It was all in various vicious and terrifying shapes, and it struck its armpits and other parts of the body with its hands. .
Mahakasyapa opened his eyes to look, and saw that the monks were horrified and speechless. He also heard the voice of the monks chanting "fear, fear, fear," which suddenly appeared and disappeared like a spinning wheel of fire, like a lightning bolt, and for a while, they were in the void. Either up or down, the monks in the hall immediately ran away in chaos. Fortunately, Maha Kassapa was unmoved by his profound spiritual practice. The Buddha spoke out to expose the true identity of this person who had fallen into evil karma, and also passed down the secret method of impeachment and treatment, and the crisis was finally turned into peace.
Zen Master Benwu explained to many disciples that Mahakassapa is the "first shutu" among the Buddha's disciples and the first person to practice non-attachment. The fear of ghosts is one of the tribulations of the Venerable Mahakassapa. The previous life was eliminated by the Buddha. Only then did he catch up to Jizushan Dojo.
The ghost of Horde appears in the mountain. In fact, it is the old karma between the Venerable Mahakasyapa and the ghost of Horde that has not been eliminated. All the monks need to do is to deal with it through meditation and uphold Bodhi. This ghost will cause no other harm to the monks. Everyone can practice with confidence.
However, this incident is particularly frequent and violent in the first month of each year. When the monks of Sidtan Temple are meditating and chanting sutras in the Buddhist hall, ghosts will always come to entangle them, but they still rely on the monks and only appear in places where there are Buddha statues. He never hurts anyone when he goes out - therefore, the Sidtan Temple has set up a rule to observe fasting and close the temple in the first month. Only those who have just become a monk and have no time to take the photo of observing the precepts are allowed to move freely in and out of the temple.
"So that's the case. No wonder Master Anren can break the root of the root and cast away ghosts by chanting sutras..."
Jiang Wen has always been doubtful about ghosts. Based on the basic skills of a rhinoceros wielder, he is afraid that he may encounter monsters again. Recalling that day, he seemed to have heard the voices the two said. It was faintly coming from the cave, and a stream of poisonous smoke came out and hit his nose and mouth...
Abbot Hongbian told Jiang Wen in a low voice that during the first month before his arrival, the Sidan Temple was almost at the stage of collapse.
The Pingxi Prince's Mansion was aggressive outside, and the Hidei ghost was haunting inside. Abbot Hongbian had no choice but to completely close the temple to calm the situation. Because the Hidei ghost only bothered monks who had received full ordination, and only appeared near the Buddha statues, Hongbian had no choice. Abbot Bian also closed the meditation halls in all the main halls so that the monks could not see the forms of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
I thought that the strange things would subside a little, but what happened next was even more unexpected by everyone in Sidan Temple.
Some monks who chant sutras alone in their Zen rooms often feel that there are shadows between the palaces and houses of Sidan Temple, as if ghosts are constantly moving in and out. When they open the windows and take a closer look, there is no one there. And when the monks walk late at night and pass by the heavily locked and empty Buddhist temple, they will find faint laughter coming from it. Looking through the window, the wooden and clay Buddha statues seem to have numerous whip marks.
Later, there was a pair of moss-mottled stone lions and elephants outside the Three Holy Temples that had been deserted for a long time. They had not been taken care of for many years. There were also lone monks wandering nearby late at night. They heard constant strange noises in the temple garden and opened the door. When I saw the stone statues, they looked extremely strange. The brave stone lion's hair was trembling all over its body, while the Duanyan stone elephant was stumbling and crawling with all four legs on the ground. A strong smell of earth hit my face, almost suffocating.
Therefore, Xitan Temple added an additional rule that no more than five people can go out together after midnight.
"Good guy, what kind of trouble happened to make you create a strange rule in the Sidan Temple..."
Jiang Wen frowned. He didn't expect that he just wanted to find a chance to get back to Guangdong and Guangxi, but he accidentally got into this dangerous place. But if you think about it carefully, these rhetorics still have many loopholes and cannot withstand careful scrutiny.
For example, there is no Buddha statue in the medicine pool in the cave, and Zejiang and Luo have never been ordained as monks. According to what the two old monks have said conclusively, there is no possibility of the fearful ghost haunting them - if this is the case It would make sense for Yan Yongchun and Yuan Ziyi to bump into each other. Could it be that Luo Shuang'er secretly followed Yuan Ziyi to become a monk while no one was paying attention, and ended up accidentally hurting herself?
Jiang Wen looked at the unconscious Luo Shuang'er with suspicion, and felt that this might be the most reliable statement.
If none of the above speculations are true, it is impossible that because the two of them are born with Buddha nature that overcomes human nature, they are the seeded players who are guaranteed to be sent to the Western Paradise, right?
"Amitabha, I'm afraid, as Master said, all this is because the karma between the Venerable Mahakassapa and the ghost of Phati has not been eliminated, and this is why the poison has spread to the chicken's feet.
On the mountain, it was taken over by Sidtan Temple, but
Unintentionally, the two donors were involved, hey..."
"Two masters, I still have a doubt. If it is said that the ghost ghost and the Venerable Kassapa have an unresolved karma, why do they only bother with the Sittan Temple and not torment the many temples on the mountain?"
After hearing this, Jiang Wen's doubts peeled off layer by layer. He was finally approaching the central link where the truth came to light and asked this question. However, as he was thinking about it, Jiang Wen thought of the stone carvings exposed on the top of the cave. More Questions came to mind.
"Two masters, is the strange portrait that collapsed from the top of the stone chamber the true form of a certain Buddha and Bodhisattva?"
As soon as these words came out, Abbot Hongbian and Master Anren looked at each other and suddenly fell into silence, with both faces looking uneasy.
"Tan Yue, do you know who built this cave medicine pond?" Abbot Hongbian suddenly asked.
Jiang Wen shook his head, not understanding the purpose of the old monk's rhetorical question: "I only heard the master say that Xu Xiake came here. Logically speaking, it should have been here decades ago. It couldn't have been dug by this guest from the haze, right?"
Abbot Hongbian put his hands together and said: "Amitabha, this cave and the three holy temples in the temple were originally built by my master, Zen Master Benwu, who asked for Dharma from Tiantai Mountain. The painting on the top of the cave has been dusty for many years, and I am afraid it is also What Master did..."
"Seeking Dharma from Tiantai Mountain? This sounds like another story."
Looking at Luo Shuang'er who was still unconscious, Abbot Hongbian let out a long sigh, closed his monk's robes and lowered his head with his palms, using sadness to resolve all the unwillingness and resentment in his heart.
"Amitabha, how can this old monk have the power of the Buddha? The incident at Sidtan Temple originated from the Three Holy Temples, and the incident from the Three Holy Temples came about because there were no Zen masters. The two old monks just wished they could eliminate the consequences of their sins with their bodies. , various reasons, wait for the two old monks to explain slowly..."
On the top of the solitary peak, Jiang Wen and several old monks were sitting in a mountain house. They planned to use dead leaves as mats and temporarily hung the cold wind as curtains. They let the wind howl outside the window and watched a cold moon hanging high in the distance in Anren. With a guilty look on his face, the Master talked about some past events.
…………
Master Anren, who was originally practicing vigorously and diligently, suddenly encountered a tribulation one day. It seemed that he had been reduced from a seed of Buddhahood to a person who had cut off his good roots. As the master, Zen Master Benmu worried day and night to find a solution, but he still had no clues. In order to maintain the practice of Master Anren without deterioration, Zen Master Benwu finally decided to go to Guoqing Temple in Tiantai Mountain to seek Dharma in person despite his old age.
Needless to say, the journey from Yunnan to Zhejiang was long, and the hardships were indescribable to outsiders. After experiencing many hardships, the old monk finally arrived at the foot of Tiantai Mountain.
Guoqing Temple, an ancient temple in Tiantai Mountain, was built in the 18th year of Emperor Kaihuang's reign in the Sui Dynasty. It was founded by Master Zhizhe, the founder of Tiantai Sect. It was first named Tiantai Temple. Later, it was renamed Guoqing Temple, which means "if the temple is completed, the country will be clear" because of its high status. It is revered as the ancestral court of Tiantai Sect.
This time he went to Tiantai Mountain to ask for Dharma. In addition to asking for the "Huayan Great Repentance" to repent for his disciples' karma and rehabilitate him, he also wanted to ask for a martial arts. Zen Master Benwu knew that it would be difficult for his disciple Anren to learn Buddhism. After that, he planned to find a new path from martial arts to Zen, and it was said that there was a weird and bizarre Buddhist technique hidden in the ancestral court of Tiantai Mountain called "Hanshan Kung Fu".
I just didn’t expect that both of these things would be so poisonous. The Three Holy Temples, which once enshrined the Avatamsaka Repentance, fell into disrepair after a certain incident, and no one dared to approach it. It became a place for snakes and cats to live in the Sidan Temple. The Hanshan Gong was also implicated by many foreign objects. The medicine pond in the stone cave usually does not allow outsiders to enter and exit, and it has been experiencing strange phenomena one after another. Today, it collapsed and its true appearance was revealed. In the end, even the temples in the mountain were at odds with each other because of it...
"Two masters, this "Hanshan Kung Fu" is said to have been created by Master Hanshan, a poet monk in the Tang Dynasty. It is also occasionally taught in the world. From what I can see, it is nothing more than a kung fu for cultivating one's moral character. Why do you think it is getting more and more evil in your mouth?"
Jiang Wen's expression was a little unnatural when he spoke, and his cheeks twitched unconsciously, but he quickly suppressed all signs and completely regained his composure.
Abbot Hongbian said without sadness or joy: "Amitabha, since Tan Yue also knows the story of the two masters found in Hanshan, it is naturally the best. Let the old monk repeat a few sentences and see if it is the same as what he heard..."
When Jiang Wen heard this, he thought the other party was praising him. After all, Han Shan picked up two famous people.
, it is naturally impossible for him not to know: "Oh? Could it be that the painting on the top of the cave was found by Hanshan?"
Hanshan lived in seclusion in Hanshi Mountain on Tiantai for more than seventy years, and named himself Hanshanzi; Shide, whose name is unknown, was named after Fenggan, a senior monk of Guoqing Temple when he was a child, and he took alms from Shide on the side of Chicheng Road.
It is said that Han Shan and Shi De met each other as if they were brothers. They usually climbed mountains to enjoy the water, read Buddhist scriptures, and recited ancient poems. Every time they gained something, they often wrote it among the trees and rocks. Most of their contents were about the joy of being secluded in the mountains and forests or warning the world. Later, they were collected by Taizhou. Lu Qiuyin, the governor of the Han Dynasty, compiled the "Collection of Poems of Han Shanzi", which contains more than 300 poems. His deeds are also widely circulated because of his ridicule of tenses and grotesque behavior.
"...Exactly. It's a pity that there are so many falsehoods circulating in the world, and some of them are ridiculous. But in the face of many particularly bizarre and ridiculous things, this may not be a bad thing."
Abbot Hongbian's words were euphemistic, and seeing that Jiang Wen had not changed his original intention to listen, he stopped pretending to be mysterious and continued.
"My master is not a Zen master. When I first arrived at Tiantai Mountain, I discovered that the people at Guoqing Temple were quite taboo about the story of what was found in Hanshan Mountain. At first, they did not dare to investigate the underlying reasons. Only after repeated requests did the abbot of Guoqing Temple be willing to tell the truth. "
"Master once told the two of us that the monks in the late Tang Dynasty were happy to join the sect, because both Han Shan Shi and Lu Qiu lived on the rooftop, and Lu Qiu was a famous eunuch in this dynasty, so he relied on his name to make up his deeds to confuse future generations. ..."
Fake? A thunderbolt flashed through Jiang Wen's mind, predicting that what happened next would be extraordinary.
Afterwards, Abbot Hongbian said exactly what the Abbot of Guoqing Temple told Zen Master Benwu. It turned out that on that day, the abbot of Guoqing Temple completely denied the legend that had been passed down through the ages in front of Zen Master Benmu. This made Zen Master Benmu extremely surprised, but the surprise at this time was not as much as what he would have heard about the deeds later.
The abbot of Guoqing Temple told Zen Master Benwu that the reason why they were sure that Lu Qiuyin's poem preface and recorded deeds were all fabricated lies was because he had compiled the notes circulated by eminent monks of the Sui and Tang Dynasties in Guoqing Temple and found that those who lived in the same era The eminent monk, no one has ever seen with his own eyes, this strange-looking poet monk "Han Shanzi"...
According to the eminent monk's notes, the incident suddenly spread among the monks in Xiangjichu, where a strange man "with a haggard appearance, a fallen cloth, wearing a birch bark crown, and wearing big wooden clogs, would come and linger outside Guoqing Temple from time to time. "For three or five days, some people claimed to have seen strange things, but no one could explain their faces clearly, which made people panic.
During that time, although the monks were frightened, they could only feel the vague shadow of someone who was nowhere to be found. Only a crazy monk named Shi De, a fatherless and motherless monk in the temple, shouted that he could see "Han Shanzi" coming. He was talking to himself in the corridor, his words were strange and obscure, as if he was speaking a language that did not belong to this world.
Every day, I picked up the leftover food of the monks and stored it in a bamboo tube under the corridor. When the day came, the bamboo tube disappeared, and the monks thought it was supernatural. Occasionally, I told people that "Hanshanzi" came from outside the sky, bearing the signs of the five turbid and evil times. He said that the world is impermanent, the country is fragile, and the Baiyang catastrophe is coming. When the time comes, the mountains will sink and the ocean will rise. All living beings will cease to exist.
As time went by, Shi De became even more crazy. The monks of Guoqing Temple vaguely saw in the dim moonlight that there seemed to be a man with a withered appearance "walking slowly in the corridor, sometimes making noises, looking into the sky and cursing." Shi De also followed suit and looked into the sky and cursed. , clamoring for Dadan.
You must know that Guoqing Temple is located at the foot of Tiantai Mountain, with few villagers nearby, and it is extremely quiet at night. Two unknown voices suddenly shouted, like thunder on the ground, and the whole temple was frightened. The monks couldn't bear it, so they came out to criticize him and drive him away. They didn't reply when they found something, they held their hands in laughter with a mysterious expression, and then walked away.
Later, Shi De's behavior became more and more weird, and he became more and more disrespectful towards many Buddha statues. He always said that "Han Shanzi" was coming to pick him up and leave.
Shi De was originally working as a chaplain in the dining hall, but one day he suddenly sat down in the Mahavira Hall and had food with the Buddha in front of the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. Another day, he pointed at the statues of Arhats and shouted, "Ouch Chenru! You little sravaka!" Then he gestured to the kuaizi as if no one else was around and laughed. Another time, the food in the kitchen was stolen by crows. When they found it, they scolded Dharma protector Jialan for failing to abide by his duties and hit the holy statue with a wooden stick.
Seeing that the situation was getting more and more weird, the eminent monk of Guoqing Temple locked the found items in the woodshed and ordered a thorough investigation of the matter. Soon, it turned out that something was found in the mountain.
According to a piece of news from the people, ten years ago there was a wandering monk from Yanzhao who stayed with his disciples. He was also dressed like this. However, his absurd behavior made the monks impatient, so he chased him away and beat him with sticks. Finally, He died of his injuries on Hanyan. In the end, it was Shi De, the man who collected firewood, who took him and buried him somewhere unknown in Hanyan.
The last time the monks saw Shide was when he suddenly unlocked and cuffed him for some unknown reason, came to the Xiangji Kitchen, took a seat, and fasted as usual. Then he quickly put down the bowl and cursed "Thief! Thief!" Then he walked out of the temple with a haggard appearance and ragged clothes. He recited absurd and terrifying scriptures, his feet gradually flew into the air, and he walked straight to the temple. He walked away from the cold rock in the north, walking faster and faster until the monks couldn't catch up...
When everyone from Guoqing Temple chased Hanyan, they found it and had long since disappeared. And just on the cold rock, the monks discovered that the nearby mountains were facing cliffs, with many vines, short bamboos growing in between, and huge boulders covered with moss and made of ocher black. They stood like a screen in front of people, and a black shadow was pulling the monks in. In the rock, the cliff is slowly breaking away from the rock and closing.
The monks stood there dumbfounded. Countless mountains, rocks, trees, and walls of deserted houses gave people a dizzying feeling of terror. The depths of the entire cold rock were actually filled with all kinds of obscure and difficult ancient seal script fragments. The characters were very ancient. Later generations copied and studied it for a long time, but none of the county sergeants and common people could understand it.
According to the biography of Shide in "The Complete Poems of the Tang Dynasty", "...the monks of the later temple were gathering firewood at the south peak. They saw a monk entering the rock, picking up the collar bone, and collecting the relics. Only then did he know that the rock was destroyed, because it was called Shide Rock. ." At this point, the life and death of the missing person are clear, but no one can know the authenticity of "Han Shanzi".
Jiang Wen suddenly remembered that until later generations, the existence of Han Shan seemed to be a mystery. Many people tried to verify it, but they could not even find out the exact date of his life.
"Abbot Hongbian, as you said, Hanshan is a vague and subtle person, and is the collection of poems true or false? No one has ever seen him, so how did the "Hanshan Kung" come into being in later generations?"
"The "Collection of Poems of Han Shanzi" has many descendants who have attached it, but the traces of "Han Shanzi" have disappeared since then. It is not that no one has seen it, but only a few people have seen it in ancient times, and the words are not clear..."
The old monk recited the Buddha's name in a low voice, as if he was considering whether Jiang Wen was suitable to accept this message. After thinking again and again, he finally replied: "The record of Luqiu is ridiculous and has no evidence, and is close to blind words. If we must examine the facts, it is better to believe in Luqiu's forgery." Preface, Mu Ning Xin Guangting's "Supplementary Materials", based on Guangting's record of Xu Ling's Mansion, the date, month and provenance can all be verified, and it is the same as Hanshan."
Jiang Wen fell into thinking.
According to Abbot Hongbian, Lu Qiuyin's "Preface to the Collection of Poems of Hanshanzi" by Lu Qiuyin has been researched in detail by many good people, and they have discovered some inaccuracies in it, such as the fallacy of the county name in the Tang Dynasty, the inaccuracy of Lu Qiuyin's official accessories, The discrepancy in the dates before and after, the doubts about the collection of Hanshan's poems, the illusion of Hanshan being lost and lost, etc., basically prove that it is a forgery by later generations.
The only convincing record from the same period comes from the writings of Du Guangting, a Taoist leader who has been promoting Taoism in Shu for fifty years during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
His "Supplements to Immortals" records that when Xu Lingfu, a high-minded Taoist priest during the Wuzong period of the Tang Dynasty, came to Tiantai Mountain, he saw "Han Shanzi" in the mountains and said that he was "weird and mysterious, and could not be tolerated in the world", so "Tongbai" "Zheng Jun Xu Lingfu, prefaced and collected it, divided it into three volumes, and traveled in the world." That is to say, he personally went to the Hanyan area to collect Hanshan's poems and deciphered the secrets in the ancient seal script. , with more than 300 poems", became the current "Collection of Poems by Han Shanzi".
In addition to this, the "Hanshan Gong" obtained by Xu Lingfu was also passed on to Du Guangting. Du Zhenzhen was stationed at Qingdu Temple in Qingcheng Mountain. From then on, "Hanshan Neigong" changed its appearance, from being a secret of Buddhism in Tiantai Mountain to flowing into the world. In the rivers and lakes.
"Any talk about gods is too nonsense. Abbot Hongbian, has anyone else seen "Han Shanzi"? "
Jiang Wen suddenly asked, seeming a little impatient when the conversation turned to Suo Yinjigu, and asked for more details.
Master Anren was silent for a while, and finally replied slowly: "From the Tang Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, how could only one person have seen it?"
Master An Ren apparently also visited the traces found by Han Shan, and told that Xu Lingfu was not the only person who had seen "Han Shanzi".
First of all, there is the mid-Tang Dynasty poet Xu Ning, who was the first person to record "Han Shanzi" in poetry, and the only Tang Dynasty poet who is suspected of having seen Han Shanzi during his lifetime.
poet. Xu Ninghuai lived in seclusion in the mountains after not meeting him. He wrote in Wujue's "Send Off the Returned Scholars to Hanyan": "Without hanging silk clothes, I returned to Hanyan to live. On a windy and snowy night in Hanyan, I crossed the Yanqian River again." It seems to be a reward. Han Shanzi's visit.
And until a hundred years later in the Song Dynasty, some people still encountered "Han Shanzi" by chance.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Li Zhuan, also known as Ziyue, once served in Yuyao, Yuezhou. He also claimed to have encountered "Han Shanzi" in the Tiantai Mountains. He refused to answer any detailed questions, and then his temperament changed drastically and he believed in Buddhism. Yang Shi, the great scholar of Chengmen Lixue, also mentioned in the Spring and Autumn style of writing in the "Epitaph of Li Ziyue" written for him: "It was written by Gongba, named Ziyue, surnamed Li, descendants of all the kings and Miaos of the Tang Dynasty...Zeng Dudu Paying a visit to Han Shanzi... He was deeply involved in Buddhism in his late days of public life, and no one dared to ask questions about his family's private secrets. The handwritten poem "Han Shanzi" is intended to show the disciples that they should generally attack others' evil and attack their own good as a warning... …”
For this reason, Zen Master Benwu personally climbed to the Hanyan Rock in the southwest of the temple. He found that the mountainside of Hanyan was like a thunderous knife. The cliffs there were extremely steep, and the thin rocks were jagged straight up and down, making it difficult for ordinary people to walk. , another encounter was discovered.
Yan Hui, a painter during the Song and Yuan Dynasties, worked on ghosts and had strange brushwork. He once hid a strange painting in the mountains. It seems to be a creepy scene of him encountering a cold mountain in the darkness of the mountain forest and finding it with a broken face and a laugh. In the end, this painting Zen Master Benwu copied it and brought it back to Sidan Temple, and quietly hid it in a stone cave...
""Hanshan Gong" is like "Hanshanzi". It is difficult for ordinary people to meet, but if someone is destined to meet it, it will be with him like a shadow. Therefore, the old monk claims to have practiced hard for decades, but in fact he has not achieved it in one day. It is a destined number. "
Master Anren's words were full of ambiguities. He raised his clear and sad face, looked at Jiang Wen alone and said, "The root of "Hanshan Gong" still comes from the world of Huazang in the Avatamsaka Sutra. The infinite pearls reflect each other, and the pearls reflect each other. Pearls are contained, shadows are photographed, they overlap endlessly, and they are confused with cause and effect. Therefore, it is possible to stop the old monk's practice from retreating, but it is of no benefit to ordinary people."
Jiang Wen was horrified. He didn't expect that there were such evil places in the Buddhist Kung Fu in Tiantai Mountain. It seems that being good at going astray is not a patent of Southern Shaolin. The Xitan Temple was also frightened because of the manipulation of no Zen master. Beware of being entangled by ghosts and other foreign things, unable to escape.
In order to stop the fighting of internal energy in the internal organs, I mistakenly absorbed Master Anren's internal energy of Hanshan. As a result, the old monk's internal energy was exhausted and he was fine. However, because my own internal energy was entangled by Hanshan's internal energy, my skills were greatly damaged...
"Two masters, Jiang is completely confused now. Is this Xitan Temple in Jizu Mountain a Buddhist country? What do you think you mean? The desire to avoid fear is greater than the desire to worship the Buddha?"
Jiang Wen was still planning to make a joke, but Abbot Hongbian saluted Jiang Wen solemnly. Master Anren also accompanied him. The waving of the monk's robe caused the candle lamp to shake, and countless phantoms instantly appeared.
"Amitabha, I'm afraid that Tan Yue's encounter with the fearful ghosts now is just the tip of the iceberg. This Jizu Mountain is certainly the kingdom of the Buddha opened by heaven and the city transformed by the earth. But as the "Vimalakīrti Sutra" says, there are many demon kings in the worlds of the ten directions. This is the Bodhisattva who abides in inconceivable liberation. Anyone who can beg for hands, feet, heads, marrow and brain, and speaks like this, is the Bodhisattva who abides in inconceivable liberation."
Abbot Hongbian's eloquence is intact, and his tongue can bloom like a lotus flower, but what he said makes people goosebumps all over their bodies, "Great Bodhisattvas and good teachers often turn into evil things to make people make progress without retreating. Therefore, the devil is in the old monk's hands." Both of them have Bodhisattvas in their eyes..."
The more Jiang Wen listened, the more his scalp became numb. A coldness grew and spread from the bottom of his heart, and the sudden realization in his heart arrived with the coldness - no wonder these two old monks were acting strangely, and they insisted that Jizu Mountain was... "Buddha country" turns out to be this meaning!
"...It turns out that in your eyes, the Buddha's kingdom in the world where the Buddha's light shines is no different than the infinite demon kingdom filled with evil spirits..."
To use an analogy, it is like an obedient and diligent cow, which also needs an occasional push. The person holding the whip is not to torture the cow, but to make it move forward better. But if the cow cannot withstand the torture and dies, is this a good thing or a bad thing? If a person really sacrifices his limbs, head, marrow and brain to die, can the Bodhisattva in front of him be considered good or evil?
He had no intention of going to the Paradise, so what kind of place did he end up in by accident? !
The two old monks put their palms together and chanted sutras. After saying this, they seemed to have lifted a heavy burden from their hearts, and finally said to Jiang Wen.

Jiang Tanyue, the old monk has ordered Pinzhao to wait at the foot of the mountain. The female benefactor's current coma can only be resolved by Pinzhao's fate - it's just that this child hopes for supernatural powers and is ignorant of impermanence, but he doesn't know that all dharmas and empty appearances are all dreams. In the end, magical powers are all illusions, and the benefactors mostly use them as advice. "
Jiang Wen nodded slowly, knowing that the old monk's instructions might have broken some kind of precepts, but he didn't know where Pinzhao would take him, and how he could wake up Luo Shuang'er.
Jiang Wen opened the window and felt that the Buddhist kingdom was filled with demonic energy, and the city was filled with bones. He didn't know what was waiting for him in front of him, but there was no room for retreat behind him. We must also explore the dragon's pond and tiger's den.
"Tan Yue, there is no serious problem in Sittan Temple now. The princess has her own way to deal with it. If the female benefactor wakes up smoothly, you two must not step into Sittan Temple again. From today on, Jizu Mountain will become increasingly dangerous. I hope you can Take good care of it..."
