Because its purpose is to enlighten the world and save people, there are not many people who believe in it, and its power is on par with Confucianism and Taoism. According to Buddhism, the world is divided into four major continents, called Dongsheng Shenzhou, Nanzhan Buzhou, Xiniuhezhou, and Beijuluzhou.
China belongs to the southern continent. There are four famous mountains in Nanzhanbuzhou, which is known as the Buddhist Kingdom. These four mountains are Jiuhua, Wutai, Emei and Putuo. The four great masters in charge of these four mountains are Lu Renshan Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, and Guanyin Bodhisattva. Therefore, Jiuhua worships Lu Renshan, which is called Daxing, Wutai worships Manjusri, which is called Great Wisdom, Emei worships Samantabhadra, which is called Great Yong, and Putuo worships Guanyin, which is called Great Compassion. Among these four great masters, the one who is most respected by ordinary people is undoubtedly Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Because if we mention her Dharma name in the crowd, everyone, old, young, women and children will know it. Almost everyone will have an image of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva deeply embedded in their mind.
This universal salute is caused by the influence of Guanyin's magic power.
The purpose of Guanyin is to enable people in the world to reach enlightenment and achieve enlightenment together. According to the Lotus Sutra: "When all living beings are suffering, if they name them with one heart, the Bodhisattva will immediately observe their voices and they will all be liberated. This is why it is called Avalokitesvara."

Among the people, Avalokitesvara has also spread an inseparable and unique connection in the West and China.
The boat of time drifted from ancient times, drifted in the long river of history, and anchored in the last years of the Zhou Dynasty.
The countries in the Central Plains are conquering each other, using their weapons to fight each other, and they are still incomprehensible. There is no place for people to rest in peace, and there is no pure land in the wilderness. At that time, the Xinglin Kingdom in the West was in a time of peace, with good weather and good weather, and the country was peaceful and the people were peaceful.
Speaking of this Xinglin Kingdom, among the countries in the Western Regions, it can be said to be a majestic and independent country, leading all states. However, due to the terrain, it has never been connected to the Central Plains and the two sides are isolated. This is only because there is Mount Sumeru between the two countries.
This mountain is as high as the sky, thousands of miles wide, and stretches across the northwest plateau, like a natural boundary.
At that time, transportation was inconvenient. Although people in the Central Plains knew about this famous mountain, it was because the mountain was deep and dangerous, and the climate was extremely cold. The snow on the mountain generally did not melt even in the hottest weather. In the end, no one dared to take the risk. Head west.
The Xinglin Kingdom had limited information at that time, so it naturally could not communicate with China.
Among the tribes in the West, Xinglin Kingdom has the oldest history and earlier civilization. It also occupies a territory of 36,000 miles and has hundreds of thousands of people. It has been naturally strong for a lifetime and is the only one in the world. All the small tribes cannot but surrender. .
The king of Xinglin Kingdom, whose surname was He Mingjia, was called Miaozhuang King because of his reign name Miaozhuang.
He Jia was not an emperor who succeeded his father as his son, but he was an all-rounder in both civil and military affairs, both wise and courageous. He won the championship many times on the racecourse. He used his bow and arrows, walked through the poplars with a hundred steps, and danced with ink. He "written a thousand words relying on the horse to wait", and the goat hair in his hand was the flower in the pen. At the age of eighteen, he became famous in Xinglin because of his unparalleled talents; when he was just twenty years old, he was elected as the king of Xinglin.
He commanded tens of millions of subjects and governed a land thousands of miles wide. Queen Baoyin was named Baoyin and lived the same life as King Miaozhuang.
Xinglin Kingdom is located in the north of Suiye Kingdom and is named after its lush bamboo forests. The climate there is mild and spring-like all year round; the land is fertile and the people are diligent. The right time, the right location, and the right people, all three are sufficient, the country is peaceful and the people are safe, the weather is smooth, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, life is long, and everything goes smoothly.
King Miaozhuang achieved his ambition at a young age and devoted himself to building a successful career. He treated his ministers with righteousness, governed the people with propriety, dealt with the world with morality, and treated his parents with filial piety. It can be said that he spreads benevolence and righteousness, his Tao is in harmony with the heart of heaven, his merits reach insects and trees, and all the people are grateful. The elders only lamented that their life span was too short and were reluctant to leave this peaceful and prosperous age. The young people felt that they had caught up with the good times and secretly wished King Miaozhuang to live forever.
As the saying goes: "There are indeed thousand-year-old trees in the mountains, and it is rare to find a centenarian in the world." Don't think that even if you are an emperor, people will call him "Long live! Long live! Long live!" In fact, his lifespan may not be as long as "White Clouds Deep" People in the mountains, where there are people everywhere, live longer.
King Miaozhuang is a sensible man. He does not seek any immortal medicine or immortal prescription, nor does he expect to live forever. I just want to pass on the eternal inheritance that I created with my own hands to my descendants.
There is a saying: the sky has treasures, like the sun, moon and stars; the earth has treasures, like grains and gardens; the state has treasures, like loyal ministers and good generals; the family has treasures, like filial sons and virtuous grandchildren. Although King Miaozhuang has no filial sons or grandsons, he is not in a hurry, because he is still young and strong, like a seedling about to sprout, like the sun rising at the beginning, so he is afraid that he will not have children later? !
It's a pity that others live up to their expectations but fail to live up to their expectations. For ten years after he ascended the throne, except for Queen Baoyin who gave birth to two "daughters" for him, none of the seventy-two concubines in the three palaces and six courtyards were happy.
The king of Miaozhuang is the lord of the country and is richest in the world. However, there is one thing that cannot be seized by the king's power, nor can it be bought by gold and silver. However, he only has two princesses and no prince.
King Miaozhuang was already over sixty years old and had no heir, so he naturally looked forward to his son. Because of this matter, he often felt depressed, and sometimes he couldn't help but sigh.
As the saying goes, "You can't buy interest with money, and you can't use it with strength." Even if he worries, it will be useless.
He passed day by day in hope, anxiety and depression. Spring passes and autumn comes, and several years pass by in a hurry.
In the long summer of this year, a pond of white lotuses in the imperial garden was blooming in the wind, and the fragrance was frivolous. Because Queen Baoyin felt that King Miaozhuang was depressed these past few days, she set up a banquet in the pavilion of the lotus pond and invited King Miaozhuang to drink to relieve his boredom. The couple then sat down in the pavilion with their heads down. Guan'e's colorful girls were divided into groups to pour wine and deliver food.
Although King Miaozhuang felt uncomfortable about the issue of heirs, he was deeply aware of Queen Baoyin's good intentions and couldn't help but smile. On the one hand, I looked at the thousands of white lotuses in the pool, which were blooming in uneven patterns, against the green lotus cover, looking elegant and lovely. The breeze passed by, trembling gently, like a shy expression, and the faint fragrance also spread from the wind, refreshing.
In this kind of environment, King Miaozhuang also felt that there was a different world and it was very interesting. The melancholy in his heart had long been blown away by the breeze, and the lotus fragrance was gone.
At this point, he and Queen Baoyin passed cups to each other, drank happily, talked and laughed. When Queen Baoyin saw that he was happy, she was also happy. She poured wine from the pot herself and ordered the concubines to sing and dance at the banquet. It's exactly that: laughter, music, and scenery are strange. With such a commotion, the bright moon has long since set in the west.
King Miaozhuang had drunk too much, and he didn't realize that Yushan was decadent. Taking advantage of the wine, he ordered the banquet to be removed, supported Gong'e, took Queen Baoyin, and went back to the palace to rest.
When King Miaozhuang woke up, the red sun filled the window.
Queen Baoyin had already finished dressing up, so she helped King Miaozhuang get up and asked him to wash up. While preparing his food, she said to King Miaozhuang: "I had a strange dream last night. I don't know what good or bad luck it is. I dreamed of a place. I am in the right place." It looks like a seaside, a vast expanse of white, boundless shores, with rolling waves, which makes it very scary."
After Queen Baoyin finished speaking, she described the dream in a serious manner, "I was looking at it when suddenly there was a loud sound of '娇', and a golden lotus emerged from the sea. When it first emerged from the water, it was the same size as an ordinary lotus. It was also very close to the water. Unexpectedly, the golden lotus grew taller and bigger, and the golden light became more and more dazzling. I couldn't even open my eyes. So I closed my eyes for a while and waited until I could see them again. When you open it, where are the golden lotuses? Standing in the sea, there is a sacred mountain. On the mountain, there are many overlapping pavilions, as well as precious trees and rare birds, sky dragons and white cranes. What are these scenes? It's far away and can't be seen clearly. There is only a mountain in the middle, and a seven-level pagoda emerges. On the top of the pagoda, a bright pearl is placed squarely, emitting thousands of strange lights, which is very solemn. . Just as I was looking at it, the bright pearl suddenly rose into the sky, and in an instant it turned into a rising sun. It gradually approached the coast, and soon it was hanging high on top of my head. There was another loud bang. , the rising sun rolled down into my arms. I was so frightened that my hands and feet were busy trying to escape, but my feet seemed to have roots. Unconsciously, I struggled hard and woke up on my own. , sleeping peacefully on the bed, where is the sea, what mountains and all the scenes? At this point, I realized that it was a dream." After Queen Baoyin described it vividly, she looked at King Miaozhuang with worry, "This I don’t know what the dream means, or what good or bad luck it means.”
After King Miaozhuang patiently listened to Queen Baoyin's account, he was secretly happy and comforted Queen Baoyin: "What the royal wife saw in her dream was clearly the true form of the Buddha's Paradise. It is rare for ordinary people to encounter it, so naturally it is a good thing." It is a sign of pregnancy. Besides, the bright pearl is clearly a Buddhist relic. It turns into the rising sun, which is the yang sign. If it is put into the arms, it goes without saying that it is a sign of pregnancy. The royal wife got this dream sign, and now she is pregnant, and there is no doubt that she will give birth to a boy. What a joy and congratulation!”
Queen Baoyin was naturally overjoyed after hearing these words. This matter spread throughout the palace, so everyone in Hegong had great hope.
