Where Maitreya could beat Tathagata, he was immediately beaten until his nose was bruised and his face was swollen.
"I told you to beep with me again. The scars are really healed and the pain is forgotten." Tathagata kicked Maitreya again and then stopped.
Maitreya was trembling there, his little eyes full of hatred.
"Why are you still standing there? Bring the burning lamp and let's go to the outer world together." Tathagata turned around and frowned.
Maitreya did not dare to say anything, so he stood up immediately, ran to Moonlight Bodhisattva, grabbed a burning lantern and walked over.
"You guys take a good look at Lingshan. We will come as soon as we go." Tathagata gave another instruction, looking at Samantabhadra, "Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Lingji Bodhisattva will be under your care for the time being."

Of course, no one would dare to make such a loud noise when Tathagata was around.

However, the three Buddhas who went up now came down, Tathagata and Maitreya.
The Buddhas speculated that perhaps the ancient Buddha of Deng Deng was still receiving treatment from the saint.
Tathagata and Maitreya, there were no signs of being beaten on their bodies. Tathagata had a gloomy face all the time, as if someone else had eaten his rice.
Maitreya was smiling with a spring breeze on his face.
After returning, the two people turned to face the Buddhas. Tathagata stood aside and remained calm, while Maitreya turned his hand and a Dharma seal appeared in his hand.
"Saint's Dharma post?" Someone suddenly exclaimed.
With a smile on his face, Maitreya opened the Dharma sticker in his hand and began to recite.
"The Buddha Tathagata in this world, due to unfavorable affairs, caused several tribulations in his journey to the west and lost the pillars of Buddhism such as Lingji Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Kunpeng Demon Master, and Randen Ancient Buddha. The present Buddha and the saint Jieyin jointly decided to revoke the The original Tathagata’s seat of Buddha.”
"However, the great rise of Buddhism is imminent, and the journey to the west is about to end. Lingshan cannot be left without an owner for a day. Maitreya Buddha is specially appointed as the new Buddha of Lingshan, and the Tathagata will assist him. Once the decree is promulgated, it will take effect on that day."
Maitreya's voice echoed in the Great Thunder Sound Temple for a long time.

The position of leader of Lingshan will be handed over to Maitreya Buddha from now on.
Maitreya Buddha is the future Buddha, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes the Lingshan Buddha. All the Buddhas have long guessed that Maitreya will eventually replace Tathagata, but they did not expect that this day would come so quickly.
For a time, the Buddhas in Lingshan once again communicated with each other and began to discuss.
"It's good to step down. This kid like Tathagata is always hitting people. We are all afraid of him."
"That's right, this kid loves to hit people. He does whatever he wants just because he is the Buddha of Lingshan. It puts a lot of pressure on us. Whenever something happens, who dares to give advice?"
"That's right, the atmosphere in Lingshan was too dull before, and it was this kid who caused it. Now he has finally received his retribution. It's really satisfying."
"Well, Maitreya Buddha is better. He looks amiable. His coming to power this time will be a good thing for us Buddhas and even the entire Lingshan Mountain."
"Yes, yes, Maitreya Buddha gives people a sense of closeness. He will definitely not hit people like Tathagata. We will dare to speak out if we have anything to say in the future."

The Buddhas communicated and discussed among themselves, mostly praising Maitreya and belittling the Tathagata.
The Tathagata remained calm and stood there alone. He didn't know if he would jump up in anger if he heard the Buddhas talking about this kid.

Maitreya put the Dharma sticker away, then took a deep breath, put it on his waist, and looked up at the Buddhas in Lingshan Mountain.

At the same time, all the Buddhas in Lingshan faced Maitreya, clasped their hands and performed a Buddhist salute.

"Tathagata Buddha?" Maitreya shouted with a smile.
Tathagata's face turned red, he immediately turned around, put his hands together and bowed.
"Why did Buddha call me?"
"Can't I call you if I have nothing to do?" Maitreya suddenly became extremely arrogant, and his tone was very similar to the Tathagata before.
This made the Buddhas below suddenly stunned.
No, look at this situation, why does it look like the second Tathagata?
Some people said that Maitreya was amiable before, but now they were slapped in the face.
How could there be any amiable expression on Maitreya's face now?
Faced with Maitreya's unreasonable questioning, Tathagata could not see any anger on his body. Instead, he replied: "Buddha is now the Lord of Lingshan. You can call him whatever you want."
Miroku raised the corners of his mouth slightly.
"Can I sit on your lotus platform now?"
"Can."
Maitreya asked again: "Then why couldn't it be done before? You said you wanted me to take charge of the overall situation of Lingshan, but why can't I sit on your lotus platform?"
Maitreya was obviously trying to settle an old score, and he was being unreasonable.
The Buddhas were speechless for a while.
When Tathagata hit someone before, he would find a reasonable excuse in advance and would never be unreasonable. The person being beaten would usually be convinced.
But Maitreya is different. Maitreya is completely unreasonable.
Tathagata's body trembled slightly, not because of fear, but because of anger, but he was suppressing it forcefully.
"Speak, are you mute?" Maitreya shouted immediately.
Tathagata frowned and said calmly: "I was the Buddha before, but you were not..."

Tathagata had no choice but to take a few steps forward.
